I have some inconsistent advice on setting up the Battle Tactics from what's available on the Wiki.
Can we please get some final say on what actually does what?
I have three sources that state that Intel, Dex, Skill and FA affect the Fire Arms skill, however, these sources still suggest we earn different types of experience (Body, Mind, Spirit).

Battle Tactics
While I understand the game still tells you that you earned X number in A, B, C, I didn’t think it actually mattered anymore because we strictly gain Exp - in a single form.
The last source which gives details on how to actually fight, says that only FA, Dex and Skill alone affect the FA skill. No mention of Intel is given.

So, which is it?

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
I've always statted it as intel, dex and FA.
No skill.
My thieves add in the extra skill for breaking & entering, but Valentina who is strictly FA, has no skill and can take down Mooncalfs.
Same with Opal actually, no skill, but she has 20 dex, 20 intel and 19 WP. She can take down Beserkers, no problem.
Skill overall, helps everything.
But for me, and it's just in my opinion - I've found I havn't needed it. When it comes to FA, that is.

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
Myk has Intel of 20 and misses a good 75% of the time, if not more.
His Skill is 22. Dexterity is 20, sometimes 24 (use telekinetic shield a lot). His FA is 11.
Even his gun has an accuracy of 10.
So... I'm stumped.

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
It's a general thing I've found because I always have Full Reports on.
I'm not saying he doesn't win his battles - which is more often than not against AZs & Moonies - but just by watching his reports, I'm realising that he misses an awful lot. The battles tend to be long as a result, which drains on his stamina.
The most he can take down at this point is the Encantado Workers (sp?)

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
What is his willpower?
I don't know this for a fact, but my business character with horrible intell and bad dex, 15 ma and 15 fa, takes down stuff my killer character with better stats, sometimes cant. That's because her willpower is so high. I imagine it allows her to stay (stubbornly) in the battle longer and she gets lucky.

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
I'm in agreement. Willpower plays a big part too.Your willpower rating is an indication of your character’s determination and strength of will. This stat helps your character resist most powers, can affect how vulnerable your character is while wounded, helps determine your total actions in rituals, and higher Willpower decreases the days it takes to write scripts. Willpower is also used in working out the hidden 'battle weariness' statistic while in battle, allowing you to withstand more damage before being defeated.

In aiming?
o.O
Well, his Will is 17...
ETA:
And, it seems, when he does actually hit something, he either does significant damage - in red - or none at all - left in normal text.

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
Int adds a bonus to hit and dodge in FA but I think it adds a bigger bonus to dodge which might be why you're not seeing as much benefit from it.

Re: FA - Battle Tactics
Mad has 24, 24 and 16 and she misses a lot too. I think it has more to do with tactics against what your fighting. When I have bold run and gun, she misses more than when I have wait for the kill shot set. Though I rarely set either and tend to stick with flank or mixture.
Slightly off topic, but what I find more unnerving when I have full reports on is how much time Mad spends making moves outside of what I set her at. I've had her sent to flank and had a total battle of nothing but bold run and gun and acrobatic gun play.
