October has come and along with it, a new RP competition. We, the Path Moderation Team, have always enjoyed diversity. But what exactly makes diversity? To answer that question is simple, it is each and everyone one of you. So we will continue our trend by focusing this RP competition on you, but more specifically, your character's path.
Concept/Plot
- The overall goal in this RP competition is to find out what defines your character and their path. How a heavy decision is made, a situation is handled, or how you swindle someone and how it fits into the overall scope of your character. To put it simply, we want to read about the hard challenges your character goes through and overcomes them on a daily basis. The flaws your character has to deal with its path and the benefits that come with it. How to write it is up to you.
Participation Rewards
- Winners will be selected at random from among the participants that meet the criteria before the deadline. Prizes are per person, not per thread. While you may have any number of your active characters compete, only one may get a prize.

Criteria
- All threads should be posted to the 'Path Hardcore Ruleset (IC)' board. The Hardcore Ruleset Guidelines may be ignored for the purpose of this competition.
- Put [ORPC] in the title.
- You must make a minimum of 10 posts per person to qualify for the rewards.
- Each post must be a minimum of 250 words long.
- Solo or collaborative RPs welcome. If doing a collaborative RP; posting order must be maintained so no skipping and no more than 3 people per thread.
- Each character must describe a minimum of three flaws and three benefits that come along with the path throughout the thread.
- Please number the flaws/benefits as you go. Typing ((Flaw 1/Benefit 1)) at the end of the post should be sufficient.
- You may roleplay alone, with a partner or as a group, however live transcripts will not be counted for the purposes of this competition. Traditional (long-form) roleplay only. And each character must meet the criteria to be included.
- You may enter with more than one character.
- One entry per character. (Even if RPing with others, you are individually entered in the prize draw).
- Karma will be awarded to the account name drawn.
- Deadline for completion is sunrise on Friday 31st October.
- Lastly, post here when your thread is complete. Please include a summary of the RP, (more specifically the finer points of the flaws your character overcame and the benefits they embraced) and a link to your thread.
