New Player / New Character Contest

I am getting rid of my character Jennifer and decided to get rid of all of her stuff. So in lieu of my making a new character (that will hopefully someday end up more than just an idea in my head) I figured I would give away all of Jennifer's stuff to new players/characters.

Start Date: NOW!

End Date: October 31st, 2014

Requirements:

• 1 Solo Thread
• Minimum of 5 posts
• Minimum of 500 words each.
• Cannot be a diary/journal style thread.

• 1 Open Thread
• Minimum of 5 posts from you, the contestant
• Minimum of 500 words each
• Must wait 48 hours between double posting
• (48 hour wait between every post of your own if no one else has posted.)

• Completion
• Upon completion of each thread, post the link to them here.
• Completion only requires your number of posts, no one else's and that thread is not limited to the minimum posts.

Restrictions:

• The character must have been created on or after June 1st, 2014

• All the in-game cash Jennifer has in her bank account (minus 10k)
• She will be ran every day until this ends to increase this amount.
• Current balance: 283,363 Prize Value: 273,363

• Alligator Tooth Necklace

• Prize D- (# of prizes: 1)
• $150,000 IGC - set amount

Other information:

~Prizes will be drawn at random to those who completed the requirements.
~All prizes will be given away no matter how many people enter. So if it's just one, they get everything.

I struggled with the "new" restriction.

Levels have been used in the past but there seemed to be a lot of objection to using leveling since vamps/pathed humans level so much faster than regular humans, that levels in the game didn't equate knowledge, etc etc.

I asked a few people and most of them said by the time you've been playing 6-8 months, you know the game and your character (if you're an active rp'er) rather well so I figured 3 months was a decent estimate?

I'm not even sure how much interest there is in this. For all I know, you might be the only one and I'm totally flexible on 6 days

Hm...this sounds like a healthy challenge. I definitely could use the push to write and some sweet rewards for my newbie self.

ETA: I've been working on a solo post for the past 10 days, which I haven't actually posted yet because I wanted to get it all completed before posting. I was going to back-date it to the 10th September because it was relative to a wound he had. Would this count or would you rather I start a new one to apply?

I don't mind either way. I'm actually looking for reasons to RP him more.
