Question about possible Quarantine Zone demolition

The new candidates for the new mayor seem to want, eventually, to get rid of the Quarantine Zone, but what will happen to the buildings purchased by players? Will we be permitted to rebuild them, keep them as is or have them re named, if such a thing eventually happens.

No matter what happens, buildings purchased by players will remain, or the owners will be allowed to have them repurposed if that's what they prefer.
