Who Bit Brick?

Was this always going to end up with the person who bit Brick dying?
That wasn't really laid out in the rp planning thread, and seems like false advertising.
I doubt Jenny would have replied to this or fessed up to the "crime" tbh had she known oocly. I mean, it's not like Madison would have known who did it ic, without Jenny telling you and then replying to that thread that isn't done yet to my knowledge.

Yes, it was going to go to blows and to death because 9 times out of 10 Madison doesn't stop. Jenny knew this was going to lead to violence eventually.

But there's more than what meets the eye in just this planning thread.

And sometimes minds change about who you want to interact with on an in and out of character level.

After Jenny and my last correspondence, it was just a very poor decision to have CC call Madison what she did on a public forum.

CC didn't die because she killed Brick so there's no false advertising.

She died because she didn't be quiet after her beatdown and called her what she did.

How did she know that? I see nothing posted in the start of this thread about it potentially leading up to a death or anything of the sorts. I mean, she's not even sure CC did it, as a bunch of people bit brick, right?

So had, say, Liz hypothetically bit brick and I answered this oocly and said it might have been her, I would damn well expect to know that this was going to lead to death right off the bat. Who is to say CC didn't have alter ego activated and she was a different looking person. Or meaner things where she was a rabid animal attacking Brick? She wasn't even given the option to attempt to be sneaky knowing there might be death on the table as a possibility, or even some retribution, be it funds, or a cripple attempt, which you did. I mean this is an RP planning thread, not a grid based action thread, which isn't needed. people can do w/e on grid without asking for rp behind it.

If death had been a possible option, I think it should have been stated, because CC is a sneaky character and she would have attacked Brick in a sneaky manner, imo.

Not a grid based thread.
As far as I can tell, there's no or very little RP behind why madison wants CC dead.
IC, she has no idea why madison attacked her, nor has madison given her any chances to right a wrong (even if it led up to death, regardless). There's no reason to have an rp planning thread if it's just gonna lead right to grid based death or BTTD. So I'm confused as to why there was a planning thread, instead of a "Hey who killed Brick? Madison wants their head on a pike, so lemme know and let's take this grid side!" thread.

I think this should stay between Madison and CC... I'm friendly with both players, just like Becca, but I think some words are what one would call 'fighting words' and at that point all bets are off, lol. IMO, both CC and Madison are acting exactly how I'd have expected. I just hope they both keep it separate and things don't escalate.

She had no choice. There was no rp letting her know who madison was, or why she was attacking her.
Unless you expected Jen to cross and just know who madison was after the attacks.

Actually, it's not.
Jen doesn't even care CC died. She cares that there was no rp behind it.
She doesn't know Madison ic. Or who brick is or was in relationship to Madison.
You can feel however you like about it, just like others can about how some serious miscommunication went on from the get go.

And that's just it. you acted on grid without giving her or CC a chance to react about the death of brick at all.
That's unfair on a few levels.
