if tomorrow is Mort's birthday, then she needs as many spankings that can be mustered.
Some day I'm gonna be happy. I don't know when just now

Congrats to Mordechai! PM me to let me know which relic you'd like.
Yes, the victory will stand. If there's an issue with combat melee vs ranged, it's a balancing issue rather than a bug, because that part of the code hasn't changed since it was copied over from the NPC battle code. the problem more than likely arises due to the fact that PC stats are more evenly matched than NPC stats. Does the code need to be worked on? Yes, but it's not likely a "bug" by the strictest definition. So the best fighter won.
We're going to code an automated gauntlet system soon. So you'll all get another chance at the title shortly.
Mordechai won it because the odds were in his favour as the stronger of the remaining characters. With the aid of your tactical experience I'd assume? Without meaning to take anything away from Mord's player of course. But as the stronger character does not always win, I'd say my original point would still stand. Mordechai might not win next time, or even the time after that, even in a similar situation. And if he does win every time without fail, then the battle system won't have been set up how I intended.

That's kind of what seeding is. Seeding is unlikely to happen, though.Phoenix wrote:I never suggested seeding.
How does ordering the participants by level, then assigning odd-numbered individuals to the right, even-numbered individuals on the left, then randomly assigning pairs based on an even division suck for everyone other than 'me and those like me'?

Just out of curiosity, were the winners given their cash prizes? I only ask because as usual, I don't really watch how much is in each of mine's account. I have a rough estimate, but not a specific amount.
If it was, cool! I just missed it and that's fine.
