Cop/hunter hits take 1 unit of blood. They also have durations of 1-3 days, if I remember right.

Paladins can give gouged or sliced wounds but all to the same areas and same negative impact.

Severity seems to be random, though better stats do make evading them easier, and minimizes loss a bit. Been a while since I got a 3 day wound. Most I get are 1 day wounds, every now and then I get 2 day wounds.
