So, it's been close to a month since classes let out. The plan was to go back to states and spend the summer but...that didn't work out. So I'm taking summer classes to stay in the dorms. Yay I guess. Not a huge fan of the cold but the library is open 24/7 and I can keep myself busy.
With this change though, I'm going to try and make some other changes. I'm not just in a new state, I'm in a whole new country. There's no reason to be the same old Nate, right?
So, goals:
1. Go to a club. Or bar. Or just any public gathering place. Are there even any here? It's a college town so I think there are. Leave a comment with information about good places to try out.
2. Go on a date. There are women here, I'm positive there are. I've seen them in my classes. I just have to talk to one of them. Or more than one. Doubtful that the first one will work out.
That's it for now (other than the usual ones of pass my classes and maintain the 4.0 gpa). I'm gonna try and keep this up to keep me accountable. If I put it out there, I have to actually do it? Right?

Re: My Blog
Well, day 1 didn't go so great. Made myself go to the student center on campus and ate lunch in the caf. I'm used to eating in my dorm over my laptop but I figured this would be a good place to start. Seems it wasn't a good idea.
Bunch of guys sat down around me. We'd had some classes together and so I tried to be friendly. They started talking about a thing that they were going to go do and the way they were doing it, I thought that they were inviting me along so I asked if it was something I could help with. Of course they said yes and I found myself being led along to Wickbridge near the bank.
What I thought was going to be some fun discussion and conversation turned out to be a nightmare night of breaking in to buildings and running from the cops. I had a panic attack and they left me propped up beside the transit station.
I don't think I'm going to eat at the caf again anytime soon.
