“My businesses will be fine. Dave and Dru can handle it, plus my workers.” Kira replied, the lounge can run karaoke nights and only do shows on Fridays, it would work out. Unless someone wanted a reading then she wasn’t really needed at her other store, unless they had questions. It could be handled over the phone if needed be.
She wasn’t sure if any of the bikers would be a telepath, she hadn’t thought that far. Surely out of all of them there could be one. “Can’t mind block myself and not sure if Dru can do it over such a distance..” she said, closing her eyes a moment. She lived without powers once a month as it was, not that she was going to tell these guys that. It was worse than just being without powers, she felt almost human.
“Well, I’m not going anywhere without her, so no problems then.” Kira said firmly after Lexy said she wouldn’t go anywhere. She looked to her friend, “Have any idea where we going with all these guys? Need some place to hide from the sun..” she said, course if many of them were killers they could have daywalker, but her concern was for herself. If the sun came up, she would have to turn into her animal form in order not to freak out. And servals can’t drive motorcycles. “Maybe this could be a vacation…goddess knows I need one.” She said, at least it could be a vacation, as long as everyone got along which as long as she wasn’t touched, she would try to play nice.
Kira looked over as the bikers started to get on their bikes and started to leave. “I will be using my motorcycle. I know Lexy doesn’t want to ride with me and you all be concerned we’ll split so she’ll ride with someone else..” she said.
Max nodded, he watched as the others were going. He looked at Snake a moment, once Alex was on a motorcycle with one of their own and Kira on her own they could take up the rear to make sure nothing happened.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Alexandrea nodded when Kira expalined how her businesses would be fine but Alex had nothing to say, as she couldn't be so sure of her own. Between two places to work, Drusilla couldn't be everywhere at once and although Alexandrea had Odin for security, he had an entire mall to run. Then there was Nimrod. Nimmy was sweet but he would not be able to handle anything that went wrong, unless it was just a mess to be cleaned up. And Breyanna? Alex's childe was asleep more than she was awake. Alexandrea sighed softly to herself. It looked as if there was no one who would be able to open Alex's store and keep it running. Except maybe Morgan?
Morgan. Alexandrea had to let her friend know that she would be gone awhile, so Alex sent a message to the young woman's mind. * I'll be away for bit but don't worry, I'll be fine. Do what you can to keep opening up the shop but if you aren't able to, don't stress over it. I'll be in touch as soon as I can. Take care, I love you.* Alex doubted that the party girl would be able to handle running a store but she did know that her friend would be worried if she didn't hear from Alexandrea for a month. So, at least that was taken care of.
Alex also that knew that Madison was always busy as were all her other friends, so she didn't see the point in alarming any of them. She doubted most would even notice she was gone. Although she might have wished that a certain someone would.
But she had no illusions. It just was... what it was. She wasn't his 'real' girlfriend afterall. The one time he called her that he had taken it back. But she did know that Odin did care, in his own way. Even if he wouldn't admit it. So Odin was the last person she would reach out to right now. If he wasn't busy and annoyed at being bothered then he might start asking questions and then summon her away if he grew alarmed. And that would unravel the plan to get these rouge Vampires out of town.
But upon futher refection, Alexandrea reconsidered contacting anyone else. She had just been attempting to reach Maddie earilier that evening, and Madison was her oldest friend. Kira and her were Alex's best friends. So she sent a short message to her dear Mad Maddie May. *I'll be away for awhile. But don't worry. I love you and will see you in about a month.* Alexandrea felt a bit bad, just leaving it at that. But the two old friends had been though a lot together, both in the distant past and the recent. And both had very busy lives. The Alluist hoped... no, she knew... her Telepath friend would understand.
The issue of one of them trying to escape seemed to have been resolved after Alex had given her word she wouldn't even try and then Kira had responded with the information that she wouldn't go anywhere without Alexandrea. Alex's heart sang at that news and she reached out to impulsively hug her sweet friend. It was so wonderful to know that no matter what, the other Allurist had her back. But then Kiwi asked about what their destination was and Alex had no idea where they were goingto go. She stared back blankly at the other blonde and just shrugged, but then she turned to look at the guy everyone called Snake.
"Snake? Do you all have a place in mind? Or ar we just going to ride off into the sunrise and risk some of us being burned?" Alexandrea grimaced at her chose of words. "Sorry, that was insensitive... I apologize." Alex wasn't concerned so much for herself, she had no issue with being in the sun. But Kira hated it and would have to shift forms to deal with it.
Snake laughed at the little blonde's apology and nodded. "Yeah, I get what ya meant. And don't you worry your pretty little head about it. Our gang has places all along the highway where we can hang out to avoid the sun. Where we are heading, I can't tell ya. Cus I don't know. That's up to Nick."
Nick. Alexandrea thought to herself that Snake had to mean that huge tree of a man that seemed to be the leader. It crossed her mind that at one time her friend Madison and herself had been quite... 'close' to a young man named Nick. But Alex had seen this Nick and if he was the leader, then it wasn't the same Nick that her high school friend and her had put the screws to for two timing them.
Kira's advice to think of the adventure as a vacation was kept firmly in her thoughts as it was decided that Alexandrea would ride with one of the Bikers while Kira rode her own bike. Alex swallowed a lump in her throat and was sorry she had said whe would never ride with Kira on a bike again. But it was for the best. If the two of them were on the same motorcycle, then the men would be more suspicious that the pair of bondes might try to ditch them. But before Alexandrea could start to over think everything, Hubcap and the tall tree like man came out of the bar and it looked like the whole gang was ready to go. The muscular bald man that Alexandrea had begun to consider a possible friend walked over and held out his arm.
"Not gonna toss ya like a shack of potatoes over my shoulder anymore, shorty." He said with a wink and a grin. His respect for the woman had grown. "But would you ride with me?"
With a soft but nervous smile, Alexandrea went ahead and took his arm and let him lead her to his bike and then got on the back behind him. Her helmet was still right there where she had left it and she put it back on after asking Hubcap if he knew where they where going. But the man just shrugged his shoulders and started up his ride as the leader, Nick...?, got on a motorcycle that seemed far too small for such a huge frame. And as soon as the huge tree like Allurist's bike roared to life and sped off, all the other bikers followed.
Hubcap seemed to be taking it easy and Alexandrea began to relax, almost enjoying the ride even if they were, in her opinion, heading the wrong way. As the trees of the wilderness thinned out, the gang moved onto a newer paved road and then hit the highway soon after. Alex tried not to panic as deep in her gut she knew that they were long gone from the city limits of Harper Rock. At least the rouge Vampires were now safely out of town. Alex just hoped she wasn't going to end up as road pizza and never be able to come back again.

Re: [tCotR] Special Event - The Biker Rogues
Kira wondered if she should ask Dru to check on Lexy's shop. Surely Dave could handle her shops. Guess they could worry about that later once they got to wherever they were going. She didn't contact anyone, the one person who might notice she was gone was going with her. Dru and Dave would the only others. She focused on right now when she was hugged, she wasn't sure why, maybe because of what was happening or maybe she had said something to get that sort of reaction.
She listened to Snake as he explained the gang had plenty of hide outs and Nick, who she guessed was the leader would be leading the way. If they had other places then exactly what would Lexy be paying for? Gas money?
As the others came out, watched as the huge man got on his motorcycle. She was expecting him to ride a much bigger bike and it almost seemed comical if Kira had a better sense of humor and it was a lighter time. She watched Lexy get on Hubcap's bike, Kira went to her own, putting her helmet on and took off, Max and Snake keeping up with her as Kira kept up with Hubcap. She wasn't about to push her luck outside of Harper Rock. She didn't want to find out if the rumor was true, if one died out here they could never return again.
They reached a hideout in time for those who needed to hide from the sun to hide. Kira found the darkest spot she could find, trying to forget where she was.
Over the course of the time they spent there, Kira found out that Max had a dancing background that he was keeping from the others. She used him to hash out some dance steps that the Beef Cakes were stuck on. First time she ever had to do a video chat with her phone. And of course her workers wondered where she was and who the hell the man was but she kept them in the dark, it was just a vacation and someone she met during her stay was willing to help her.
She got several updates from Dave that Sof was driving him crazy since she didn't come home, again she had to use the video chat to calm the feline down. At least someone missed her. She didn't know the cat would react like that. A trip to the shadow realm took less time, not that she had any way to video chat there. While she was sure the dogs missed her too, they didn't seem to be as effected by her disappearance as the cat was.
Finally the wait was over, the biker gang no longer had their names on the list. The blondes taught them all they knew about vampire life so they could start their life over. At least Kira hoped they wouldn't be killed anyway out of spite, not that she would put it passed people doing so.
Maybe they had made some allies but all that was on Kira's mind now was getting home. She hoped to never have to such a mission again, even though it turned out alright.
