“And you’re the only woman I’ve come across that’s not given into me thus far.”
There was a coy smile to go with that her previous sly smile of hers. Nishaa was a player. She’d be what you’d call a slut.. Never enough sex for her. Always craving that sexual release. Her dark orbs flitted to the woman then, folding her arms over her chest. Her hand warmed to her arm then, an odd sensation filled her – her fangs quivered, tugging at the flesh of her lip. Whatever was happening was glorious, it was like euphoria. She didn’t understand. She had been mildly hungry before – an odd craving for blood, now that craving had gone and her stomach full.
“Why am I no longer hungry?”
The question cut Every off. As she unfolded her hands looking to her palms curiously. Her eyes cast down to the knife still pressing against her pale yet cold skin. “Put the knife away.” She said, her voice like sharp steel. She wasn’t going to run away – she couldn’t not after this woman had given her immortality. The word immortality it still excited her, made her smile. She knew she would have to get used to this gift. The idea of keeping this gift a secret annoyed her. She understood now there was a genocide that endured the deaths of many vampires – or so she assumed there would be from what Every was saying but still, she was sure there were strong vampires – strong enough to take out the hunters that opposed the predators.
“You won’t kill me.”
Her words left her lips before she could even think about what she had just said – the words, they just spewed from her mouth like water from a tap. She wasn’t even 100% sure what this woman was capable of. “I know you won’t.” Again, she wasn’t sure but it felt right to say such things.
