Then the name should just be changed, cuz the arguments about some powers being too lame or some being too much would certainly apply to one that makes a person COMPLETELY unable to be found.Robert Pratt wrote:Yup. Untraceable should literally mean, untraceable. Not just 'blocks 1 power and someone's sense of 'smell''

Re: Aura Tracking
Not completely. Just blocks powers and original tracking.
Because why should you being able to find someone, be more important than you being able to hide from someone?

Re: Aura Tracking
I don't think it's a matter of importance. But that argument could be reversed to say, why should one's power to hide be greater than a multitude of others to find? So the individual could get one power to hide and the other's numerous will never find them? I think it was done right....different ones cancel out different ones, but none are absolute.

Re: Aura Tracking
Oh it can absolutely be reversed. lol.
But yes, untraceable doesn't make you untraceable and it's totally misleading.
Aura tracking - Aurascreen cloak, with MASSIVE stats needed for it to work.
Triangulate - Alter Ego
Eye Spy - Untraceable
Psychometry - Nothing?
So you've got all the seeker powers on one bridge, for one person to get in quick time. Then the two powers that block 2 of the seeker powers are at complete opposite ends of the wheel with Shadow and Killer. Then another seeker power isn't blocked at all, the other one you need the cloak and stupidly high stats to counteract.
If any of that is wrong, let me know. My brain isn't fully working so some of that might be incorrect. lol.
But if that's right, the seeker bridge is FAR too overpowered compared to the 'hiding' powers.

Re: Aura Tracking
Considering Mad has Hide in Shadows, the ability and the PXP to get Alter Ego right now if I chose, the availability of those two powers are really dependent on what path you start on.
She also has enough Stamina to make an Aurascreen cloak useful if she had one.
Psychometry can be avoided as well as aura tracking with the help of friends or using a bit of critical thinking.
Also, the amount of PXP that the Seeker bridge costs is also dependent on your starting path and how far away you are.
