Embracing Animals

Post by Enver Marshall II »

Yes. I know it is not possible.
But it did come up in an rp as a passing thought with Enver yesterday. So what would happen (if anything) to an animal if someone attempted to sire an animal, or it was an accidental sort of thing? Would anything happen at all, or would it just be like...oh I gave it blood and bam, nothing?

I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed in the answer, but I'm hoping that since the end result is "they die and are not vampires" people sort of have free reign with this (within a said timeline too, obviously. Not saying a vampire dog can run around for a day before dying. Give it like..minutes tops before they die).

Any thoughts?

I think that that would be an interesting explanation for the zombified animals in the CotD raids. Animals that have ingested vampire blood either on accident or through attempted turnings.

Think this was answered before. They'd die from the turning, most of the time. If any did survive, they would be like feral vampires. No powers, just a thirst for blood.

Yeah, I would like an answer to this too, cause Krow was going to feed Feral Blood to the rats :P

Yeah I believe it was answered on the Q&A. Trayonetic (vampiric) animals are like zombies. Well, more like feral vampires, really (mindless, with no real powers, just stronger, faster, and bloodthirsty). Vampires today don't know how to turn an animal trayonetic, but they will find those secrets soon. It might happen accidentally from time to time, so writer's choice on that part.

Would it be a bit of a stretch to say some of these feral dogs could be a reason for some of these feral vampires? Because you could always RP a dog or whatever animal transitioning to a feral vampire as some form for rabies.

So can someone rp right now, as accidentally making one out of say...like 100 attempts? Or is it best to wait until those secrets are out?

I'd say that the whole 'it might happen accidentally' means you can write it now.

You won't know how it happened, or be able to replicate it until that story is out. But, accidents happen
