Inside the building, Zelda had no idea where to go or what to do. She couldn’t see the Margay anywhere. She didn’t know how to track. This was like some scene out of a crime show, some action thriller, but she had no clues, and no idea where to go next. She supposed she should just search for some people, fully expecting Nyla to go raging on in and wreaking havoc, whereupon Zelda and Shan would be late to the party. Zelda didn’t particularly want to be late to the party, not this time. Inside the building the sound of her skates were louder, echoing against the vast, dilapidated walls.
The redhead was looking for an overlarge cat. Instead, what came charging toward her, growling, was a large wolf. Zelda recalled the wolves in those raids in the catacombs and, had she blood filling her cheeks, it might have drained. Ahead of her was some debris, which she leapt over; she did not land. Not fully. A neat little trick she’d recently learned was that she could hover. Her feet didn’t have to touch the ground, and though she was still learning how to control the power, and how to not look completely awkward while doing it, it was helpful in this particular situation. She should probably try to be quiet, given the fact that she couldn’t hear anyone screaming yet – though she could hear voices. Somewhere. But where were they coming from?
That didn’t matter. There was a huge ******* wolf careening toward her and she figured the game was probably up. Or there were just wild animals in here, and she should try to defend herself. Her gun pointed at the wolf, she backed away from it. She didn’t pull the trigger, however, as there was something oddly familiar about the colouring of the wolf. Where had she seen that before?!
“Shan!” she whisper-shouted in the dark.
“******* wolf!” she whisper shouted again, still backing away.
At least she wasn’t alone, she thought.

Re: Solara and the Lancers of the Corona
Muttering to herself in the dark, Shan couldnt help but to think about how damned thirsty she was. It was a thousand plagues upon her, the way her throat always seemed on fire and caused her a distress she could not stop. Struggling to quell it was always a constant battle, and it was clear to anyone looking upon her that she was in slight distress from it. She mumbled incoherently to herself, walking along slowly behind Zelda and Nyla a good distance, not really trying to hurry except that she didnt want to miss seeing the other two in action. They were getting closer, and Shan could tell that there were possibly even more people in the area, seeing more and more signs of multiple people within the abandoned building.
She looked down to check her gun, and made sure the safety was off, before looking up as she heard her name in a hushed distressed yell of sorts. "Hmm?" She looked up, blood red hues dashing up to the one who said her name, why was Zelda on a pile of debris? Shan gave her a quizzical look, then dashed her hues to the wolf that approached. Shan knew this wolf. She remembered the first time she had seen Nyla change into it, while in a raid full of zombified wolves. She hushed a laugh, shaking her head at Zelda who was silently flipping out. "Nyla." She pointed to the wolf, giving a roll of her head around her shoulders. She then raised a brow. What did it mean, that Nyla had shifted from the margay to the wolf? Shan didnt rather care all too much, and she cocked her gun and nodded. "We need a distraction. I can go in first." She offered, eyeing down the sights of her gun. They were perfectly lined up, as usual, and she looked up at the wolf, then at Zelda in her skates, hovering. Weird.
Wait. Hovering? Hmm. "Sparky. Can you maintain that weird hover thing? Maybe sneak in and get us a better idea of whats going on it there?" She asked Zelda calmly and semi-hushed, still checking over her gun. She rather didnt care either way, if they heard her or not. People coming out of the woodwork with guns blaring didnt bother her - but she figured Nyla didnt rather want to do things that way since she had morphed to the wolf and come back to the two of them. She would have really liked to just go barging in though... the thought stayed on the front burner in her mind as something else she could suggest if Zelda couldnt be the sleuth that they needed right now.

Re: Solara and the Lancers of the Corona
Solara sat at the legs of someone, not sure where to go. There were people everywhere. In front of her, behind her, to the side of her. There was no where to run to, or scoot to in her position. "This ***** isn't a witch." A hand grabbed her from the sloppy ponytail she sported and yanked Solara off the ground, roughly. "You know, hair is a living thing! It hurts to get it pulled, you dick!" A foot came up to stomp down on the top of the male that grabbed her, the creep that got it on with ghosts.
There wasn't a reply, at least not in the verbal sense. Instead, a kick to the back of her knee was felt and Solara stumbled forward, her hair being ripped from the back of her hair as he tried to keep her up by him and she allowed gravity to pull her downwards. Tears welled in her eyes from the pain that tore through the back of her head as a hand moved up to try and keep it in place. It wasn't that Solara was one of those girls who cared if she was missing a few locks, but it hurt!
"I know you can do it. You have to do it." Heather was trying to coax her, as if Solara was holding out on them. "Bring it back. Bring the cat back." "She can't ******* do it. Shut up already. You compromised us all, Heather!" Some in house squabbling started to occur over a few different things. What to do with Solara. How procedures should change. How weak and stupid Heather had been.
"Time's up, Heather. You know what has to be done." Oh, great. Her biggest 'fan' was putting his two cents in now. He moved forward, only to have Heather step in front of him. "I know!" Heather snapped as a small dagger was pulled out from behind her back. "I wish you were what we were looking for." It was almost an apology of sorts, or maybe that's what Solara heard in the tone of her voice. Or was it disappointment.
"I won't tell anyone about this place. Or about you guys. Magic's really cool." Solara moved left and right, trying to get out of the hold from the freakazoid behind her, before the sound of gunfire went off, making Solara scream and attempt to duck, as if hiding from an object that was determined on it's course long before it left the chamber.

Re: Solara and the Lancers of the Corona
It took Nyla a minute to realize why her childe was freaking out and then she just wanted to roll her eyes at the girl, though that would probably look weird given her current form. There wasn't much she could do without the ability to speak, but luckily Shan took care of that. Then Shan was looking at her childe and coming up with a whole new game plan - one that made Nyla want to cheer. She wasn't exactly fond of the idea of Pixie being up front and center, but the plan was smart. It made her **** her head slightly as she studied the other woman. She got the feeling that Shan wasn't exactly used to being the one coming up with the plan, but that didn't mean she wasn't capable of doing so.
She was trying to think of a wolf like way of showing her approval for this plan when the unmistakable sound of gunfire exploded her eardrums followed quickly by the smell of blood. They were out of time. All she could do now is hope the first shot hadn't been fatal. Hope that even though they were out of time, there was still time to save the human. There was no time for finesse or waiting.
The wolf bounded back the way she came, making no attempt to quiet the sounds of her footfalls or breathing. The only worry in her mind was getting there fast, not in surprising the enemy. The human who had shot still had his arm lifted - the gun still pointing towards Solara as she entered the area. The sound drew a couple of their attentions, though the one with the gun seemed to be more intrigued by the bleeding girl than anything else.
The wolf's teeth barred menacingly as a vicious sounding growl tore through her throat and filled the room. Short legs sped up even more, turning her into barely more than a blur until she launched herself directly for the throat of the psychopath. He might think he was the most dangerous thing in the room but he wasn't. Nyla was out for blood and she would get it.

Re: Solara and the Lancers of the Corona
Zelda glanced between Shan and the wolf. Nyla? ******* Nyla. Confusing, as per usual. Zelda could have an argument right then and there – could have asked how the hell Nyla was now a wolf, when she was a bloody can no more than two minutes ago. And to not be told. Zelda could have shot her! No words came out, however, as Zelda’s mouth opened and closed like some kind of fish out of water. And there was, of course, that envy again. Nyla could change into two animals. Not just one. TWO. And Zelda couldn’t even…
She harrumphed a sigh as Shan suggested a plan, and Zelda realised that getting angry at Nyla right now wasn’t particularly the best time. Time for that later. She supposed it would be best, yes, to figure out exactly what was going on – Zelda pressed her lips together and nodded tersely. Yes, she could do that. She could try to be stealthy. All the while, the voices in the other room were getting louder, more rowdy. People were arguing – it wouldn’t be too hard to surprise them, right? If they were all too preoccupied with each other?
The sound of a gun, however, silenced everything. The shot of it echoed throughout the warehouse; Zelda flinched, and it was as if time stopped. Her green eyes were wide, as all the implications of that single gunshot flurried through her mind, all at the same time. There wasn’t too much concern for whoever was on the other side of that bullet. Of course Zelda had met Solara, but had never actually sat down to have a proper conversation with her. Sure, there was a vague sense of foreboding, but the worry she harboured most was for Nyla.
Wide green eyes turned to the wolf – she didn’t have time to shout out, to tell Nyla to stop. The shout was only half out of her throat when she realised it would make no difference.
”There goes that plan,” Zelda murmured, rolling her eyes at Shan as she made to follow. There was no need for silence, and so she sped through the warehouse on thundering skates, leaping over fallen debris and skidding around corners until she reached the door that would lead through to the fray. As far as Zelda was concerned, they were all enemies, bar the wolf and the blonde she knew to be her sire’s thrall. She gave an almighty battle cry, banshee-like in quality, and threw herself at the nearest attacker.
Why the hell not, right?

Re: Solara and the Lancers of the Corona
Zelda had nodded to show that she could indeed be the sleuth Shan had hoped for. Shan clicked her tongue on the backs of her front teeth, her grip tightening and loosening on her gun again. She just wanted to shoot someone. To inflict pain, to see the life leave someones eyes as she stared into them with her cold blood red ones. As she gave a nod of her own, it was like her thoughts came true, hearing the gunshot and smelling the blood. She blinked. Looking down at her own gun, her original thought being that of that her trigger finger had gotten happy at the thought and squeezed; but it wasn't her gun that was smoking. And there was the scent of blood - that scent that drove her absolutely wild. She growled instinctively, fangs bared as her eyes scanned the area then snapped to the wolf that was Nyla. The wolf turned and ran, full force, back down the way it had originally come from, and Shan narrowed her eyes on it before it disappeared around the corner.
Shan swiveled her head to look at Zelda once the girl had spoken, the moments going by like molasses as she stared, then looked down to the loud skates as they followed after the wolf. Shan growled again. She had wanted to be the first one in the room, to be the one to wreak the chaos in the room with the humans. Humans. Shan licked over her lips, her hunger clearly getting the best of her as her grip tightened even more on her gun, the metal shifting against itself as she moved on auto pilot after the others.
Entering into the doorway after the other two had done exactly what she had wanted to do, Shan assessed the situation. There were five people in the room, and one of them was Solara. Shan knew the thrall but only as a face that she had been able to put to a name once, nothing more. She didn't understand why Nyla was so apt to saving this human that was hers - she was just a human! Shan tsk'd under her breath and tapped the nozzle of her gun against her thigh once before glancing between Nyla and Zelda, the way they had become banshee's in the eyes of chaos slightly amusing her. She slid her blood red hues to the other humans that were standing now, looking on the others in either shock, disbelief, or awe. After all, a wolf had just barged in fangs bared, and a vampire in roller skates to boot! The woman on the right started to pull a knife out from her hip holster, and Shan shook her head. Was she that daft? Clearly.
So she would have to act, seeing as how the other two were busy with their own prey - and how could she complain, with them leaving her twice the fun? Shan activated her power in mid stride, the battle slowing to a crawl as she leveled her gun and squeezed off two rounds, hitting the man in the thigh before she reached the female who had produced her knife and was drawing it back to hurl it at the wolf. Reaching with her free hand outstretched, she took hold of the women's striking arm and twisted, a sickly grin on her lips as she heard the fated snap of the arms bones giving way under her vampiric strength. The woman cried out, and Shan pulled her in close, not hesitating to sink her fangs deep into the woman's throat to hear her screams turn to gargled cries of her battle of life and death. Her hot blood poured down Shan's throat, and she tightened her grip on the broken flimsy arm that further crushed beneath the force.
Drinking until the blood no longer flowed, Shan released her finally as the now limp silent woman fell to the ground, having lost the battle for her own life at the tips of Shan's fangs. She growled, still hungry, but satiated for the time being. Shifting her eyes to the others to see how they had fared, assuming they hadn't died at the mere hands of humans, Shan grinned a bloodied smile that showed a craziness in her expression.
