Exactly what "heals" for a vampire differs between individuals. Some vampires have hair that always quickly grows back to the state it was when they died, for example, whereas some do not. With something like this, it's usually always writer's choice. However, yes I would imagine healing could definitely come into play, but it's up to you exactly how much.Kleo wrote:I apologize in advance if this has been covered before.
How long would a body modification such as a tattoo/piercing "last" for a vampire who does not have psychosomatic dysepulosm? Also, does the healing stat affect the longevity at all? For example, would someone who has 20 healing see their modification vanish (or whatever happens) faster than someone with 10?
Thanks!

It starts to attack the inside of the mother at the end of the gestation period. You could assume that it's in a calm or comatose state up until that point.Phoenix wrote:How closely would the symptoms of vampire pregnancy mirror human pregnancy?
At which point during the ~1 month gestation period does the little bundle of joy start attempting to eat/claw at mommy?
When it escapes the womb, does it magically expand into a full grown monster or is it just a rabid midget cloud of darkness?
<.<'
When it emerges it's slightly smaller than the largest they can be, but because they are in part spirit beings, they would emerge at a size much bigger than would seem possible, given the comparatively small size of a womb. Basically, as soon as they are out they are a very real danger to anything in their path, unlike -- for example -- the first form of the aliens from Alien.

Is an oez shard (team raid shard) for mastery?

That's not a canon questionMomento wrote:Is an oez shard (team raid shard) for mastery?
But no it's not. None of the shards currently available are.

It does?
Because now I think they are used for enchanting and I stand by the point...everyone would want one (pending it does something awesome, of course). Especially newbies.
Anyways. I won't say anything else in this thread, because it should be for canon questions, and I made a statement, but I don't think it solves anything.

Fade Portals.
IC I'm really not sure how to explain these nifty gizmos and what I'm super curious about is what the heck do humans know about them? They can see them on grid and use them, and even buy them and put them in their own homes. Plus if arriving in a square with celerity alerts people, why wouldn't popping out of a fade portal in the same square do so?
If this was covered before, I apologize but can't find it.

It's a manipulation of the SR. It's like, making a mini tear and then stepping through to come out elsewhere, wormhole style - but as quick as a click of the fingers type idea. Sure I read that somewhere before - but that's how I do it.

It just occurred to me as I started to roleplay with Suzette again that since I don't know when/if bringing back Emmanuel and/or any other Broussards is still planned, is there anything I should NOT be doing? Or is it okay to write about the family history and business however I wish without having to worry it might disrupt any cannon or future chapter(s)?

Re: Canon Q&A With David
He has a whole story/history on his CS that I wrote up and Yeketerina is still around too. There was a load of stuff on the board I did too, but unfortunately that got purged. Haven't checked the archive forum to see if it's there though? If you've got any specific questions about stuff he did - just PM me and I'll fill in the gaps. :)
