Digo's money comes largely from selling relics and businesses. He has approximately 2 mil in the bank, and he spends money quite steadily.

B&E is good if you're selling the right items on the Auction House. Back when Industrial Chems were useful, he made a fortune on that. If you're not selling on the Auction House, you're doing it wrong.

Combat is pretty meh. If you can take on bigger monsters, you can sell on the Auction House. You're not going to find the good stuff every day though: things like Fadeling Corpses always sell for a few thousand on the Auction House, but a lot of monsters are worthless. Combat, I find, is more about being in Raids than anything else. If you're killing Mooncalves and Dusties in the world, you're doing it wrong.

I can't really speak to Crafting, but I've made some decent money selling traps. That said, I use Mechanics for B&E to reach relics.

I don't know anything about Rituals or Hacking.

Oh I'm not complaining about any of this. My focus is totally on EXP gain over money, but with over a mil in her bank account, Nix manages to do just find with both. She may, on average, make about 3k/day, but with monthly relic sales/trades, she's well over that. But she's hardly the rule in the game. My other characters don't do nearly as well, especially Lamprey who's maxed out rituals and really has no use whatsoever for it. Ariel likely can make about 5-6k/day in stuff doing B&E.

I'm not actually trying to argue either direction here, I'm just pointing things out. <.<

Neither was I, dear. Just pointing out there was a con for every pro in the process is all and you are right, my other guys end up having next to nothing cash wise at times as well. Is all good.

It's a trade off. You can do things that level you a bit faster or you can do things that make you money a bit faster.

Hackers that are using source codes they find to make stuff, you're throwing away 2.5-3k for every source code used in exchange for that exp.

I've made upwards of 30k in one day selling source codes. Mad B&Es for them, the inspired thrall hacks for them.

The ways to make money are there.

Yeah, I refuse to use the AH at this point because of difficulty listing items. I sell directly to buyers for what I've been told are stupidly low prices and anything they don't want...goes to the shop because I don't want to touch the AH anymore.

I'll have to make some charries and do some research, but I actually disagree with the idea that fighting npc gives the best energy/exp ratio once you take in to account the energy burned from finding the npcs and am fairly certain that B&E gives a better return thanks to being able to waste little energy by knowing a string of buildings that one can hit.

I agree, although the recent change to B&E made it extremely more difficult for me. Only time I use the AH is if my charry is overburdened. >.< Most of what she gets in loot she gives away or trades. And she gives all the traps she makes away. If she wasn't always giving stuff away and lending money, Alex would have 1 mill EASY.

Of course the best combo of exp/loot is the Stealth Raids. I live for those, lol. ;)

And now that we can remove names we have listed on the violations list, I wonder how long until Blackmail because a part of Harper Rock's economy.
