Humans in the Sewers

Im wondering what people think about Humans AND Human classes (I.E. Sorcerers, Paladins and Blood Thieves) hunting in the sewers? Do you think that they should have to face the same risks as vampires? Do you think that they are already suffering in their stats enough and dont need the added worry of wounds while hunting? Do you think humans shouldnt but human classes should?

I didn't vote cus there was no option for my opinion.
IMO, humans with no path should not be, nor should human paladins or sorcerers. But I think blood thieves would be looked at as just as bad as vampires by hunters and paladin berserkers.

This is another one of those mechanic vs. canon issues, so right off the bat I want to go ahead and say from an IC perspective, I agree, it doesnt make sense for Zerkers and Soldiers to be going after other humans.
On the flip side, it is incredibly unfair that they do not. (erm did not?) Playing as Lazarus who has been able to hunt foot soldiers and zerkers proficiently since level 8 (mind you this was level 8 with nerfed stats) I always felt that it was kind of cheating to be able to take out those NPC's with out risk of a wound. The Zerkers and Foot soldiers yield some of the highest xp currently in the game. That high yield xp is in part balanced by the fact that they can and will give out actual wounds. Just to do Side by sides, Zerkers can yield 92 xp from a single kill. I believe Fadebeasts are in the 80's. They are both fairly rare (granted Fadebeasts I would wager are rarer) but Fadebeast's are much tougher than Paladin Berserkers yet still yield less xp because they do not inflict real wounds.
As it was humans could just stroll up to Berserkers, not have to worry about taking a wound, and just reap all of the extra xp, which really is just unfair.
As a side note, if they want to make this work canonically as well, (IE keeping it that Footsoldiers and Zerkers dont attack human PC's) they could always make it so that Hunters/Zerkers can't be fought by human PC's. Making it so the humans can get around in the sewers, but can not gain the buffed up xp.

I thought Fadebeasts did have a chance to inflict a wound, least they did when they came out, I remember getting a few wounds from them. Was also why fdebeasts could be summoned, cause they could attack people passing buy, like the summoned zombies.

I've never seen or heard of a regular Fadebeast attacking on sight. I could be wrong, but I have never experienced it on any of my characters.

No, the original fadebeasts just sit there and are super powerful. It's the summoned ones that attack on sight.

The hunters started attacking on sight after the hunter purge thing. But, there's no power that paladins possess which gives them the ability to distinguish a vampire from a human without fail, is there? They are just a little better at it than the other human classes. So perhaps humans should get attacked on sight by them, too. They'd assume that most normal humans wouldn't be wandering around in the sewers, unless they were working down there, and in that case they'd be wearing a maintenance uniform.

A Paladin would be recognizable by other Paladins via the tats.

If you have to get trained to be a Paladin by a Paladin, I'd assume that Paladins would keep track of who they've trained and/or have some kind of secret handshake/wave/sign to communicate. The NPCs are not shooting at each other when they pile up in squares <.<
It makes more sense to have them attack on sight if they've attacked hunters/paladins.
