Rock Bay Docks: The Meeting

DM The docks were usually busy this time of night what with boats returning from the daily business and tonight was no exception. Boatslip 10 was still empty despite that fact that some gathered around the place, knew a meeting was to happen on board in the next 30 minutes.

Alexandrea had arrived early and used alter ego to move into a dark corner on the deck of the boat and wait. The note had just said it was a meeting, not what kind. And considering the nature of the body she had looted the scrap of paper from, it could be Sorcerers or even Paladins. Or it could be nothing to worry about. Regardless, Alex took the cautionary route and stayed quiet in the shadows to wait and see what would happen.

Pi dArtois Pi held the tome in her hand, as well as the note that came with it. She wasn't a ritualist and she knew the tome should mean something and if it didn't she sure as hell knew the note did. She hadn't shared it that night in the Necropolis or in the QZ later but she knew it was important and someone should know. Keeping it to herself was a good idea and the more people she let in on what she held, the better. The shard, that thing Nix was willing to shoot her over stayed in a safe place. She hadn't figured out yet what it could do but she wasn't willing to bring it back out into public remembering that night and the look in the eye of the woman who threatened to shoot her in the head to get it.

Pi dArtois Tonight Pi dressed for trouble. Long black pants, cargos with clips with spare ammo hooked into the belt. This time she sported Stella, the custom rifle fitted comfortably along her back and the Enchanted sword in a visible sheath on her left side, crossed diagonally at her hip. Pi wasn't dressed for a casual night out at the bar and she learned from the last time that she had to come prepared for anything, so she did. Her hair was held back with a simple headband, holding her hair off her face so strands of falling brown locks didn't block her line of sight. This was the Pi she had always been, the killer, the fighter and the woman who had managed to survive a human life through her wits and unique talents.

Drusilla ‹Drusilla› Dru sighed, even though she had been invited, she really wished Kira was here with her but something came up. She held her jacket closer, feeling nervous about being here. Taking a moment to find the right boat, she stayed nearby and played a game on her phone so she wasn't just standing around waiting for something to happen.

Ripper spots Drusilla over on the adjoining pier. After a few moments he decides to stand up and walk over to her

Pi dArtois Alexandrea had invited her, calling her curious about the tome and it seemed like a good idea. Pi needed to talk to someone and Alexandrea had impressed her that night, with her skills defusing that situation with the armed soldiers in the sewers and later, in the QZ itself. If anyone from that night Pi knew she could talk to Alexandrea and maybe, maybe she could find out a little bit more about what she'd found. Not the shard, but definitely the rest. After the call Pi called Madison, the other family member (other than Elliot) who had been there that night. She told Madison about the tome and the note and what it said and in an effort to bring more people. So they agreed to go together, her and Madison. Strength in numbers and…. Well, it looked like Madison had already been invited. It was win win.

Ripper Alright, Dru.

Pi dArtois The dock smelled of the ocean, of rotting fish and shells left too long out of the brine that kept them alive. It was the salty tang that always lingered on the coast, it was the smell of the salty dog pirate and those who loved the ocean. She had never been brought up on the coast but she liked the lapping of the waves against the docks, the constant rush of sound. It soothed her except she wasn't sure anything would calm her nerves this night. The last time she was taken by surprise and didn't know what would happen. This time she was ready, prepared… for anything. Using her portal, with Madison at her side, the one that took her directly into the docks Pi surveyed the area, spotting Alexandrea and walking over to the woman with a small smile. she searched the shadows of the place, carefully, cautiously as she moved.

Ripper look, I wanted to know...are we good?

Alexandrea Alex was startled to be seen by Pi but smiled as the woman came over and waved her over into the shadows~

Shan The way her phone buzzed in her hand made her purse her lips. She didnt like it, but she didnt leave the ringer on at all. It possibly gave away her position, and she didnt like that. Standing and dusting herself off, she glanced to the fishing pole she had snapped over her knee about an hour ago and dropped into the shallow-y looking water. Glancing around to the few people that had walked past her, seemingly all going to the same boat slip that was empty. She eyed it, boat dock number '10'. Was there a Halloween party about to get underway or something? She was intrigued, enough to go stand near the group, though she stayed in her own little corner of the shadows. Maybe she would see someone she knew. Even if she didnt, she likely would invite herself to the party eventually. After all, tonight was the one night she didnt have to hide her fangs that were permanent. But as of right now she was waiting on a text from her sire; and would go meet up with her if she wasnt too busy. She hadnt seen Velveteen
in a few days and she was starting to be more and more irratible about the whole situation. A hand raised up to idly scratch at her neck as she swallowed dryly. Damn she was thirsty.

Madison Madison's mind was full of twists and turns, odds and ends that didn't make sense. Alexandrea had filled her in on what she had missed after leaving the Necropolis and then Pi had too. Neither one of them could tell her why it was that a group of humans seemed to be trying to revive the Crow. So Madison had called Blake and told him what was going on. About what had happened and the meeting that the three women planned to crash. He of course had told her that he would be there. All she had to do was mention the word 'tome.'

Madison Hours before the meeting was set to start, Madison sent her new friend down to investigate. She had gotten lucky in her summoning of a wraith and ended up with one that had formerly been a shadow and knew the importance of being stealthy. Madison knew that as soon as she stepped through that portal with Pi, Dame would be along shortly to let them know what was on the up and up.

Robert Pratt Robert wandered into the docks, totally unaware of anything that had been arranged or anything that was going on. He was just here for a bit of fishing and a relax. However the sight of everyone there in corners and around made his footsteps falter. Something was amiss here, and as he looked from face to face, he had no idea who to approach to find out wtf.

Madison Shortly after appearing in the Docks, Madison followed Pi's lead in approaching Alexandrea but was ever watchful for Dame. An odd shimmer of a shadow out of the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned towards it. Dame flickered briefly before speaking out, "The boat you spoke of is not here."

Blake Blake had received the call hours before hand from a very informative Madison. Tomes and shards and bloody men, it tickled the hermit shadows interest far more than anything else had. He had promised Madison his attendance if only to make sure she stayed safe and to learn what he could of these shards that had been popping up randomly about the city. Sitting in deep meditation in one of the far corners of the boatyard he didn't stir until he felt the familiar tug of his Wraith, Sir, vying for his attention. It seemed as if the night was about to begin. He rose slowly, his long coat hiding an array of weaponry that he prayed was not needed. He would be prepared though, however, if it was. He looked around and spotted Madison not too far off, alongside the telepath was Pi D'Artois and a blonde he didn't recognize who, from what Madison had told him, had to be Alexandrea.

Pi dArtois With Madison at her side when they entered the dock she took only a second to look around, frowning as she realised just how many 'other' people were there. Unknown people, which equated to unknown equations that needed to be carefully considered. Thinking on her feet Pi gave the tome she had picked up from the previous night to Madison, realizing she couldn't keep a hold on all the cards and it was better really, that someone other than herself had a hold of the items she had collected from the previous night. The note, the note she kept to herself the crumpled piece of evidence of the human's intentions sitting in her pocket. "Madison.” She said sotte voce, her voice low. "Could you hold this?” she offered the tome as a subtle (and direct) act of trust.

Madison The look on Madison's face turned quizzical as she questioned the space where Dame was, "What do you mean it's not here?"

Killian had been told about the meeting on the boat. The killer showed up, armed with a few weapons hidden upon his person just in case things went south really quickly. He spotted a couple of familiar people around, but few that he actually trusted. Zen and Madison were there, which was a good sign. He was sure Alex was around, too, and that she was probably the person he absolutely did not recognize on the corner of the slip where boat number 10 should be docked. He wasn't privy to the knowledge that anyone had gained at the last meet up, but that didn't mean that he would neglect to show up with the invitation he had been extended. However, there wasn't a boat where there should have been. He saluted Zen, and Madison, then gave a nod to Ripper. Upon seeing Robert, the Irishman grinned and stepped over to him. "Hey, mate."

Madison Madison turned to look at Pi, taking the tome she offered and slipped it into her bag, zipping it shut afterwards and gave Pi a nod.

Drusilla Dru laughed a little. "You're the one that had started ****. Stop pissing off my sister because of you messing with Alex for no reason. We're not good but I don't want to hit you anymore.." she said.

Ripper manages to pick up Alexandrea's trail! They are within the search radius.

Madison Dame's voice spoke out impatiently, "I mean it's not here. But there are tons of vampires around."

Oria Oria had gotten an email from Alex about a meeting that was to transpire this particular morning during the wee hours at the docks, and she was invited to tag along to offer any assistance she may be able to. She made it a point to bring with her sword and rifle, slung over the nearly empty backpack she almost always had on her. Black tee, cargo jeans, and a pair of black boots, her usual stealth gear, and she slipped into shadows before making her way to the docks. As soon as she entered she could smell that there were many of their kind there and didn't expect that she would be of much help. With the invitation though she would do her best to keep calm with all the people there. Sticking to the shadows she crept around the humans and found a nice spot to sit on the pier just a few feet away from the target boat. Stealth mode activated she thought to herself.

Pi dArtois Pi stared at Madison's wraith listening to her speak, her eyebrow raised in question. "Oui... there are... quite a few vampires around isn't there." she added curiously, moving closer to Alexandrea and putting her back to the wall so she could view as much of the dock, the shadows lurking on the edges, the wash of water disguising sound. Her gaze searched the space, spotting those shew knew, trying to remember the features of those she didn't. "Alexandrea." she said finally, pulling the piece of paper out of her pocket and handing it to the beautiful blonde. "Here.. you should read this. It will explain.. I think, what those men were trying to do that night in the QZ."

Robert Pratt A very familiar and recognisable voice spoke in his ear, and Robert couldn't help the frown that formed on his face as he turned to look at Killian. Nor the fact that his arms lifted to fold across his chest as the frown grew less and less friendly. He just looked at the man, the man who'd abandoned him and ignored him, cast him aside and forgotten him like the wrapper from a fish and chips packet. And he couldn't be bothered even speaking to him. He simply nodded his head by way of recognition and kept the hurt and pain inside.

Ripper was about to say more to the female when he notices Killian approach.

Nemesis It was almost three years since her mother's murder, and the anger only felt stronger with each passing minute. Maybe it was immortality, maybe it was the rage that had rubbed off on her from her dad, Micah. Whatever it was, it felt like a living, breathing entity. A being that had to be sated.

Zen While a few others began to wander, but Zen stayed still, alone. He knew something was going on, something important. He would observe, learn, act when necessary. No need to give away his motives for now. While vampires concerned themselves with others while he might be able to focus on whatever might happen. Perhaps tip the scales.

Nemesis The emotion was more difficult to deal with on nights like this. Halloween wasn't just Zoey's favorite holiday; it was the day after her birthday. There was never a year that Lizzie didn't celebrate it with her by taking her out around the town, and one of their favorite places to visit on those nights was the docks.

Nemesis It was one of their spots, full of memories that were slowly beginning to fade from vivid flashbacks and into an almost-forgotten part of her brain. Visiting here helped them come alive again, no matter how painful.

Nemesis Zoey Jane was lulled from her thoughts by the sound of voices and laughter around her. Turning her head, she tugged a purple bud from her ear and narrowed her gaze out into the darkness, seeking out the faces of those who seemed to be congregating.

Nemesis Hesitant to do anything but stare at first, the nineteen year old shifted her weight from one foot to the other, causing the wooden dock to creak gently beneath the soles of her tennis shoes. She hadn't expected to run into any company - but then again, it was Halloween. Sort of.

Ripper *returns the Killer's silent greeting, casting around about him, he notices the increased traffic coming through

Killian gave Ripper a quick look that said they would speak in a few minutes. Then, he turned back to Robert. Killy was hard to recognize, wearing a t-shirt, jeans, biker boots, and a faded black baseball cap. It was insanely different from his usual types of attire. "Robert.. I'm sorry that I haven't been around.. things have been kind of insane lately, especially with me running Fifth.."

Pi dArtois The piece of paper was small and on it the words were simple and stark, they said that they were trying to revive Crow, that the ritual they were doing that night would have, or at least tried to revive the ancient being they all knew (but knew not at all really) as Crow. She trusted Alexandrea with it, because what else could she do? It would need more than just herself with the knowledge of what had been tried that night and maybe, if they pooled their resources, they could finally, somehow figure out why... why they would try to revive Crow and what exactly, if they could, that these humans planned to do once they had. She waited for Alexandrea to read the note and to give her thoughts on what it might mean.

Ripper though he is still unable to catch sight of the woman whose presence he scented*

Alexandrea Alex takes what P i offers and reads it quickly and then frowns and hands it back, not knowing what to think.

Madison Nodding to her wraith, Madison spoke to her quietly, "Find it Dame, it has to be somewhat near." The wraith made no more sound but Madison knew she was gone. Turning around to face Pi and Alexandrea again, the blonde opened her mouth but quickly shut it as she caught sight of someone she'd rather not see. Robert.

Oria Digging her phone out of her pocket she sent Alex a text message. -- I'm here, just a bit away from where that boat you mentioned would be docked. We'll see how long I can stick around with all these people... --

Shan Her phone buzzed obnoxiously in her pocket, and she scowled, leaning against one of the large posts of the dock, smirking as someone mentioned 'vampires' in the group that stood at the slip numbered ten. So they were of her kind, she thought. How interesting, what exactly she had stumbled on. Who knew that fishing could lead to such an interesting find. She pulled her phone from her pocket and grumbled inaudibly under her breath. Clearly her sire was busy as she shook her head unappreciatively at the text. Thumbs moved soundlessly over the screen as she texted back. Seemed she would be sticking around to find out what this group of vampires was into on this halloween night.

Blake Blake knew that keeping his presence a secret wouldn't last very long and considering that the three women he was staring at held a majority of the information he was after, it was time to make introductions. Silent step after silent step he quickly moved across the docks. He caught Madison's gaze and with a hint of a smirk he stepped into her field of vision, purposefully standing between Madison and Robert, blocking her from seeing the other Shadow. As he closed the distance he spoke softly once he was within a few feet of Madison. "Well hello there beautiful, long time no see."

Pi dArtois Pi looked over at Madison, knowing the other woman knew what was on the paper and then back to Alexandrea. "What do you think?" Her attention diverted to the phone that rang, her gaze narrowing. "How many of the people here.. are invited?" she asked, needing to know... how many were here to help and how many might turn into accidental, or incidentaly collateral damage. Her gaze, narrowed as she spotted one of her own... but one who had been disowned. She sighed, knowing that with that one addition, this night would be fraught with.... drama. She stroked the hilt of her sword, the action reactionary and ... comforting.

Robert Pratt His eyes flicked around, sure that he'd smelt Oria's perfume heading by him a few minutes before. However there was no sign of her and he puzzled that one over. However, his attention was drawn back to Killian and a loud, snorting, scoff escaped his nose and lips as the man said that he'd been busy running fifth. "Well now, that would make a change. Wouldn't it."

Alexandrea Pi. Why would humans want to bring Crow back to life? And I did not invite this many..."

Pi dArtois Pi shook her head, pitching her voice low as the male came to stand with Madison, her attention diverted. "I don't know... why would anyone try to revive the Crow? If they are humans that tried... I don't know why they ... how could it help THEM?" she answered, the emphasis on the them... as if any human who tried was cause for suspicion

Madison A small smile spread across pale lips as a familiar form blocked her view of her sire. Focusing her attention wholly on Blake she closed the distance between them some, "I'm glad you came. Especially now."

Zen Had his efforts done anything yet? Zen could not tell. Spirits were always somewhere close, he could feel it. But his rituals must have helped... if not the particular entity that the humans were interested in. Well, there would be plenty more rituals ahead. Change was inevitable. The exact form of that change was not so important to Zen.

Pi dArtois Sliding a look to Madison Pi asked silently if the woman had any thoughts on what could be happening. When Madison spoke to the male Pi nodded in greeting. "Bonjour.. " she said softly.

Madison Catching what Pi was saying, she looked at her grandsire, "That's the million dollar question Pi."

Killian blinked a few times as his ears caught Alex's words on the wind quickly. "Did I just hear that right? ******* humans want to revive that Fae piece of ****?!" Killian was making a little bit of a scene on the dock, but with the sound of boats and work going on around the harbor, it wouldn't be loud enough to garner much attention.

Nemesis 's body went stone cold when she finally picked up a familiar voice. Though she would deny the fact, it caused goosebumps to spread up her arms and a chill to climb through her spine. Partly, it made her want to vomit. Swallowing thickly, Zoey flicked the butt of a smoked cigarette into the river and bent briefly to gather a yellow backpack and sling it over one shoulder. She made her way back to the other end of the dock, and though she attempted to be as silent as possible she couldn't help the way the dock groaned beneath her feet.

Madison 'Oh for fucks sake' Madison thought to herself as she heard Killian. Did he never know how to be ******* quiet? It was eleven at night, the dock wasn't that loud at this hour.

Pi dArtois She nodded, "Oui... it is. And it's why we're here." she finished, hoping someone... anyone could have something to add that would lead them to a place they could... find it out. "This ... boat, that we think is gonig to be here.... will that, will we be able to figure out something from them?" she asked.

Alexandrea Look, if the humans THOSE kind in particular? Want CRow brought back to life? It can NOT be good for us..."

Alexandrea When it gets here, we need to sneak on board. Quietly."

Madison You're kidding right? Madison looked at Alex. "Have you looked around here? It's like a vampire reunion..."

Oria She sat there with her legs dangling over the edge of the pier near where the boat in question should come and dock, listening vaguely to the many conversations that were going on around her and picked out a specific voice in particular. Robert? Her attention turned from her phone that was still silent in her hands and she stood, going over to where he and a few others were standing around, letting the shadows slip from her before prodding the man gently in the side. "Hey, you."

Alexandrea I meant just us..."

Pi dArtois She couldn't concern herself with the others, not right now. This thing that was happening, was happening to all of them. To every vampire this thing the humans were doing was important. It didn't matter if you wanted Crow back or not, the fact anyone was trying, the fact humans were trying meant that they all had to deal with the potential that if they succeeded an ancient foe would walk again... The problem there being, who thought him foe and who thought him.... friendly. "Oui," she answered Alexandrea. "That is what I think too... but how do we.... know?"

Zen Zen found himself nodding in agreement with Alexandrea before he realized it. His positions were not the biggest secret to anyone determined to find out, but there was no need to make it easy for outsiders to grow suspicious of him.

Drusilla Dru raised an eyebrow. That was some information she didn't know. She moved closer to that group, hearing Alex's voice now but couldn't see her. "Alex?" she said. Crow back to life?

DM The boat began its approach and as it did so a few men, dressed as dock workers, approached to greet it. It was entirely possible that the men were just there to tether the boat up to the dock but then if any of those from the other night were paying attention they may have noticed that the small group of three men were all of oriental descent, just like the sorcerers they had fought and killed before.

Shan She quirked a brow. Oh, now that was way more interesting. She stared at the male who had been overly loud, and blinked. That would be something her sire would be interested in. She couldnt help the smile that spread her lips as she flashed fangs at the group. Loking down to her phone, she texted several people quickly, one of them being Zoey. She knew the woman was on the bridge, and she figured she could use the facetime if she was truly trying to get in good with Ty.

Pi dArtois Pi turned and watched the boat moar and then her gaze switched to both Alexandrea and Madison. "Is this?" she asked, leaving the question hanging.

Alexandrea Dru, I'll explain more later. Just be very quiet and try to get on the boat before anyone spots us"

Killian looked at Robert and shrugged a bit, then toward Madison, Alex, and Pi. "Do you think we should go join that litt-- Oh, Oria, hello! Long time no see. We need to have a chat to catch up soon. I'm gonna go sneak over to the girls and see if they know what's going on."

Blake Hearing the tail end of the conversation between Alexandrea and Pi he looked over at the Frenchwoman as he kissed Madison on the cheek. "The Fae are not just limited to us Ma'am. Nothing says that vampires are the only ones to have made contact with...other entities. When it arrives I suggest not rushing to action." He paused as he noticed the boat beginning to pull in. A finger went to his lips as he wrapped an arm around Madison's hip and simply began to watch the scene unfold.

Alexandrea Yes, let's try and get on board"

Robert Pratt Robert blinked at Killian's comment, having entirely missed the conversation happening elsewhere. "Wait, wait wait. Killian. What the ****? The humans want to bring back Crow? He can't be brought back - he's a figment of someone's imagination that they dreamed up to control the masses....." He didn't get much further because just then, there was Oria. He grinned happily at her appearance and wrapped his arms around her tightly. "O! Blessings of the Light be upon you, how are you dear?"

Pi dArtois Pi knew from the previous night that she needed to take her time, and this time, there would be no guns blasting. With a look to Madison she slipped over to the boat, moving silently. She leapt in an agile movement of her body landing on the prow, the front of the boat barely moving as she made her way on board. Dropping low Pi looked aft, her gaze narrowed and waited for the others to follow. Looking behind her she saw Alexandrea also board the boat and another woman she didn't recognize. Holding steady she waited for any others to join them, keeping herself low and out of sight.

Alexandrea Alex takes a deep undeeded breath and climbs aboard after winking at her friends...

Alexandrea she takes it slow must quickly finds a place to hide and wait for others to catch up to her and Pi.~

Pi dArtois She thought about pulling the shadows around her but thought better of it. The others needed to know where she was and it wasn't in her best interests to go invisible where no one could see her. Instead she waited patiently, like she had that night in the QZ. To fight too early meant you could lost the opportunity to find something interesting, hear something necessary and to alert their presence to those on board could spell… disastrous results. Crouching next to Alexandrea Pi tried to assess where they were and how many were on board, her gaze always moving, trying to pick out the shadows that were just shadows and what could be somethign... more. Nothing jumped out at her, nothing she could put her finger on and identify. Yet.

Shan Pocketing her phone, Shan nodded once as if that was good enough information for now. She could always fill in whoever got there out of the three she had texted, and silently she crept behind the group that had gathered and managed to inform her that humans were trying to raise Crow. Why the hell? They all seemed to have the right question, what on earth humans would gain from Crow being ressurected? She shook her head and silently, quietly and as stealthily as possible slid onto the boat after the others had. Crouching down and sticking to the shadows, Shan eyed the others who had gotten on the boat, and looked around trying to assess the situation.

Killian nodded to Robert and started to slip over to the ladies, when he saw them sneak onto the boat that had just pulled up to the dock. The killer instead went to a different boat and acted like he was interested in un-mooring it. He knew better than to draw too much attention to himself when there were allies of his on-board a mystery boat nearby, after all.

Alexandrea Alex quietly whispers to Pi... "can I just mind speak to you?"

Ripper *still not sure exactly what was going on, Ripper decides not to get caught up in the detail and move along with the action. After hearing the outlandish talk being spoken avout the Crow, he needed to see where this was going**

Pi dArtois Pi nodded, "Oui, but I can't... reply in my mind." she replied in a low pitched answer.

Oria Her arms wrapped around Robert and returned the hug, pressing a kiss to his cheek with a grin. "Good to see you, and you as well Killian, and I'm doing alright... despite all the people here, I'm holding together." Shrugging half-heartedly she allowed them to return their conversation, even helping them along. "So, wait, people are trying to bring Crow back? This doesn't sound like a good idea..." She watched the few people who were able to silently sneak aboard the boat in question as she spoke. If she had been paying attention properly, which was difficult to do, she may have followed. Not completely ruling this idea out, she stood there and waited, wondering what was going to happen next.

Nemesis gave a small squeak when her phone went off, quite loudly. 'The Fox' played for no more than a few seconds before she dug out the device from her back pocket and flipped it open. With a wince, she quietly hoped that the talk of the people all around was enough to drown out the sound. Violet hues made a quick pass over the text she received from Shan, and then, 'brows raised, she began to spin in a circle as if looking for someone. After a minute, she sent a text in reply. ~i'm here already? there's a lot of ppl. what's going on??~

Alexandrea That is fine. Do you know ASL?* Alex sent to Pi

Nemesis But Zoey saw perfectly what was going on when she approached the side of boat number ten. Was she supposed to get on board, with -them-? Sighing, the girl held tightly to the strap of her backpack and began to follow the other women in tow, making her footsteps as light and quick as she possibly could. Unfortunately, in trying to be speedy, the toe of her sneaker caught on the boat's ramp and she met the ground with her face. The loud 'thud' of her body and belongings slamming into the wood made the men aware of her presence.

Alexandrea Startled at the thud, Alex grabbed Pi's arm... "oh ****.." she whispered...

Pi dArtois Pi signed back yes and then also no, to indicate those being the only things she could sign and then moved her hands in directions, like those used in the military to indicate direction, stop and go watching teh woman to see if she understood.

Killian looked around quickly to see if there was anyone close. That's when he spotted Ripper, and got an idea. He called over to the man. "Yo, Jack, get your *** over here and help me un-tie this! I swear to god, I will leave your *** here and go fishing by myself if you don't pull your own weight." He hoped the man got the message, and Killian knew it was a good idea to have someone else nearby to help provide cover if things went to hell in a handbasket.

DM The attention of the small group of ‘dock workers' is caught by a ringtone going off but they were too focused on their mission to worry about it for long and quickly dismissed it as being unimportant. Then came the sound of someone falling and this did draw their attention. "Hey. Are you alright?" one of the three asked the girl.

Alexandrea Alex gave Pi and smile and nod, to sho she got it and sent to her again. *thse dudes look a lot like those others... do you know hwo that is?* ~points at Zoey~

Pi dArtois Pi signed stop and down at Alexandrea and the other woman who had made a hash of getting on board. Watching the dock hands follow the girl Pi indicated that her and Alexandrea try to move forward, indicating the front of the boat the a hard gesture of her hand and shook her head in negative at the question then signed no.

Drusilla Dru was so far behind the group, she wasn't as sneaky as her sister but she made her way onto the boat. "Alex..?" she started but put her hand over her mouth and sent a message to her mind asking where was she on the boat.

Robert Pratt Killian just.... wandered off without a word and Robert raised an eyebrow at the rude man that had changed so much in the last few months. And certainly not for the better. He looped Oria's arm into his and patted her hand gently, knowing what she was like with large crowds. He watched the direction Killian had taken and then watched as others began to climb onto the boat. He still had no idea what in the hell was going on, but the thought of people trying to raise Crow sounded ritual like in nature. And of course, this intrigued the hell out of him. He tugged on O's arm gently, indicating that perhaps they should move closer to what was going on. Just so they didn't miss out on anything.

Ripper *answering Killian's hail, Ripper pulls closer to assess the situation. A brow quirks upwards as he hears Killian's request* Untie?

Alexandrea *Dru. This way by the ropes* Alex sent back

Ripper draws a blade and slices it heavily into the knotted cords

Hour change

Nemesis , the perfect diversion. The girl blew a thick strand of hair out of her face and looked up just enough to see her cell phone, its screen cracked and badly scratched. Like most teenage girls, that was one of her first worries. When she heard an unfamiliar male voice, though, she squeezed her eyes shut and quickly tried to formulate an excuse. "I'm... I'm just a little disoriented," she stammered, whilst trying to push herself up onto her feet. "This isn't boat number fifteen, is it?" she asked, biting her lip in the most innocent way as she peered up at the man.

Blake Blake sighed softly as he looked around at this group of vampires that was supposed to be working covertly to uncover the plans of humans with, for lack of a better term, super powers. They were amateurs at best. A few were capable such as Madison and Pi and, it seemed, Alexandrea but the rest were simply...well...to be frank if Blake could have put a bullet in to each of their skulls and gotten away with it he would. This, in his opinion, was the issue with vampires. No one worked together unless each personal was personally gaining something. No one did anything for the sake of the community as a whole. It all seemed personal on every single issue. He let his thoughts wander as he too took a few steps closer to the three dockworkers. Containment was goal number one. The people on the boat could sit there forever, it wouldn't matter if they were incapable of leaving and that was exactly what Blake planned on preventing.

Pi dArtois Letting the other vampire create a distraction Pi decided. Pi crab crawled forward, not waiting for Alexandrea to follow but hoping she would. In the back of her mind she wondered where Madison was and determined to keep an eye out for her family member, not wanting to leave her behind but knowing the woman would catch up. If they needed to get into this boat then Pi needed to take advantage of the opportunity of being on the boat and as yet being unseen while there. Pushing herself over the buoyancy tanks Pi held a steadying hand on the gunwale as she crept along. The bow was at her back and she moved stern, trying to keep low. The problem with moving on a boat was the fact it was so easy to be caught out, if someone looked out the portals on the side or made a single round if anyone was on watch. You had to keep low and you had to keep moving, it would be nice if she was in Shadow and for just a moment she considered doing just that. Taking the time she tried to pull the shadows around her, looking behind her she held Alexandrea's eye, trying to convey silently what she was trying to do before making the attempt to go invisible.

DM "No. Boat 15 is over that way," a different male replied.

DM He points in the direction she should go.

Oria Leaing her head down on the mans shoulder for added comfort, but also so that she was able to whisper into his ear. "You know, I could throw you up there, and we could find out exactly what's going on... then I can jump aboard, both hidden in shadows? Sound like a plan?" She had been invited to a meeting after all, and though a meeting had happened, she didn't suspect that's what Alex had been talking about. Curiosity had taken her here, and like a cat she wanted to follow after the rest of the group.

Shan Shan had been there for a minute, trying to catch fish to fill the fishtank that Cartis had randomly handed her while in the raid a few days back. Reeling in her line at the sharp tug, she narrowed her eyes and cussed at the seaweed she had caught. "Dammit!" She snapped the fishing pole over her knee in an instant, clearly purterbed. Shaking her head she dropped the broken rod to the water and sat down in a huff, pulling out her phone to text her sire. They were whispering. And then there was Zoey, face-planting on the boats ramp. Shan facepalmed, drawing her hand down slowly which stretched the skin on her face that she was shaking idly from side to side. Wonderful

Drusilla Dru looked around, it was a boat. There were ropes everywhere. She should have brought her wraith. She carefully makes her way over to where Alex was at, letting out a sigh.

Alexandrea As soon as Dru was there, Alex grabbed her hand and folloed Pi

Killian sighed in slight exasperation as the mooring for the boat was sliced. He looked at Ripper and whispered. "We only needed to act like we were taking it out to go fishing, so that we didn't draw suspicion just standing around. I wanna find out what's going on, and provide some fire support for the girls if things get dicey. Looks like we've gotta take the boat now.. but that means we can get around to the other side of ten, and slip into the water and swim, letting this one drift if you want to try that out. It's up to you."

Nemesis frowned gently, tucking her phone into her back pocket before brushing her hands off on her jeans. After seeming to hesitate for a few moments, she gave a sheepish look. "Could you walk me to it?"

Ripper "Look, mate, I don't know what you're doing here; but what it looks as if to me is all the action is heading on that way

Ripper jerks a thumb

Robert Pratt He nodded to Oria and grinned, pointing to an open window at the end of the boat that seemed to lead inside the belly of the boat. See what I see O? Round the back? Both in shadows, my uninvited guesting, you throwing me in and then I can summon you up after me? Then we're both in and sorted. Right?"" "

Shan They were whispering. And then there was Zoey, face-planting on the boats ramp. Shan facepalmed, drawing her hand down slowly which stretched the skin on her face that she was shaking idly from side to side. Wonderful. And then the other two were on the move, and Shan followed as per the first ones militaristic commands that were silent. She knew the commands well as she had been a soldier at one point, and she blinked as her phone buzzed in her back pocket. A little late on that one Zoey, she she thought silently. She watched the man that asked Zoey if she was alright, and silently wondered what Zoey would do. Hopefully nothing too rash? She knew the woman wasnt brazen or stupid, so she trusted Zoey wouldnt be silly about the situation. She watched Pi carefully and gave the woman a swift nod as if to silently tell her she would follow her lead. After all, they all had the same agenda, right?

DM "I can't miss. Sorry. I have a job to do," with that the three men boarded the boat, as s small group of 'fishermen' cam to meet them on deck.

Ripper if you want to sail out and stick close I'm gonna take a butchers about around what's going on

Oria A devilish grin spread across her features as she pictured his idea going down without a hitch, but knowing that there would probably be at least one or two of those. "I'm game when you are!"

Killian Mate, I'm Irish, not Cockney. I haven't the slightest what the **** you just said.

Drusilla "Eek.." Dru squeaked when she was grabbed. "Where we going?" she asked softly.

Madison Madison sat back with Blake, watching all that was going on. She knew she wouldn't be able to get down below without being invited so instead she spoke telepathically to her wraith, "Dame, the boat is here, I need you to go on deck and watch what's going on for me." To Pi, she said, "Pi, I'm staying on the dock but Dame will be coming with you."

DM There were now 6 men on the deck in total and they were seemed to be facing one another off. They all looked around suspiciously and came closer together. They stood either side of a table and began speaking in hushed tones.

Nemesis gave a huff and placed both hands on her hips. "Well fine, then," she muttered beneath her breath. Zoey slowly spun back around to the way she'd came, digging her phone back out and wiping dirt from its screen. "Oh, man..." The screen was salvaged just enough that she could make do. Pulling the text message from Shan back up, she tapped out a short text. ~didn't make it.~

Pi dArtois Pi tried but Shadow powers weren't her thing, they weren't her normal path and with a frustrated growl she knew she didn't succeed in pulling the powers around her. With a sigh that meant she needed to move forward, fully visible and realised that this, was not going to go easily. But when did it ever. Waiting for Alexandrea Pi kept moving forward. IT seemed like they were working together and Pi breathed a sigh of relief, between the woman and her boat 15 and the two men who were arguing about what to do (easily picked up with her vampiric hearing) she hoped that they would cause enough diversion to let both her and Alexandrea in. She waited for the woman, looking behind her to see where she was and what she was going to do then spotted the other two women who came after and gave them a nod too. They would move together all of them and seeing how she seemed to be in the front Pi made the move forward again, trying to stay small, trying to keep her movements tight and controlled. Rounding the boom
she peeked around the cockpit checking to see what was there.

Pi dArtois Pi nodded as Madison spoke into her head, hoping the woman saw, but not sure if she did. Instead she held her breath at the sight of the six men, counting them off with a sigh. Sneaking, might not be an option but they had to try. She looked behind her and indicated a hard down signal to the other woman, waiting for their agreement before trying.

Alexandrea *Just wait and watch* Alex sent to Dru and moved with Pi as quietly as she could~

Ripper just heave to and sail casual, but don't look like you're trying to sail casual

Madison Upon getting Madison's message, Dame hurried back to the docks from over the water. Quickly she found the boat and circled it, watching the vampires move forward she decided to sneak up on the men who were talking in attempts to hear what they were saying.

Pi dArtois Pi waited for a signal from the other two women before trying to curl her way around the men standing, all six of them. They needed to do this together and move as a team and that meant Pi had to be sure they were with them, looking behind Alexandrea Pi raised her eye brow in question. Nodding to them, an emphatic gesture of go or no go.

Shan Zoey had tried her best to lengthen her distraction, and it worked. The group had successly made it silently onboard, and without being seen. Her phone buzzed off again, and she clenched her jaw. Pulling it from her pocket she typed the fastest text she could to Zoey and tucked her phone back into her pocket. Coming up behind Pi she blinked at the six men talking in hushed tones. If only she could get closer. She noded at Pi but wasnt sure if she would be able to get below deck or not - either way she was happy with where she was. She would find out something tonight of use, she was determined to.

Alexandrea Alex nodded to Pi and sent to Dru. *Move when we do*

DM The men began talking about payments and a delivery; both sides assessing if the other had what they had come for and neither wishing to go first and reveal such important information. Eventually a compromise was reached and 2 men from each group stood back from the table, leaving the ‘leaders' to broker the trade like gentlemen.

Drusilla Dru nodded, and waited for the time to move.

Madison Dame stayed close to the two men at the table, wanting to hear what would be said. Looking up she tried to see where the vampires were, hoping they wouldn't pick now to launch an ambush without knowing what was going on.

Nemesis Stay put for -what-, she whispered to herself. The girl peered around and, not seeing anyone that was of particular importance, she moved to sit beside on of the empty boats and light a cigarette to pass time.

Shan The henchmen stepped back from the table and Shan made note of who the leaders were. She would stalk them to the ends of the earth if she had to in order to figure out exactly what was going on. They were outnumbered, sure, but they were also vamps and there were mere humans, right? She had no idea though what she was really up against, and decided not to jump to any conclusions.

Ripper using his abilities to stow away unseen, Ripper circumnavigates the talking men while they complete the negotiations.

Killian nodded, then hopped onto the boat that he and Ripper were standing next to. He then held out his hand, like he was waiting for Ripper to get onto the vessel as well. At the same moment, the Irish killer removed his phone and sent out a quick text to two of his contacts. Madison and Robert. The same message to both: 'Game plan?'

Robert Pratt He nodded his head and waited for Oria to throw him. He felt her hands on him as she picked him up - surprising for someone of her size - and then he was flying through the air. However, he was off target and she'd not thrown him towards the window... instead, he was aimed at the side of the boat - where he splatted like a fly on a windshield, slipped down the side, and splashed into the water.

Pi dArtois Getting assent from all Pi listened, so close to one of the men she felt like she could just reach out and touch them. But she wasn't, it just felt like that, like days of old when andrenalin spiked as danger moved just out of reach, the status quo balancing on a knife edge. As quietly, as stealthily as possible Pi slid around the edge, trying, trying very very hard and very very slowly to not garner attention. Pulling up short Pi looked behind her at the words of the men now wondering if they should stay and listen, a moment of indecision saw her attention waver. But they had come this far and they were vampires. Setting aside indecision the continued, she wanted below and inside the boat.

Madison Her phone vibrated in her pocket and Madison quieted it quickly before pulling it out. Instead of replying via text in case he hadn't shut off his ringtone, she replied via mind speak, "My wraith is on board, I'm still on the docks."

Nemesis jumped at the sound of a thud, much like her own impact but... somehow different. She turned halfway to see where the commotion was coming from, but only saw ripples in the water where Robert's body fell in. "Huh."

Alexandrea Alexandrea waited to get a signal from Pi but also kept her attention on the men, watching to see if they noticed anything and hoping to overhear something~

Killian blinked as he saw Ripper walk away from the random boat, then shrugged once... and caught Robert's face-planting act. Killian knew the man's phone would be ruined, so he decided to start the small boat he was on and go in for a pick-up operation. He got Madi's reply, then sent one of his own. 'Alright. If you can, let Alex and Pi know that I can be ready for ex-fil if they need it.'

DM The dockworker pulled out a phone and began tapping away. He was queuing up a wire transfer as agreed, while the other guy produced a pouch from his left inside pocket. Both placed their items on the table at the same time and slid them across to one another. The fisherman who was obviously a smuggler on the side, pressed to activate the transfer while the dockworker, opened and closed the pouch without showing what was inside.

Alexandrea Alex was thief by nature... she saw that pouch and wanted it. If only she had a hide in shadows.... she didn't know what was inside. Just that she wanted it.~

Pi dArtois More things on the table, more items that looked like they were important but Pi had no idea what they were. Pi stopped short, pulling up and looked behind her quickly, motioning towards the table. Motioning Alexandrea forward she nodded towards the table and what lay there. She signed the word ‘yes' hoping Alexandrea knew what she was talking about.

Madison Another text from Killian. Madison focused in on Alex and spoke softly within her head, "Killian said he is ready if you guys need him."

Alexandrea Alex tilted her head to the side. Was Pi telling her to take the pouch? Hmm... it was tempting. Could she do it?

Shan was curious. She eyed the transaction, then eyed the pouch. She wanted to know what was in the pouch. What could possibly be worth all this..... effort. She chewed on her lip, not really wanting to go below now. She wanted that item. But how was she going to get it? Eyes looked wide at Pi, then the other woman. She nodded at Pi. She wanted that item. She indicated a fist against a splayed hand, surely they could take them, if they stealthily took out the four guards first?

DM With a handshake the deal was done. The smuggler handed the phone back to the dockworker and nodded for his men to follow. With that they disappeared down below, leaving the three oriental gentlemen to make their way off of the boat.

Ripper *trying to find an out-of-the-way crate, the killer uses the blade of his knife to attempt to pry away at a wooden slat to peek at what's inside*

Madison Dame followed the men quickly down below, not wanting to miss a moment of anything they may talk about.

Re: Chapter Sidestory: Two Masters (Live Chat Event 2)

Post by Keara Aithne »

Blake The consolidating targets would make things that much easier in the long run. He hoped Pi and Alex and the rest were doing just as well on the boat as he was about to be doing here on the pier. He was trained for this as a human, and now he was a vampire, being a sneaky little ******** was just part of the job description for him. He looked around and wondered just which vampires present had any sense of subtly and tact. He watched Robert get catapulted in to the side of the ship, another woman faceplant on the pier...how much more entertaining could this get? Blake moved closer to boat in question as the three oriental gentlemen made their way off, a nod at Madison to give her the go ahead if she needed him to act.

Alexandrea Raised eyebrow, she was miffed for a moment but ready to follow the men... whatever was in that pouch, Alex had to know.

Oria Hefting the man into the air wasn't the hard part, AIMING was the hard part. Her eyes widened when she realized the man was not going to go for the window she had been hoping for and she cringed when he slammed into the side of the boat, off the side, and into the water. "Son of a..." she growled under her breath before slipping into shadows and leaping aboard the ship.

Madison Madison looked to Blake and nodded back, ready to move against the oriental men if that's what would be needed.

Pi dArtois Pi looked left, out over the water, past the inky darkness broken only by the wavering light of the after hours lights that lit the rickety wood of the floating dock. Looking down into the water she tried to spot the sound that had come earlier, the big splash. Seeing nothing. She watched as the men went below and breathed out. So down it was, into the boat where the men had gone. It would be a tighter fit and once they got in, if they got in, it would be too tight to stay undetected. Rolling her shoulders Pi crawled around the boat and leapt nimbly down and tried to enter the boat below.. Trying not to be seen, trying to keep low, she knew the other women would follow, because why else were any of them her.

Pi dArtois It was time to go, down into the boat and as one, well, she hoped as one, they moved forward. The four women, joined together as allies in this moment, to save Crow, to not save Crow but in one mind to find out what the hell was going on and what in the world those items were that seemed to be so important, and worth.... so much to these people.

Alexandrea Alex was right behind Pi and stuck to the shadows like glue.

Killian pulled his boat as close to Robert as he could without being too close to the boat, and waved for the man to swim over to the stolen boat. He killed the engine to it and just sat there, floating in the darkness and waiting in case he was needed as an escape route, and to also help his friend and blood brother out of the freezing wake.

Nemesis held her breath when she saw the men coming back off of the boat. With a single side-step, she placed herself out of sight behind the adjacent boat. With her increased hearing abilities, she closed her eyes and opened her ears, so to speak, and hoped to pick up on any conversation that the men might have.

DM As the three men stood upon the dock once more, there was a sudden flurry of excitement. 5 vampires dropped out of shadows, 2 grabbing one man, 2 grabbing another. The third male, the leader, holding the pouch handed it over to the 5th vampire who promptly teleported after saying, "You know what to do."

Nemesis opened her eyes and slowly took a peek around the boat she was semi-hidden behind. When the vampires appeared, Zoey slapped a hand over her mouth to keep a gasp from slipping past her lips. ****, oh ****, she thought. Part of her wanted to stop them, to see what was in that pouch. And that part of her slowly began to dominate everything else. Slowly, she slid a yellow strap from her shoulder and set the backpack down on the dock by her feet, then used the same hand to ensure her gun, Prophecy, was tucked safely away. With a click, she turned the safety off - just in case.

Pi dArtois "Who the hell was that?” Pi said, watching the unknown vampires take the pouch and make off with it. There was nothing she could do about it now, nothing she or anyone else could do to stop what had happened or to see what was in that pouch, all they could do now was … well, go below and see what the hell the smuggler had to say, or to garner more information.

Blake Blake watched as the five vampires dropped out of the shadows. What. The. ****?! Instinct told him to move. Training told him to move. Surprise stunned him for all of about a moment. Looking around he prayed to whatever powers that be that we wasn't going to be alone in this. Placing his hand on the hilt of his sword and readying himself for action he looked at Madison from across the pier. Even as good as he was an eight on one fight was NOT going to go in his favor and chances were that pouch was not just going to be handed over without an issue. That pouch was an answer to one question or another and the inquisitive mind required answers.

Oria Oria's eyes widened as she watched a group of vampires she didn't recognize drop out of the shadows that she was using to conceal herself and essentially mugged three of the people who had been on the boat. Summoning Robert a single moment after and hoping his sogging wet clothes wouldn't draw too much attention to where she was hidden. She wasn't even sure what was going on... but it was something and it definitely had her atention. The words spoken before the man teleported away caught her ear and confused her further.

Pi dArtois She didn't mean to speak, but she had. Closing her lips on a clamped thin line Pi pulled herself down, crawling down into the bowels of the vessel, moving like liquid mercury.

Robert Pratt Robert was hidden in shadows, so he could only guess that Killian had found him from the ripples in the water as opposed to anything else. He got out of the water and quickly summoned the globe light in his hand to use it's heat to dry him off before he froze to death. As he grumbled to himself and didn't offer any thanks to Killian. However his eyes caught a scuffle on the docks and blinked. Someone was in trouble. He summoned his powers to him and tried to teleport to the dock from the boat, hoping it would work better than the damn throw had.

Pi dArtois (I'm going to wait for the other three women to join Pi before doing anything else RPwise))

Alexandrea ((waiting on a pm from Keara))

Madison Watching the scene unfold, Madison did the only thing that came to mind right away. She knew the orientals were more than likely sorcerers and by the way these other men appeared and one disappeared so quickly, she knew they were vampires. She focused quickly, one after the other after the other, neutering one sorcerer and two of the vampires from their powers.

Shan Shan pulled her phone from her back pocket and her gun Anguish from under her shirt. She wanted that pouch. She texted Zoey with one hand. Guys with pouch just left boat. Need pouch."" She instructed, hoping the woman would do her best to stop them. She followed, then seeing the five vampires. She bit into her lip. What the hell? She walked right up to the group, tucking her phone away. ""What is this all about anyways?"" she flashed her gun, showing them that she wanted what she wanted. ""Hand that over."" She insisted, one hand splayed. "

Drusilla Dru followed after them, wondering what she could do to help. Blind these people? Her eyes widened when the vampires showed up, one taking the item they wanted and disappeared. This just got more complicated. She looked to the other two, what were they going to do, try to get information out of them?

Alexandrea Alex hurries to catch up with Pi, having been distracted by the appearing and disappearing vampires.

Robert Pratt One minute he was on the little boat, then he was on the deck of the ship he'd tried to be thrown to and then his teleport worked and he was in the middle of the vampires who were holding the orientals.... hostage? "****...." He was dizzy and he felt sick from the bouncing around, and he was in the middle of god knew what. However, he had the element of surprise, so he set about trying to save the orientals from the vampires. After all, he was Robert Pratt - he had to save the humans. Right?

Madison Madison is on the dock, between the exit and the boat with the sorcerers/vamps between her and the boat. She has just mind blocked half of them and plans to leave the mind blocked sorcerer alive but not the rest. Dame is still below deck with the others))

DM While the action is going on outside, a small group move inside to question the smugglers. Not being the sort to want to lose their lives for someone else's business, they fall for whatever tricks the women use and tell them the pouch contained a blue and purlple stone that wasn't worth nearly as much as the oriental guys paid for it.

DM The vampires give no answer. Instead it's the dockworker that speaks while the two being held captive scream abuse in another language about him being a traitor. "We don't answer to you lady. What business of yours is it who we are?"

Pi dArtois Pi swore pacing away from the men who so easily spilled their guts she could only determine that they were exactly as they seemed to be. Opportunist, people that sold things but had no real idea what they were doing. They were the green house keeper who had no idea that selling someone that much hydroponics and lighting couple possibly be used as a weed garden (and not the good kind of weed). These men had told them exactly what they needed to know, and it felt like they had failed. The man had teleported and there wasn't anything they could do about it.

Oria Oria was about to spring into action and do... something, when she was suddenly no longer where she'd been a moment ago and instead was back at home, in the crypt she'd left not too terribly long ago with Mischa. She was still hidden in shadows, however, but this matter little as her wife had summoned her away from the action. [[ Gotta go guys. Have fun!!! ]]

Robert Pratt waits to see how things go on the dock as per last post

Alexandrea Pi, I say we search the place. We can't follow the ones that got away... and I am sure there have to be clues around.

Alexandrea Dru? Can you read thier memories? Are they holding anything back?

Shan Shan doesnt even blink. She raises her gun and shoots at the group, activating her feral mutation as she hopes Zoey is around - though it wouldnt have mattered. She doesnt care at this point if she gets shot or not, she just needs to get some answers. Maybe if one of them were disabled and in pain they would give up some details, so she doesnt make any shots with her deadeye power. Yet.

Pi dArtois Kicking the ladder leading up to the deck of the boat Pi floundered for what to do next. This was a dead end, and much like any dead end that meant she was standing at a cross roads of ‘go forward' or ‘go back'. Forward right now seemed like searching the boat for something, anything that could be a clue, but instinct told her that they woudn't find anything, but they had to try. They were here, they needed to be sure and she had left enough people outside, people she trusted (Madison) to take care of what happened there. Nodding to Alexandrea she joined the woman in searching the boat, turning the damn thing upside down in an effort to find something, anything, or nothing at all. But at least they would try.

Nemesis emerged from behind the other boat, both arms extended in near-perfect shooting posture, Prophecy loaded and ready to be fired. Zoey Jane stared intently at the remaining men on the dock, her stance stern and not near as timid as she had made herself appear minutes ago. "You have thirty seconds to tell me who the hell you are."

Drusilla "That's a good idea." Dru replied, she looked at the men and looked through their memories.

Killian started the boat he was on once more, or at least, he attempted to. The damned engine was flooded, apparently. That meant that the killer dove straight into the water and swam as fast as he could to the dock. He climbed out onto the jetty, snarling and dripping wet, when he saw vampires holding humans hostage. The man was about to pull his own pistol, when he saw a vampire he hadn't met attack the group. He dove at her instead, intending to use his Bone Crusher power to cripple the crazed woman.

Ripper shoots a text to Madison. *can you mind block those still on board?*

Blake Blake smiled, almost on the verge of laughter as he watched the two women engage the group on the dock. A use of powers, the drawing of firearms and the issuance of a threat. A good start, a bit hasty but not shabby in his mind. However, two vampires against two sorcerers and four other vampires...this was going to be ever so interesting. He hoped they were worth the blood used to turn them as he moved forward, one hand holding a very large revolver. He would remain silent and do his best to remain out of the line of sight of the sorcerers and their captors as he waited for opportunity to present itself.

Drusilla After a moment, Dru shook her head. "Nothing else.." she said.

Alexandrea Dang... " Alex huffed and kept searching~ "Pi, you find anything?"

Nemesis 's eyebrows raise as she notices bullets being fired before she can even get out the last of her question. And just like that, an all out brawl is happening before her eyes. And that girl... She looks familiar. "God damn it," she hisses, taking a few steps forward. Zoey slightly lowers her aim, lining her sight up with Killian. She doesn't want to wound him badly - just enough to catch his attention and, maybe, get him to back the hell off. A nice groin shot would do. Steadily, she squeezed down on the trigger.

Ripper uses the surrounding chaos of the moment to procure an item he'd been seeking earlier.

DM One of the vampires moved to kill the sorcerer that had not been mind blocked just as Robert stepped in to help. The other pair ripped through the second sorcerer before he could even so much as summon up the ability to defend himself. There now stood 4 vampires and 1 sorcerer, all 5 ready to fight their way out if needs be.

Pi dArtois It was an effort in frustration, even though it was a necessary evil. Pi kept a close eye on the smuggler but the smirk on his face as he watched her move about the cabin told her all she needed to know. She wouldn't find anything. He was too relaxed, too calm. If there was something to find in the underbelly of this boat he would be quieter, watchful. She would be watching him for signs of nervousness as she neared certain parts of his boat. But there was nothing for her to see, no guilty body language. Instead she found fish, barrels of them and with their find she found herself smelling like it too. With fish there were maps, maps of where to find more fish and a book, black and ratty that had women's names of them and statistics that could only mean one thing. The man like big tits and he described each women by their attributes. Big titty Tabitha. Little titty Mona. Droopy titty Bernice. Throwing the book down Pi stalked to the ladder annoyed and ready to get the hell out of the place. There w
as nothing on the boat, nothing that meant anything. What they wanted, what they needed had already left. And that too, annoyed her no end.

Killian managed to step to Shan's gun arm quickly, with one of his arms grabbing hold of her wrist with one hand and slamming upward force into her elbow with the other, immediately breaking her arm with his Bone Crusher power. He had no idea a weapon had been aimed at him, but that slight distraction would hopefully be enough for Robert to do what he could to help. Too bad the Killer hadn't noticed the two sorcerers had been murdered. It meant that the bullet that struck him in the leg now was for less than it could have served.
Robert Pratt His eyes flashed around, the vampires obviously surprised by his sudden appearance, as his own shadows fritzed and dropped as he lunged at one man holding an oriental. He could see there were others approaching now, guns drawn, and he knew other vampires weren't like him - especially two in particular that he spotted. He knocked the vampire holding the oriental to the ground and his hand went to his pocket, withdrawing, he held his business cards and stuffed a couple into various pockets of the struggling oriental, looked him in the eyes and smiled, then teleported him away - into the middle of the city to save him. Leaping to his feet, he was up **** creek. The vampire he'd stolen the oriental from was approaching him with hatred in his eyes. Then there were the dead orientals lying there and he mourned them - ignoring the fact that the 4 vampires were now approaching him, encircling him and trapping him in.

Alexandrea Dang it. Nothing. Not even anything worth stealing. So... now what?"

Pi dArtois Pi looked back at Alexandrea and motioned up. "We go up.. and see... well, from the noise, we go see what is happening ..." she motioned with her hand. "What is out there oui?"

Alexandrea Let's go. Maybe we get in on some action and loot some bodies."

Alexandrea ~winks~

Pi dArtois Stepping aside Pi motioned for Alexandrea and the other woman to go first. She was, quite frankly annoyed and cranky and with a thin smile she nodded at Alexandrea.

Alexandrea Alex was felling pretty moody herslef and rested her hand on the hilt of her beloved sword. It would be fun to slice and dice something right now... she hurried above deck and waited~

Killian He managed to step to Shan's gun arm quickly, with one of his arms grabbing hold of her wrist with one hand and slamming upward force into her elbow with the other, immediately breaking her arm with his Bone Crusher power. He had no idea a weapon had been aimed at him, but that slight distraction would hopefully be enough for Robert to do what he could to help. Too bad the Killer hadn't noticed the two sorcerers had been murdered. It meant that the bullet that struck him in the leg now was for less than it could have served.

Robert Pratt Robert continued to ignore the vampires, instead focussing on the bodies of the fallen humans - as he had no idea what a sorcerer was, and so thought them mere humans - he dropped to his knees beside one and began saying a prayer to Lux over his body. He pulled a rune from his pocket and placed it in the mouth of the man, believing it would help the spirit of the man find it's way into Lux's embrace. He couldn't help but be curious however, and as he said his prayers and blessings - rummaged in the man's pockets to see if anything were there. His actions had obvously confused the vampires approaching him, as he'd not felt the sting of a blade or bullet entering his body - but he paid them no heed still.

Nemesis gave Shan and Killian a menacing glare, much like the look Micah had given her and her siblings more than she could count. Hopefully, her bullet slowed them down enough that they could see the -bigger- picture here. As she moved closer to the center of the action, she took aim again - but this time, it was for the remaining sorcerer's kneecap. She wanted him immobile, but alive. Without waiting to see if she hit her mark, she loaded another round of bullets into Prophecy and took aim for one of the other vampires. "Like I said. Who the hell are you people. Don't make me repeat it a second time."

Killian The Irishman howled out in quick pain, but drew his pistol from the small of his back and started to aim. Glock, Model 18. Fully automatic, 9mm weapon. Extended snail magazine modification held 100 rounds. "Robert, down!" Killian yelled out, just before he began to open a spray of weapons fire to provide cover so Robert could get out unharmed. He wasn't aiming at any particular vampire, or trying to even cause any actual wounds.

Shan Not seeing the male coming at her from the water, she practically ran right into the guy and his clutches as his immediate grip beared down on her arm. She heard bones cracking and breaking in her right arm as she didnt cry out - she could handle the pain... but she looked over to her arm and pursed her lips roughly. Her elbow was facing the wrong way. Her bone protruded from her arm, and she stared for a moment, then snapped her permanent fangs at the guy who had broken it.

Nemesis tore her eyes away from the vampires when the sound of gunfire ran all around her. Zoey ducked immediately, and crawled to where the fallen sorcerer was sprawled, one knee done in enough that he was unable to walk. Zoey's voice was hushed, but loud enough that the man would hear. "If you answer my questions, I'll keep you alive. Got it?"

Shan Teeth gritted as she pushed him off her, putting her foot to his chest and kicking him back as she focused on shrugging off the negative effects of her now broken arm. She had heard the gunshot and she looked to who had shot the gun, hitting a knee and reaching to push the bones back into her arm and then pick up her gun with her left hand. Good thing she had dead eye, though right now she wasnt sure she even wanted to continue the fight. What was the point, if others were going to step in her way? She looked to the girl who had shot the male that had attacked her and growled. Of course it was Zoey. Great. Now she would have to 'owe' her one. She rolled and took cover, watching Zoey in the midst.

DM The guy laughed. "You keep me alive? Not an issue miss. My path has been set by Crow himself, nothing you can do is going to change that."

Madison The dock had turned into a flurry of weaponry, bullets and death. Madison hit the ground quickly when she saw Killian start shooting wildly at anything and everything.

Alexandrea Hearing the gunfire Alex rushed to the side and then jumped (superjump) on down, looking for Madison, Blake, Zen and KIllian.

Pi dArtois Pi followed Alexandrea and the other woman out, her movements reluctant and crabby (if movements could be termed crabby) and she waited on deck, watching the scene below her as it played out. She shoot her head at Robert and his praying and realised sometimes that things, people didn't change, not that much anyway. His prone place on his knees next to dying (or dead) humans was exactly where she expected him to be. Very slowly, she pull Stella from the holster on her back, the stretch of her right up fully extended as she released it from its well word sheath. Very slowly she pulled it up to her shoulder, fitting it snuggly and stepping forward she used the side of the boat to hold her position steady. She wasn't a sniper, it wasn't how she was trained. She was a close combat specialist, quick, agile and smaller guns that fit into her hand were her forte. "MADISON” Pi called. "Can you move in if I give you cover” she finished, motioning towards the sorcerer. Lifting her gun she fired… at Robert. The closest to the person of interest. She fired, the shot going a little wide and hitting the pavement beside her blood thief childe. A warning shot? Maybe, something more? Maybe that too.

Alexandrea spotting Maddie, Alex made a beeline for her friend to make sure she was unharmed.

Robert Pratt He ducked down at Killian's voice and felt bullets fly over his head, making him flatten even further against the ground. As his head rested against the body of the human he'd been blessing, something vibrated within his coat. Curiously, Robert reached in and found a phone, flicking it open he saw there was a text message being received. A text message about another meeting. He needed to be there, he needed to warn them about what had happened and what was going on. Movement to his right showed him Zoey, or Nemesis - whatever she was calling herself these days - huddled over the sorcerer he'd thought was dead before. "****!" He muttered, finding himself pinned by an unfriendly vampire who seemed intent on ripping his head off. Quickly, he pocketed the looted phone and then tried to deal with the vampire on his back before his head was detached..... there wasn't much he could do, and he was sure this was his end.

Alexandrea Pi's voice rang out and Alex kept low, avoiding fire. She had the urge to kill something... ~

Nemesis narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean? What does Crow have to do with any of this?" she hissed out between her teeth. Chaos ensued around them, but it didn't matter to Zoey any. She simply lifted her hand and pressed the barrel of her gun firmly against the sorcerer's temple. "Don't think I won't, asshole."

Pi dArtois Pi took aim again, hoping that Madison heard her but not knowing if she did or not. She was in the zone, looking for cues and nodding to Alexandrea as the woman left and maintained her position on the boat. She sighted another target, Killian this time and looking down the barrel of the gun she took careful aim, this time adjusting for the gentle roll of the deck, her stance relaxed, her body still. Very slowly, very intentionally, she pulled the trigger. "Killian.” She whispered, looking to distract, to call off. She smiled as the bullet found its mark, pulling back and nodding to herself. "Je suis desolete mon ami.” She whispered.

Drusilla Dru went up the top level, she had lost her group yet again. Gun fire...she was better with blades as her sister taught her. She stayed down low, trying to find a safer way to the action to find out what's going on now.

Ripper *seeing the violence start to break out, and fearing the remaining hostage would be killed in the struggle before having a chance to be properly interrogated: Ripper chooses this moment to intervene*

Shan Shan glanced around at everyone with blood red hues. She shook her head. This wasnt getting anywhere, she was sure. Hopefuly Zoey was getting information out of the male as Shan watched with amusement towards how the girl demanded for it with his life at her fingertips.

Alexandrea Reaching Madison, Alex saw her friend was alright and nodded towards the closest target. "tag team?"

Ripper breaks out of his hiding spot and approaches Pi, the closest vampire to be threatening violence and reaches out to toss her overboard

DM "Crow has everything to do with this. Why do you think we are here? Silly vampire. His message is clear and our intent true."

Madison She heard her name and lifted her head up to see Pi shooting....at Robert? Looking around she saw Alex moving low against the ground towards her slightly. Even though she hadn't heard what Pi had said completely, Madison pulled out her gun and started to rise to her feet as quickly as she could, nodding at Alex. "Just one thing first." Aiming carefully at her sire, Madison pulled the trigger.

Pi dArtois MADISON!” Pi called, her voice ringing out, wondering where in the hell the woman was. Maybe she had taken the shadows and wrapped them around her. Maybe she was going to move forward and was only waiting until the right moment. Except Pi was working in the dark, her expression tense. She wished Madison would talk to her, speak to her and tell her that she heard her. Pi hoped to god she wasn't just shooting these people out on the deck for nothing and creating enemies when there was no need. This time Pi covered Alexandrea, choosing another target, the one who got on the boat with them. This time she pulled the trigger again, slowly, just as intentionally. Pi watched the bullet lodge into Shan her smile widening, blooming across her face as the bullet found its target. Sorry mon ami.” Pi said again, for a moment, feeling just a little bit guilty for shooting someone who not minutes before was an ally on this mission. Pi cleared the way for Alexandrea and Madison. Two down.

Shan Shan now not only had a broken arm, but was shot in that arm's shoulder as well. Well ****. She scowled. Clearly she was no longer in this fight. She flailed and then slumped, tucking her gun in her pants behind her. She needed to talk to Zoey. Hopefully the woman would get the info she needed. They needed.

Killian The killer felt the round tear into his stomach, then, and howled out in pain. Then his zombie constitution kicked in, and the Irishman's attention turned from covering Robert, to looking around at who had fired at him. There, he saw with a gun drawn was... Madison. But she would never even think to fire at Killian. Not far from her, however, was Pi. And that ***** had shot him plenty of times before. He turned and began spraying rounds at the woman, while screaming at Robert. "Get the **** out of here! Mourn them when we're not being shot at!" Killian heard a clicking noise, then, telling him his 100 round magazine had just run out of ammo. He ejected it from the weapon, then slammed a regular 33 round magazine into it and switched from automatic to semi-automatic fire, preparing to pop off sporadic rounds for cover.

Alexandrea Alex watched in disbelief as Pi begana shooting wildly from the boat, first Robert and then Killian and now the woman she did not know... and now Madison was aiming at Robert? What had happened to make everyone so trigger happy against each other? W eren't the humans here the targets ?

Pi dArtois From her position on the deck Pi saw Robert pocket the phone, her gaze steely and with a voice she projected, yelling across the way to the women who stood there, Alexandrea, Madison and the only other woman there, who had joined her on the boat, who was, she decided, immune from her gun. "ROBERT!” Pi yelled, "Robert has something in his pocket! It might be important.” And with those words Pi shot again, this time aiming for the woman, the poor helpless one who called for Boat 15. She thought maybe she should have shot at Robert again, although it seemed Madison had him covered quite nicely. She saw Shan clutch her shoulder and this time, when Pi shot she tried for the leg, incapacitating the Boat 15 brunette. "Jesuis desolete… mon ami” she said, and shot, her gaze sharp and narrow and concentrating very very carefully.

DM OKay if you need to talk it out with other players. Go ahead. But most of you now your results now and the RP can begin. If you want to continue a fight one on one, same info, just change between physical and reactionary for the rolls depending on whether or not you are attacking r defending. If defending a successful attack, the attack hits where you want instead of where the player intended. You are still wounded. ))

Ripper *latching a grip down over her outstretched limb, Ripper twists his body to the side and hurls the smaller vampiress off the side of the boat*

Madison The weapon kicked back into her shoulder and the shot buried itself into the dock a few feet in front of Robert instead of into him. "****," she mumbled and then heard Pi screaming her name again. Seeing that Pi was making a path for them, she looked towards her sire and heard what she said this time, just as Ripper threw her overboard. Before turning to Robert, Madison shot at Ripper and missed. Goddamn her aim was off tonight.

Ripper steps in front of Madison's unchambered gun, holding up both hands palm out to either side and trying to catch her eye and placating

Nemesis frowned, the confusion evident on her features. The way this man spoke... It wasn't good news. It wasn't good news at all. At a loss, Zoey brought one hand up to press the tips of her fingers to the sorcerer's temple. Eyes closed, she concentrated and prying into the man's mind -- his memories. Through all the muddled images that skimmed through her like they were her own, one thing stood out. A crow. She knew in her gut that its presence was somehow significant, but when she tried to stretch her mind deeper into his memories, she was met with a mental wall. And just like that, she drew herself back and snapped herself into reality once more. "You saw it," was all she could think to say. With that, she brought her arm up and quickly back down again, using the butt of her gun to knock a blow across the man's temple.

Ripper Don't shoot, you fool! otherwise what all is the point of it here?

Robert Pratt Robert managed to get the damn vampire off his back with a quick roll and an elbow roughly into the man's kidneys. There were bullets flying at him and luckily - missing. He'd had enough, and with Killian's shouted words ringing in his ears, he gave up the night for lost. He dropped into shadows and ran, teleporting and making himself untraceable. He'd heard Pi's words, he'd seen the smoke from her and Madison's guns. **** them. They weren't getting him or the info on the phone. Bitches could swivel on his middle finger. And so, Robert was gone.

Pi dArtois Pi was too busy concentrating on what was going on in front of her, too busy dealing with the mass of moving bodies on the deck to realise that there was someone sneaking up on her and it wasn't until she was airbourne that she swore under her breath, tucking her body to cushion the fall. She attempted not to roll because she was wearing a damn sword and sword are not the kind of weapon you could roll with, not if you didn't want to get stuck like a suckling pig on a voo doo spit. Instead she fell, stumbled, fell near head first protecting her gun more than she protected herself. "MERDE!” she yelled.

Alexandrea Tonight was a waste, was all Alex could think as she debated between going to see if she could help Killian and standing by Madison's side as her freind faced Ripper.

DM As Nemesis goes to strike him, he sees the blow coming and cuts off his flow of Chi just as her blo hits his temple. This not so simple act ends his life and the body drops to the floor.

Blake Blake watched the carnage unfold and it wasn't until he heard the yell from Pi, before she was subsequently thrown off the boat by Ripper, that he decided to act. A shot fired from his revolver at the Robert. If the man had information that would lead to answers then it was up to Blake to slow the ******** down as much as possible. The shot rang out but Blake was too slow, Robert vanished before the shot could connect.

Ripper *SPLASH*

DM While the group faught amongst themselves, the remaining rogue vampires, decide to fade into shadow and get the hell out of dodge while the going is good.

Ripper finally places the familiar scent with the faux features that had Alex's face hiding behind. His eyes narrow in recognition.

Pi dArtois She guessed it was one of the downsides of shooting people. You invariably were going to get shot back at yourself, unless you were smart enough not to and considering she'd just been tossed off the boat like a sack of grain it was pretty clear that Pi hadn't been all that smart in this event. She was stumbling to a shaking stop when the bullet hit her, the impetus of the bullet whipping her around shoulder first until she spun on the spot like a top. She had time to see Robert shadow but not to see how he got away but it was clear he had. Robert was the king of avoidance and the super king of being hidden and with a grunt of burning pain Pi let her body drop to the wooden planks of the dock, her left hand (the only one free) prop herself up so she didn't' fall flat on her face. Looking up, her position prone she searched for Madison to assure herself the other woman was safe. "Dammit…” she muttered.. "Robert has the…. Whatever the hell that was.” And knowing Robert had it meant that she ha
d a **** show on this side of hell of finding out what that was going to be.

Alexandrea Alex finally decide to help the wounded, going firsst to KIllian and asking if he needed to be heald.

Ripper lowers his arms, having not been shot full of holes yet.

Shan Shan got up and growled. This wasnt going as planned. She needed to find -something- out. She ducked and rolled, trying to make her way to Zoey, trying to figure something out. She came up on Zoey and started to search the body.

Pi dArtois With a long sigh Pi pulled out her tome, realizing that staying, was not a good idea. Looking at Madison Pi nodded, assured the woman was okay and pointed to the tome she held, the generic one she knew the other women held as well, to get them home, into the Den. And then she used it, with a small nod to Aledandrea and the other woman from the boat and with little looks for the others who were there (most she had shot at or tried to shoot) she left.

Ripper tracks for the last missing vampire that had escaped.

Ripper The target is not in search area.

Nemesis yelled out a few curses when Pi's bullet became lodged in her shoulder. She hissed beneath her breath as the blood soaked through her shirt. But she couldn't return fire just yet - she still had a job to do. Nudging the body over onto its stomach, she patted the sorc's pockets until she found the victim's phone. Before anything else, she unlocked the screen and peered at the last page that had been pulled up. There was no useful information - just evidence of a money transfer. "God damn it..."

Alexandrea Hey, Killian..." Alex said as she reached his side~ "do you need a healing?"

Killian A shake of the head at the offered healing, before the man growled as he saw Pi disappear due to her use of a tome. But a spot of blood on the ground gave him a small comfort, knowing that he had hit his mark. "Nah, Alex, I'm fine. But when you talk to that *****, Pi, tell her next time, I'll be aiming for her face." He started to limp over to where the woman with the broken arm, then sighed a bit. "Sorry I had to do that, but you were shooting when there was still a chance we could have gotten information out of them."

Ripper *growls* it's not too late...

Shan Shan looked over to Zoey. "Anything good?" She asked, surveying her wounds. Damn crazies. She was only trying to get information from stubborn people who were asking for it. She shook her head. "Who the hell was that chick shooting me?! I thought she was an ally. And that guy.a... with that phone... who was that" She asked idly, scratching at her throat. Damn blood was everywhere and she was ******* hungry. She glanced at the guy who had broken her arm. "Mmn. Sure, keep thinking that." She shrugged. Seemed like a friendly enough answer. At least she wasnt drawing Anguish and pointing it at her temple. She was too thirsty.

Alexandrea Following Killian, Alex questioned; "Anyone here have need of a heal? Or can we try to work togethr and find out wtf went on?"

Ripper takes off after the fleeing Rouges

Alexandrea sees Ripper going and wonders what he is up to..

Nemesis slid Prophecy into her holster and pushed herself to her feet. After tucking the sorcerer's phone safely in her bra (can you blame her?), she glanced over to Shan and frowned deeply. "No," she lied. With Robert around, Zoey had no idea who was Solace and, therefore, who was anti-masquerade in their midst. She held out a hand, offering to help the woman to her feet. When she heard Killian speak, Zoey Jane turned to him and gave a scowl. "Pi, as in Pi d'Artois? That's who that old hag was?"

Nemesis eyed the body on the ground as Shan asked yet another question. Who was he? Well, that would be helpful, wouldn't it? "I don't know, but I sure as hell would like to find out. Which means we need to figure out where those others went."

Blake Blake holstered his weapon and nodded at Alexandrea. "If we're all done shooting each other then perhaps we can figure out what the hell went on?" He called back his wraith and looked to the two women huddled by the dead sorcerer's body (Shan and Nemesis). "You two, is there anything over there? Be honest, I severely hate liars. Besides, we're better off working together than separately." He wouldn't admit though that he would be all too happy if Robert ran off to the next meeting alone and got himself killed.

Shan Hey, I could use a heal. She took the offered hand and stood, reluctantly. She was wounded. And thirsty. And was aggitated. "Shan. Vel's childer." She introduced formally, "Im the one who texted you." She drew a deep breath and shook her head, shrugging again. "Yeah, we do... and I'm not a tracker. At all. Im a killer. A horrible one, apparently." She scowled. Yeah, she was having a Shan moment. Which was broken by Blake. She shook her head. "Nope."

Alexandrea Hello Shan

Alexandrea ~heals her~

Nemesis blinked gently. "Zoey Jane. But you can call me Nems, or Zoey. Either works." Once Shan was steady on her feet, Zoey looked at her shoulder, where blood seemed to be pouring from a bullet wound. "*****..." she mutters. Without looking up at Blake, Zoey drew out her phone and began tapping out a text to three people: her father (Micah), Velveteen, and Shan.

Nemesis He was a sorcerer who made some sort of money transfer. That's all I know.

Killian Killian picked up the empty extended magazine that he'd dropped on the ground, then, and slipped it into the pocket of his jeans. Those bastards were expensive, and incredibly hard to acquire in Canada. Then he heard Shan speak and make mention of her sire. "Velveteen's childe? She have you brainwashed into loving that Fae?" Then, the leader of Fifth Column's attention turned to the question that was posed to him. "Yeah, that was Pi d'Artois that was shooting at literally anyone that was on the ground. Including her own childe."

Nemesis Nnh...

Drusilla Dru came out of her hiding spot as the gun fire stopped. This hadn't gone well. 'Alex, I'm going to try to explain this to Kira. Please come talk to us later.' she sent before teleporting from sight.

Killian "... You too, huh?"

Nemesis Hag is gonna get a bullet in her skull when I see her next.

Shan She was healed, and she nodded in thanks. Now everyone knew her name, but who were all these other people? "She doesnt own my brain, if that is what you are insinuating."

Killian "Well, that's good to hear. I'm Killian. We should talk philosophy when you're not a wounded mess."

Alexandrea So it looks like we learned nothing from this..."

Killian The wounded Killer produced his phone from his pocket and dialed a number that he had known off the top of his head quickly, trying to get ahold of Ripper to see where the man had gone, and if he needed any support in the matter.

Nemesis sent the text, then gave Shan a brief, but stern glance.

Shan Shans phone went off and she pulled it from her back pocket. Reading the text she smirked and nodded to Zoey. "C'mon, we should go catch a drink or something." She was thirsty, so thirsty.

Alexandrea "Seems a real waste of time and much blood for naught."

Nemesis nodded, then was just about to tuck her phone away when the blonde spoke. "Hey, we weren't the ones who started shooting our own people."

Killian "Nobody said we didn't get any info at all... Hey! Hold it, you two."

Nemesis ... What?

Alexandrea Does anyone have any ideas? or should we just scatter before the cops sho up? Yes, Killian? What did we learn?"

Blake A shake of his head and a sigh as he felt his trigger finger feeling a wee bit itchy. He felt anger rising and nothing but hurting someone would suffice. Heaven help the first human he saw when he left this hell hole. "Right, well, everyone continue playing your political games. I'm going to go track down those vampires and help them bring back Crow then shall I?" He looked at Alex and smirked. "When you live in a world surrounded by self-serving leeches, don't expect much else. Just because you and I share knowledge freely does not mean others will do so."

Alexandrea "Blake. You have a way to find them?"

Killian "I saw you next to that Chinese lookin' dude before he died. What the hell did you learn from talking to him? I couldn't hear it over the sound of making sure those other five guys didn't decide to blow you and Robert's fuckin heads off."

Blake "What do you do whenever you need information or something illegal, Alex?" He paused and lowered his voice. "If those were Sorcerers then chances are they are working with Paladins. Who is to say that the ruse of being a vampire traitor and a ritual expert wouldn't buy me an in road?"

Nemesis shook her head. "He didn't talk. Whatever he was hiding, it was worth dying for."

Shan Shan growled and turned on a heel, moving to walk away from the guy who had broken her arm. "C'mon Zoey, lets go feed." She scratched at her neck.

Shan *with her good arm's hand*

Nemesis looked to Shan, then back. "Wait," she said, moving toward Killian. She tugged a pen from her hair bun, then grabbed the man's hand and began to write on it. "This is my number. Shoot me a text, and if I find anything, I'll contact you." [zoeyjross]

Alexandrea Alright Blake. I game. Tell me if you find them and I'll have your back." ~There was no way Alex was going to let him bring Cfow back to life if she could help it~

Shan Shan didnt wait, but she slowed her walking pace a little.

Alexandrea Dark nights and much blood to you ladies." Alex called out as they left.

Killian The man nodded to her in return, then blinked. Ripper hadn't answered his phone... because Killian's phone was destroyed from diving into the water to swim back to shore. "Well, looks like I'll have to actually write this one down somewhere."

Blake Blake smirked. The devilish grin on his face that only evil incarnate could wear and Blake wore it oh so well. This was a man that was conniving and wicked yet beneath it all there was little more than pure evil and malice at this point. "If anyone else learns anything please inform me. There is quite a large cash reward available to anyone that brings me information about this deal I don't already know. If you need to contact me simply leave a message at Veil Tower." The devil had laid out his deal and slowly stepped towards the bodies of the sorcerers. It was time to clean up the mess.

Nemesis Right.. She nodded, then spun back around to follow Shan off the docks. Before they made it past the next boat, she ran over to her backpack and swung it over her shoulder. "My bike's parked a block or so away. C'mon." With that, they were gone.

Alexandrea We should all be getting out of here. Those gunshots must have been reported by now..."

Alexandrea What are your plans, Blake?"

Killian "Alex, you have a point... I'll be over at that place near Thornside Park. You know the one. Keep me updated on developments?"

Blake "Me? I'm going to go kill something after I dump these bodies and then I'm going back to Veil to indulge in one form of sin or another." He smirked as he began a quick pat down of the Oriental men, with nothing else of interest on their bodies he would roll each of them in to the river.

Killian Killian gave a nod to Alex as she left, before he activated his Celerity power and disappeared from the dock as well for the night.

Blake Blake shrugged as everyone else took off. Irresponsibility seemed to run rampant in the city as of late. After disposing of the bodies in the river, the Shadow smiled at a job fucked up but a mess cleaned up. Pulling a tome from behind his back he spoke a handful of words and vanished from sight, the magic of the tome returning him to Veil Tower.
