[tCotR] Niko Katic
It was no surprise to her that suddenly a long list of rogues had started popping up on the bounty list. The city had been in utter chaos for so long that the only real surprise was that this had not happened sooner.
Rolling her eyes, she called out for Megan before settling down in her favorite comfortable chair to check out this "Niko" fellow whom she did not know.
Though her opinion of telepaths was quite low, do to the many eccentricities they displayed, the abilities that she had trained for were quite useful. With but a blink of her eyes she could delve into the individual she was seeking and find out not only what bloodline they belonged to but who were their closet allies. She always waited on Megan before she began such endeavors, due to the fact that the inherent flaw to these mind powers were that she could easily come out of the trance forgetting the information. With Megan recording, it kept her from having to redo the previous mind reading.
With Megan settled in, she traveled over the threads that linked this Niko to the city and a minor sneer settled over her face. It belonged to Enver. No great surprise there. Beside Robert Pratt,, he seemed to be one of the general trouble makers when it came to obvious rules of the Masquerade. A brief frown passed over her face as she remembered the relation he had been to her after sweeping Lelantos off her quite sensible feet. Thankfully the Docere woman had come to her senses it seemed, but that brief time had been quite distressful for all the Docere of coherent mind.
With the facts recorded, she slowly came back to herself, stretching out limbs in order to reacquaint herself with body movement quicker. It seemed this male was a rogue and had not had much contact at all with his sire or anyone else for that matter. Nor did he seem as if he had integrated with anyone of vampiric society. In fact he seemed to be trying to make a movie or do something with a "hollywood" faction. Whatever that was.
Regardless, these facts meant that perhaps he would be easier to take down then the first rogue type she had tried.
"Megan, do stock up my motorcycle with my usual tools, and I believe I will need one of those tacky club outfits Prudence conned me into buying before. At least they will come in handy for tracking this male down."
With a firm plan, she went to do up her make up to a lower standard in order to lure the male outside and to a secluded place. There she would kill him and then claim the money from Crownet for doing what was simply her duty.

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
Enver had given the accidental siring all the tips he knew about staying out of trouble. Enver know how to stay out of trouble, if he really tried, but most times he really couldn't care. Most of the vampire population took the vampire thing a little too serious and he loved chaffing their asses when he got into a bit of trouble. People loved making assumptions and talking garbage and he ate up all of it. In the end, if people were talking about you, even if it was negatively, they were still talking about you. He'd not be a no name vampire in these parts.
So, he told the guy to not feed in heavily populated areas. Told the guy to not show off his super powers in front of humans (at least not too often), told him where he could hang his hat at and then told him to go have fun and stay out of his hair. The guy was a right pain in his ***. Enver could only deal with so much drama that wasn't his and this guy was laced with it. Always angry, always threatening to bust his face open for making him this and always threatening to have his people take care of him. Enver would only reply that death wasn't permanent for their kind, which only made the guy more pissed at him. So, in the end, Enver had pretty much washed his hands clean of this guy.
Niko was meeting with a contact. Some guy, who knew a guy, who knew another guy. Only the guy of the guy didn't show up, it looked like. So there he was, in the middle of some teeny booper club, completely out of his element, looking like a jackass. His fingers tightened around the table as he sat there, watching the time pass on his cell phone. Thirty minutes had passed and Niko came to the recognition that he wasn't getting the hell out of Harper Rock, or Canada. The man who had made him this way had royally fucked him over. All his connections in the states and in other countries weren't any good to him if he was here. And he had to stay because his passport was being held under lock and key by the guy he used to sell to.
Niko stood, his anger getting the best of him. As he stood, the table came with him, what was once bolted down, wasn't and because he forgot to control his anger, Niko realized too little too late that his strength was something he would have to work on controlling. He tossed the table aside, the thing smacking against some random passer byer. He didn't care.
Niko shoved past the people and to the door of the club, only to be stopped by two bouncers. He assumed it was because of his massive size and Niko was used to people coming at him in groups or pairs. He was exactly that kind of guy. He gave them both one look that said a lot before he moved to shove them aside. In return, they bonded together and moved against him as a door block. Irritation trickled down his spine and to his toes until the man did the unexpected. His hands shot out so quickly, he didn't even know it until one of his hands was choking the hell out of one of the bouncers, the other guy giving Niko a punch to the side of his chest. Cheap shot, but effective. If he was a human. Niko crushed the man's throat beneath his hands, somewhat accidentally. He heard screams and then he was gone. Half way across the other side of town in a blink of an eye.

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
Dressed in a very trashy type of clubwear that she assumed all low class women wore, she had walked into the so called "hopping joint" she had been directed to about an hour before and watched her prey.
With a minor twitch here and there about the lack of cover on her body, she kept an ice cold glance at any would be suitors and kept her eyes on the male who seemed to be waiting for someone. Sipping the alcohol and being glad for once that she had the allurist curse.
A head pounding song by someone named "Gaga" completed the headache that had slowly been building. Something about applause. That was that. She could handle no more, pushing the drink away, she was about to stand up and put her plan to action, when her prey went into motion. She hadn't seen what started what, but she could see the table flip over and her prey stalking to the door. Raising an eyebrow, she sipped the drink once more and watched as he not only violated the masquerade in every way, but killed a human in the process.
With a sigh she called in Megan and had her come down to play "Cop" and sooth the now jittered humans. Shaking her head, she kept the picture she had of him now on her phone and mentally sought his mind. Establishing a connection, she tried to divine where he was headed, but he was not clearly thinking as could be seen by all the adrenaline rushed brain flow going down.
Standing up, she walked to her latest car and got in. Driving to a quiet place a few miles down the road, she would wait until her headache settled before she tried to track him once more. But like it or not, he would be dealt with before the week was out.

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
Exhausted and weary, she continued to listen to Megan on the phone as they searched different clubs and other nighttime places looking for the rogue.
It was tempting to call for help, and perhaps she might just call Zodiac in to her find this male. She did not have enough help in order to search every sleazy place and reading his mind, was not only disgusting but useless as he was only focusing on how angry he was with the male Enver.
A snort of disgust slipped out of her mouth. The city wondered why they needed rules and regulations? Right here was why. Said idiot male had sired a childe, not taking the responsibility to train them or kill them depending on the reaction needed, and now this idiot was wandering around causing havoc among the humans and making it obvious in an age filled with easy access cameras, at the human race was not alone.
This reminded she had not checked crownet lately and doing that, she was annoyed to discover the whole process of the codes they had been discussiong had seemingly been forgotten or left to the dust.
X-ing out the browser, she brought her phone up and voice dialed Megan.
"Anything to report yet Megan?"
The voice was muffled a bit, but a clear no was heard.
"Well then, I will meet you back up at home. I believe instead of futilely wasting our time, we need a bit extra help. I will see if Zodiac is available on such short notice to help and offer her a percentage of the profit. Have a good evening Megan."
With that done, she started typing the text message to Zodiac and sent it. Hoping the woman was not to busy to help her.

Zodiac,
Being as we have worked many times together in the past, I was hoping you could help me with a rogue I have come across. I having trouble tracking him and I hate to waste any more time searching the city for someone who has displayed a reckless regard for our laws.
If you could help, I would greatly appreciate it and perhaps cut you in for a percentage of the profits?
-Sophia.

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
"HA!" the mystic did a few turns in front of the camera that was attached to the comp and checked herself out on the monitor. All Hallows was coming, so she had decided to get a jump on possible costumes. She took a seat in a chair and struck a classic pose and tried not to laugh.
"Face it, Cassandra, I could rock this look better than you," she smirked.
"Hello, darlings," she purred in her mind as she checked the angles and the fit of the so-called dress. 'Elvira' teetered on the brink of burlesque and obscenity with this look, but it would be at a party she'd be dressed like this and certainly not in public.
The phone trilled softly on the end table. Zodiac scooped it up and continued to primp and pose in the camera. "Hello? This is the Mistress of the Dark." she thought for a second in her best Elvira mental voice before turning the phone to check the message.
"No perhaps about it," she snorted as she got up. Quickly, her fingers danced out a reply.
Hey, Moneybags-
No perhaps about it. Where are you at? And I need some details as to who I am looking for. I just can't point and say 'there he is'. Got to know who I am looking for and all that.
Details, please, and I will be there asap.
Zodiac-Mistress of the Dark
Well that was a buzz kill in a way. She was having fun playing dress up, but Sophia never called unless it was important or cash was involved. Reluctantly she undid the wig that gave her the extra volume and length of hair and shook out her own black and violet tresses. It took 3 seconds to free herself from the dress and to begin putting on more normal clothing. "Oh, that would be real super secret blend in with the area stuff. Dressed as Elvira. But then again, maybe this rogue has a taste for creepy girls."
The phone trilled again as she was trading the high heels for running shoes. She had an address now to work with. She'd get the rest of the story from Sophia directly when she got there. She grabbed her purse and headed for the door.

One lift of an eyebrow was all that was given to the title. Zodiac was a quirky type of individual and normally Sophia would have had an assistant or even an assistant of an assistant deal with her. But some consideration must be given to a woman who had saved her life. She was perhaps one of few who had Sophia's direct phone number and could call it should she need help.
Typing quickly, she sent a reply and grabbed a cab to her home. The night was still early for her, so while Megan would sleep, she would have Zodiac meet her at her house and perhaps together they find and destroy this male.
Zodiac,
The male in question is named Niko Katic. He is a childe of the creature known as Enver and is running rampant through the city, tossing humans around like they are candy. Please meet me at my home at #3 Cedar Hills. I need to pick up a bit more equipment and change out of these disgusting clothes I was using as a disguise.
Sophia.
Sending the text, she ignored the various leers and whistles coming from the assorted males she passed and brought out her Ipad from her purse. On it was the Ordinance document she had been working on for sometime. Perhaps she would share that with Zodiac to and get her input. She was done waiting for others to get in so crude a term "their **** done". Evidently it would be all up to her as usual.

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
"Cedar Hills. Rich ***** country," The mystic rolled her eyes as she sped along the streets making her way to the residential community. It wasn't like she could not afford such a place if she truly wanted it, she just didn't cater well to the class of people that flocked to these collections of boxes within a box. All the same, perfect colors, exact lawns and little fences all laid out in rows so everyone could see their neighbors had the exact same house as they did (while finding something to look down their noses at in the mirror image). Ack! How could people live like that?
Now, HER house would have additions to it. A solarium and a hot tub deck. Large, rich overflowing gardens of colors with statues and a ritual circle sat in the yard. The house all painted in black and shades of violet with hex signs in proper places and to crown it all a big Garfield wind sock on one of the upper eves flapping happily on the breeze and a sign on the front gate saying BEWARE OF THE CAT, and a rack in the driveway that claimed FOR BROOM PARKING ONLY next to her multi-colored mini bus parked where all could see.
"Then the resident board could talk about me at their stupid little meetings and write petitions demanding I leave." she snorted in her thoughts as she turned in. Ignoring the posted speed limit and rolling along. They never laid these things out like a normal person would. To Zodiac, it should have gone one, two, three, and so on, but designers of these places had their own ideas. She found the house and squealed into the driveway. Clipping a garbage can in the process and locking the brakes. She killed the engine, set the brake, and got out and looked around.
"Great Lillith, save me from Suberbia," she chuckled before placing her fingers to her lips and letting out a loud, piercing whistle. She wondered for a moment what kind of clothing Sophia would find 'disgusting' and be used as a disguise. "C'mon, Sophia!" she shouted out to the woman's mind. "The meter is running and time's a wasting! This fella has a date with death and we are his escorts. Lucky ******** he is."

Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
Driving quickly, she passed a club that seemed to be filled with cops. Knowing she would be later but almost sure that the Niko fellow had been here, she stopped her car and with a weary groan in her head for the necessity of such things, sauntered up to a cop who looked like he'd give her information just for a mere look at her in the trampy outfit she wore. The black lace on her arms itched for silk and the slim black faux leather hugged her body like an irritable man. Knowing she would need more help then her exhausted personality could give her, she let her fingers brush his arm, using an intimidate and confusion subtly on the human male.
Pulling him away just slightly, so the other cops milling about would only assume she was trying to flirt with the male, she kept her voice to a low murmur as she spoke him. Drawing information as easily as candy. Yes someone had torn this club apart, after only a few drinks it seemed, when someone wouldn't tell him where he could find "Enver".
Anger drew her mouth thin, letting her know this was her rogue. In fact he had killed two bouncers, by bouncing them off a wall and laughing as he ran out.
Walking away from the cop before she could be picked up for obvious prostitution charges, she got back into her white car, just as Zodiac's shout came into her mind. Her respond was filled with a thread of anger, though directed at the rogue not Zodiac.
"No need to remind me. I shall fill you in when I arrive"
A few moments later, her car slid into her very nice driveway and she took a moment to relax. Anger was of no use to her in this hunt, only her normal cold blooded approach would work.
Sliding out of the car, she spoke and walked quickly towards her door. "This male is exactly why we need rules and yet the rest of society closes its eyes. Idiots. I have a large cache of weapons in my basement, we should load up and leave now. The rogue has killed two more humans by bouncing them off walls like ping pong balls. Evidently it is angry at its creator and wants him dead. No matter how much I can not stand that Enver fellow, we cannot let this rogue kill more humans like he has. He might as well post a help wanted sign for vampires on You tube."
Disgust iced over each word as she would have a thing or two to say to Enver when this was all said and done.
Leading them inside, she passed the electronic codes, followed a specific path past a dozen traps and walked around the gleaming fade portal.
"Do hurry up Zodiac. This thing needs killing."

ooc: Beccy loves me and allowed me to do horrible things to enver :) aka rp Niko
He wasn't entirely thinking clearly anymore. All he could focus on was the fact that he needed out of this ******* city. He didn't give a **** about this Enver asshole anymore but the guy owed him didn't he? He'd drug him from some good **** to this piece of crap life. Getting shot at mysterious assholes, having to drink blood, which was ******* creepy. All in all. He was done.
He'd make him pay for it one way or another. He didn't notice the blood on his hands from the second fight he'd been in. All he focused on was the red stained card in his hands. He'd found another guy who'd heard of this Enver. Evidently the drug ******** had done good and owned a theater now.
Here it was. In his hands. An address. Somewhere in this building was that *** and he'd find him. Find him, hurt him, **** him up and get his passport. Hell at this point, the guy had made him look like such a putz, he might just kill him and take all his dough. He was all powerful now right? So he could do anything he wanted to.
The card was caught on one of his claws as he focused on the running **** he could do and found himself right next to the theater. He couldn't wait for this night to start.
----NIKO----
He wasn't entirely thinking clearly anymore. All he could focus on was the fact that he needed out of this ******* city. Re: [tCotR] Niko Katic
"Oh, fill me in " She snorted. Woman wasn't even here yet.. Oh well. Zodiac leaned against the front of her van and relaxed. She lit up a rare cigarette as she got herself into a tracking mindset. As much of a joke machine as she could be at times, she took work very seriously when she set her mind to it. Someone had to die tonight. The jokes could keep till later.
She heard the car pulling in and waited till she heard the door slam shut. She glanced around to see Sophia, but nearly swallowed the cigarette as she came into view. She flicked the smoke away as she grinned.
"Well! So, is this real secret of the business queen?" She couldn't help it. If Sophia had shown up in her normally impeccable business attire, she would have fallen into step behind her and asked for the details. Her iPhone was out and several pics snapped and she followed along. "Legs for days. Filling out such a tiny skirt so perfectly. The secret life of Sophia Moretti. Makes me want to go downtown, buy a pimp hat and fur coat, swipe some bling from the gang bangers and show you off. 500 dollar and hour-just to be in the same room with her! Just to smell her! This is prime quality!"
Sophia dropped coldly into all-business mode as she began telling the mystic her view of the situation at hand. Zodiac pouted, despite listening closely. Sophia could be such a poop sometimes. Need a crowbar just to manage the illusion of a smile out of her, but to be fair she never cried wolf unless there was one lurking about. Sophia said something was amiss? That was good enough for the gypsy. She glanced at her phone and saw the pictures were good and dropped it back into her pocket.
She watched as Sophia began to break down the layers of security to allow them to pass. Where she stepped, Zodiac followed exactly. She paid close attention. She did not have Ginny with her to bail her out in this invisible minefield. She snuck a couple glances at the woman's back side, trying not to laugh, while humming the 'Get Smart' theme in her head.
" Niko Katic. Childer of Enver. Going batshit crazy with his newfound self. Treat with extreme disrespect. Just give me some extra ammo on the other side and watch me work, leatherbuns."
Before Sophia could reply, Zodiac stepped into the portal and vanished, but not before taking a few additional snaps of her.

Oh? She was dragging them back now? Zodiac wasn't the one auditioning for a street corner at the moment. She saw the glow and smirked. A fadeportal. How quaint. She looked at the woman directly in the eye now and spoke to her thoughts in no nonsense terms.Sophia Moretti wrote: "Do hurry up Zodiac. This thing needs killing."
