PsychoCliff wrote:If a Paladin or a Sorc was turned, do they get to keep all their nifty powers?
Nope. Sorcerers draw from their own Chi (Qi) like those ancient chinese myths about supernatural warriors. The power they draw from is like anima, but can't be transferred. As vampires can only steal anima from other entities (they produce none of their own as they are dead), they cannot use Qi.
Paladins are more complicated, but their powers are also not available to vampires. I'll reveal more about that when paladins are a playable class.

Quoth wrote:Are the areas in the Shadow Realm that resemble certain districts in Harper's Rock a product of the tear pressing up against the real world, or more a projection of the thoughts and feelings of the dead vampires there?
If the first one, would it be possible for for one vampire to sense another as being nearby through the tear?
Neither. The shadow realm is more of a direct reflection of the real world, regardless of the proximity of the tear. I'll reveal more about that in later chapters.
Having said that, yes, it is occasionally possible to sense or even see living people while in the SR. That will be introduced into the game mechanics when the SR gets an upgrade.

Pi wrote:Pi is about to make her own bloodline and I was thinking about logistics.
In the update it says, creating your own bloodline is merely a Declaration of Independence but logistically, or RP-ing-ly. Is it like a Deed Poll Name Change?
Globally and realistically, they're still a part of the original bloodline but in actuality their 'name' changes? So would you RP it merely as a name change? Or would something be.. mystically or RPingly 'different'?
I mean, how does Pi really change the last name or 'bloodline' of all the vampires sired under her? I'm just curious about how you saw this practically happening in RP.
If you believe in last names and vampires being like human families ... well, it still would be up to the individual. There's no forced "name" change, and there's nothing mystical about declaring independence for a bloodline.
I think I've said more about the bloodline thing in the past, but I can't remember exactly what. It would be on the update post, I think.

Amaranthia wrote:What happens when a Mystic takes over someone else's body? What happens to the previous owner?
And is it possible for 2 souls to be in one body? (For each of the paths)
I think I said yes to the 2 souls thing, but only for a while before either the human or the vampire spirit is forced out. You'll have to ask Isabella for confirmation, but I believed I gave roleplay freedom with that.
If the human spirit is forced out, I'd imagine they'd either be swallowed up by the shadow realm or whatever human afterlife there is (or wander around as a ghost).

Moriah wrote:"While there are documented cases of insane Necuratists, it is also true that most vampires of certain paths seem to go insane eventually anyway."
It would be relevant to Mori's interests if she could get her hands on some of those documented cases >.> Got a bone to throw me?
We're talking about old vampire journals, and a few lab notes from the Broussard possibly. Yeah she could find something like that if you roleplay it

Pi wrote:So, for Rp, Pi needs to get physically restrained so she can be tortured by a human. What restraints can she be restrained with that would take, some time, and considerable effort, for her to get out of?
I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject of metal strengths and what amount of force it would require to break them. It would depend largely on the strength of the vampire and the type of metal. I'd say that very strong alloys could hold them.
And is there anything, that could knock her out to get her on into the position of restraint? That a human could do?
Unless I've contradicted myself in the past, then the answer is yes you can knock a vampire out but they'd wake up in something like 1/20th of the time a human would. A shot to the head would work best ;)

Is it possible to have both humans and vampires in the same Crownet area deemed the above things? Or would one not be able to decipher what is being written? I remember something about humans not being able to see what is being written in the public crownet areas that are for vampires only, but what about the other areas?
And if not regular human pc's can blood thief pc's see any vampire area crownet areas, family or public?
Humans can't access crownet. They can't even hack it, as its protected by the (currently) semi-omniscient Crow.
