People seem to have an issue seeing the truth about government. My parents brought me up on anarchy, so I was fortunate to have a head-start. But even with that in mind, is it really that hard to see what's wrong with government? Every time people try it something awful ends up happening, and the bigger and stronger it is, the more risk of something awful happening because of it increasing. The only time anyone was able to commit genocide was because of government. The only time an entire race in a country was able to be controlled and enslaved was because the government would send people out to catch and punish them if they escaped.
I think people are afraid of anarchy because they aren't familiar with not having 'big brother' always looming over watching to keep them in line. They don't know what it would be like without them. Personally, I don't care if you follow a leader or not. Yes, I am aware of what anarchy means as a word. I am not saying you can't follow someone, I'm just saying that should people really be forced to follow the rules of a government that they had nothing to do with?
I think people associate anarchy with chaos. I disagree completely. But even if that were the chaos, which is worse, chaos, or mass murder Because both can occur in government, but it's a whole lot harder to get the second one without it.
It frustrates me that no one can seem to see this. I'd love to fix it myself, but what am I supposed to do? I can't waltz around killing elected officials, that wouldn't do any good and I'd just end up getting shot myself before I even got that far. Not that I'm even keen on trying if I could.
I just don't know what to do.
