Where to find the best sword drops?

I have been away from the game awhile, and was wondering what NPCs have the best sword drops now. Or what the best places were to hunt for sword parts. Thanks for any info on the subject.

I would suggest off the valkyries, NPC's in the spot two blocks down from the bifrost transit. They drop pretty theodosian spears and some kind of sword, both are pretty good quality. Though they don't drop every-time, so you might end up fighting for awhile.
I think Melee parts also show up as items in the Abandoned sewers (up a little from the Westwall transit) where you can just pick them up.

Welcome back to Path!
It certainly depends on your level as to where the best hunting spots are for weapon drops.
Valkyrie Swords (9, 15, 7) and Spears (15, 9, 7) are fairly reliable from Ironwood Grove in Bifrost, as Mason said. You're going to have to be level 40+ to defeat these enemies, however. Another reliable source is the Enchanted Katanas from the Abandoned Sewer Enemies (13, 13, 7) which is around level 30+ in Westwall.
You can get weapon drops from almost all of the NPCs on the grid, which also ties in to your level against the NPC thanks to the levelled loot drop code. If you're lucky, you might even get a Theodosian Spear (14, 14, 9).
If you've got the coin, you can also buy some weapons from the Auction House. This is pretty reliable too.

Thanks!
Theodosian Spear, sounds really nice. Forgot Corbin had a lock box, and I found a nice stash of parts for him work with. Avi will be on the hunt for those sword drops though. Thank you all again for the helpful info.

I have a character or two who collect these and are eager to sell them in bulk if someone were ever to post a request on the board.
