Valerian Cross is a Jorogomo (however you spell it). He likes to see himself as a cold calculative mastermind, but realizes fully he's more empathetic then he should be (for a Jorogomo that is). He has pity and empathy for others even if he's trying to trick them in some way or another. Naturally, Valerian is looking for mates, but he especially enjoys the presence of expensive items, silver, gold, enchanted things, whatever makes him feel rich and powerful. He's actually also careful to avoid angering fellow Jorogomo's knowing he is far less powerful then many of them, and also avoids getting on the bad ends of other Sirens territory unless he knows he can take them down.

OOC'ly I'm looking for just about anything,

Mates (keep in mind, Valerian is looking to get children, that to him is the whole purpose of mating. He may still form an emotional bond with someone, but at least starting out, that's his end goal.). It'd be easy to explain him trying to become close friends with someone for this reason, regardless of if he succeeds in his end goal.

Crime: He fights, kills, steals, he's pretty selfish after all. He won't kill some people just cause he feels too much pity for them if he would, maybe even guilt. He is definitely a fighter, but being low level currently, mostly fights zombies, ancient zombies, gangsters, guards (if he has to), or in street fight type things. Could do a thread with him going after a target, being part of a fight club, or something like that.

Other sirens: I'd like for him to interact with other Sirens, whether as equals, or one superior and the other inferior. Jorogomo males are after all known for being inferior to the females. He does tend to be more careful around them as a result.


Also I've been dying to rp a fight, no need to have actual IC consequences. But we could use the role-play actions to do stuff on forum, and based upon the results, play out the fight as we go perhaps? I don't need to win or lose but I'd love to play it out.

She's very, very new so I'd love to kinda throw them together and see what shakes out organically. She's a loner, abandoned as a child to an older great aunt and uncle who may or may not be blood related. Enrolled member of the Ojibwe tribe in Minnesota with ties to Canada. She drifts from place to place, seeking experiences and some sort of purpose.

Well then where's a good location? Can kind of go anywhere, out and about, forest, the caverns, club, etc.

Perfect! I still have her in the tutorial but she'd probably frequent a dive-ish bar or diner-type place? She's also a bit of a forest-walker.

Great, diner is easy and forest is easy (especially in Jorogomo form).

So quick choice is:

One of us can start a Diner thread, just hop right in.

Or jump into the forest as either human or Siren form (since the forest is pretty much the safest place to change form).

If you have a preference you can go ahead and choose and I'll go with that. Just tell me if you want to start it or if I should? And I guess we can get headed in pretty soon.

I'm good with anything you decide. If you'd like to get it rolling, that would be a big help because we have my in laws over today and I'd love to get it going!
