Offline AI and Defending Allies [b?]

I've got Ephraim set for defending his allies in his offline settings and he seems to be completely ignoring that.

He and Sawyer have been standing together all week and she's been attacked four times, but he hasn't attempted to defend once.

I've double checked all of his settings, he is set for defending allies, and has her in his list on his relationships page, along with the rest of his faction. But he doesn't really seem to want to actually do anything. I'm not sure exactly why he wouldn't, but, there's that.

I had wondered about that too, when I saw she was still hanging with him. (and not trying to lower her bounty, lol :P)

The last time Alex attacked her she used a power however, so I am not sure that one would have triggered? That would only explain the once tho.
What's the odds for the RNG, do we know? Dex plays a factor as well, I believe?

eta

and intelligence also might be a factor????

Well, his dex is maxed out. So that wouldn't be much of a factor, lol.

As for the RNG, I don't know, but yeah, I wasn't sure about the power or not. And still, a 0 attempt out of 3 attacks is kind of super lacklustre. Especially if all of his other tactics are set to disabled so that he has the highest chance to attack that he can get. >.<

I tend to agree with you but I never have any luck with the RNG anyways. Heck, the first hit, Alex totally missed! :)) But the retail from Sawyer hit. And so did her next attack which I presume was the 'dark thingy' which I think is 100%? Damn paladins! :))

Yeah, I think DT can't miss. It can't crit though. xD

And it's up to 0/7 attempts, now. Which is like... getting silly. I don't think he's ever defended an ally, and I've had this set since it was an option.

Nothing for Tierney defending either.

if you want to add bugmod to a list of allies we could test it out by beating up on them non-stop to see if it ever works. Maybe not atm with the guys standing guard but with alts? Or whatevers.

& anytime, just poke at me to let me know. they're just outside of the wickbridge train station too, if you want to start without me. :))

Do you have 'Attempt to retaliate' or 'grab hold of allies being teleported ' or any of the others enabled?

These will all lower your chances of Offline tactics as well.

I'm wondering if it's got to do with his intell. I noticed it was a wee bit on the low side...
