UPDATE: Alt Partners (and alt aiding rule update)
Posted: 28 May 2019, 14:42
Each character can now be linked to one alt character (or a character owned by somebody else living in your house), making them 'alt partners'. Doing so will mean that these two characters can legally work together without flagging any anti-cheat systems at all. You'll also be allowed to have these characters help each other in other ways, such as in roleplay.
You can only have a maximum of 1 alt partner per character, and you removing this partnership will mean you cannot partner them with another alt ever again. This is to prevent abuse of the system. Alt partner binding costs 20 karma.
To use this system, go to the 'relatinships' page in game.
We decided on this update because a) we thought it would encourage more real life partners to play the game together and return to the game now that they can, and b) we decided it would add an extra dimension to the game to allow you to use two of your characters in conjunction with one another. For example, you may wish to roleplay siring a human NPC, but now you can create that human as a vampire under your own character, and use that character as part of your team.
