Discord exile

Forgive if this is in the wrong area of the forum.
I had joined the Path group on Discord and now suddenly find myself kicked off the damn thing.
I am not one to chatter away just to see myself posting. I was going in daily and catching up on the convos in progress and not causing any issues and now I am kicked for reasons unspoken?
Someone explain, please.

Hey!
So my guess is that the mod team thought
this was you is all. Were you there under an unsorted account? The ones in purple.
If so, your account was probably booted because the mods boot unsorted accounts after a certain amount of time. To be sorted, your server nick* just has to match a character on grid, which is probably why they thought the account I linked above was yours.
If that's not you, we'll just boot that account and you can rejoin the server and get sorted.

* To change your server nick via desktop, you just have to right click your name on the member list and it should give you the option. Similarly, if you're mobile, you can change your nick by pressing (and holding) the server icon on the left side of the screen (the one that says 'bite me'), and it should bring up a list of options.

Thank you, and no-that was not me. I have no idea if I was purple or not (but, would fit Zo perfectly. lol)

The general link floating around is set to never expire, so if it does give you trouble, opening it with the application or in a different browser with cookies cleared should take care of it!

It worries me that we have impostors signing up to it. I'll have a think on how to curtail this.

imo anyone caught doing so should get at least a two-week ban. The damage someone could cause if they were to pull it off could be quite serious. Is there any way to find out who the imposter Zodiac was?

I'm not sure it was an imposter.
Zodiac is pretty common username on discord (I've seen more than 10). This could have very well been the case of a new player getting caught in the mix-up, which is terrible.
However, that's not to say it can't happen, and we'll look into a way to ensure that it won't in the future, and if it does, what we can do about it. Two weeks is a good first step, I think.
Zodiac, I'll send you a message and see if we can't get this sorted if you're still having issues! :)
