New Family Bloodline. (With new Powers, and Curses or Old )

So, I was thinking of creating a whole new Family bloodline. But it isn't exactly new as you guys know that I'm into the Mafia big time. Also the family blood line is based on Real Life, and I will be kinda rewriting some of the history to fit the story line here. The Bloodline I want to use is called Gambino Crime Family. They will have their own Merits and Flaws as you would call them and one I'm currently using which I gained permission from David a few years back before creating this character.

The Flaw Ruby is using is called Death-Sight. What does it mean or do you ask? Well, Death-Sight is a curse more or less rather than a flaw, you see people as walking corpse, buildings, chairs, anything made of metal, wood, etc etc all looks decayed. Its rather fun curse to toy around with. I like it to be able to use as a tool (Rping) Wise rather than grid wise. This curse can be sought during your embrace or even before the embrace, detailed history written should be used during creation on how you obtain this.

The Gambino Crime Family are mainly Necromancers, those with the Curse must be a Necromancer or before hand parents dabbled in such witchery. The Curse can be temporarily fixed through magic one can create a pair of reading glasses that can make one see normal as if they never had the curse to begin with. This act can go through rituals and the time process would be about a few days to create. Depending on how powerful you want to make them duration of the glasses being worn would break and no longer in use. (Suggested by Levi's player with the glasses, it was and is an awesome idea)

I will have to write up some more little fun stuff for the new Crime family, now would love to hear "David" thoughts and anyone else if they wish to add some stuff to this new bloodline.

I really like the idea of Death Sight.

To see the world in everything in decay - including people. It would be like an Allurist looking in a real mirror but everywhere and everyone. Now mix that with Nightmares and everyday/night is a living hell. It would be hard as hell to play off but a great concept. Anyone with this would never want to be with anyone because gross.... but it is an awesome thing. I think it should be looking into / worked out more.

I like the idea, naturally.

Particularly about them all being of one Path. It's limiting in terms of grid play, but the RP potential is massive.

Levi would be an ally, an associate of sorts, because he enjoys being a lone ranger. I guess that's why he's a Shadow. ^.~

Now all we need are players. :))

I like that concept as well, I've had Alex set to just siring Allurists for a while now. It just 'fits', lol. ;P

I recall something about the curse, and it sounds cool, but I'd like to add it to the list of curses available on the RP traits page.

I don't remember approving the glasses or bloodline powers. For that you'd need to make a suggestion and I'd have to add it to the game official if you wanted to use that, but to be honest the glasses thing sounds like it wouldn't work.

With the curse, how about making it so that it only happens some of the time? This way there's no need to add the glasses thing in.

Oh No, I haven't asked you about that YET, i was going to but wanted to see if you approve of this first, and by the sounds of it you are.. I will write up the Family bloodline on the Suggestion page if you like and thank you for adding this because I want this to be a curse for the bloodline, but those who aren't bloodline but have necromancy can get the curse, perhaps from a power that causes it.. Yea that last part would be cool but with Ruby i have it where she has it perminately I'll have to write up how she got that, before being embraced, was thinking perhaps her mother was a servant to a vampire who had the curse, and passed it to the servant through blood drinking. ?

The servant could potentially be a blood thief with the cursed, curse? I saw this while looking through curses for Dekker earlier today.
Cursed - (Only applicable to Blood Thieves) Each time you feed, you inherit all the curses from your victim for the duration that you keep their powers.

How does a characters path limit anything in gridplay? I have played every path, and never noticed any limitations of what they can do on grid
