So is there anyway we can get this place active again - or draw in fresh blood.
It makes me so sad seeing this place so dead.

I'm a professional Marketer, so I'm more than happy to provide free advice on advertising and marketing campaigns. I can run them and analyse the results, too. I can't do that without investment from the developers, however. It's not my business and I won't step on toes.
Everything else I can offer is a matter of bug testing, proofreading, copywriting, and project management.
More than willing to get my hands dirty and provide ideas too, but I'm no leader. I'm better taking direction and working with my initiative.

That sounds great to me, I hope the guys take you up on it! And next time I need an extra hand to help test a bug, can I poke you please?
Word of mouth has always been the way it worked best before. I think the key to that is making new players feel welcome and helping them to fit in quickly so they will ask their friends to join.
Any chance of getting something like the fledgeling foundation going again? Or maybe an ooc welcome wagon sort of group?
And!
Don't forget to vote!!! ;) (these sites HAVE brought in players!)

Hit me up, whenever. I'm happy to help where I can.
What was the original fledgling foundation? Was that IC or OOC? I think we can get Myk and Claude involved on the IC front. Levi's a meanie. Don't trust him. Lol
I'm thinking that newbies will come if we market to them and stay if we keep them incentivised.
Personally, I think the best way to advertise Path is leaning on the supernatural RP element, the writing over the gameplay. I've read the feedback on the app store and I see a trend. People don't know what to do with the game and need incentives to keep them active. It's easy enough to do, but requires coding. Whereas a focus on RP is a community job that we can all share in.

The fledgeling foundation was all ic, if I'm remembering correctly. And pretty much only vampires too, unless I am mistaken?
Humans have always had a harder time starting out, on the forum and on the grid.
There was talk about making a mentoring system for at least the pathed humans at one time but I think no one could decide how to actually execute the plan? *sighs* My memory has truly become swiss cheese these days... >.<

Bethy can I move this thread from rp planning to game discussions? I think the devs might be more likey to see it there and chime in, as well as active players who aren't roleplaying atm. <3

Go for it! <3
I agree.
I’m happy to push Mora forward from an IC perspective to help with funding and things
From an OOC perspective if there is anything I can do. I’ll do it! I miss the activity it’s so sad to see so few writing!
Path was so beautifully active.

Awesome, thank you.
And yeah but to be fair, winter was ALWAYS the slowest time of the year. I myself haven't written in a year but hope to again soon. & I know I'm not the only one who is in that boat!

We've got an advertising area
here if you guys want to spam roleplay sites with it, too, that focus specifically on roleplay. I've slacked the past few weeks due to illness, but I should be getting back to it soon.
