Active Factions?

I was wondering if there were any active factions?
I'm especially interested in those fighting to keep the danger level low for the city.

There are only a handful active right now that I'm aware of and I gave one of the leaders a nudge to check out this thread when they get a chance to see if they'd fit what you're looking for. :)

Sebastian is pro-life, which to him includes all kinds of creatures who are sentient.
I thought it would be a challenge for him to be a Paladin of all things. My feeling is that he got "turned" against his will, which doesn't appear to be far-fetched.
