Bug details: Trying to change the Character Token (displays on grid, 100 wide by 100 high, .png or .jpg only) to https://i.imgur.com/WMR1fMI.png and saved [multiple times], when the page refreshes it shows: images/avatars/12816.png -- The image is 100x100, png.

Further information:

Attempted to remove the s in https
Then attempted to upload on tiny-pic
Also tried to change the png to jpg.
Still on go

did you try clearing your cookies? It doesn't automatically update the image (yet?)

Cookie clearing did nothing


24 hours or so did.


Here's the thing


I put the imgur link

and it uploads it to the server


images/avatars/12816.png

that tackled on after the /pathofvampire/ part = his avatar

Which now is showing.


It just wasn't clearing on the actual grid, even with the cookies.


So no longer a bug, I think.

Just time wonkiness.

I think you have to do a hard refresh after uplodating a token, because you need to update your image cache. You should be able to do that with control + F5 (or command + F5). David and I are planning to make it so that you don't have to do that in the future, but for now, that's your best work around.

So, I was trying to change Caligrace's. I did the hard refresh - a few times, actually, and it didn't work.

I'll wait to see if time changes it, too, but it is being weird. It usually changes instantly.

I keep trying to change my grid avatar from the old one to a new one, but it's not saving the changes, and instead, keeping the old one.

You may need to delete your cookies... and something else. It's most likely the same known issue many of have had and I'll look up the thread and merge yours to it. Sorry for the inconvenience!
