Akakios
*For the last couple of weeks Akakios had been hiding here in the Corvidae Flats. The police were a little annoyed with him after finding him just chilling outside of a stripped warehouse, of course they were even more annoyed when they checked his bag and found everything inside of it. He had decided after that to just hide here in the Flats and do some simple hunting until the heat died and he was able to get back to work. Over the weeks he had started to get into a routine, he would walk around and seek out the easy to kill zombies and bash their heads in before moving on. But, today he decided to go for a bit of a walk around the building and see what else he could find. So, that's what he was doing - walking around with his hearing aid off and his gun dangling off his finger.
Jazir Pevinah
it was easy to stalk most of those in Corvidae Flats. That was the thing about vampires, they thought they were at the top of the food chain so they no longer felt threatened, especially not by someone that looked just like they did. His skinny form and long coat and shaded sunglasses made him seem almost normal amidst the other vampires. He'd found a few people to prey on that would not report him, he'd also spawned a Childer because he'd liked the human he'd found wandering brazenly through the vampire populated area. This one, this one seemed new, he hadn't seen him before and he slipped up behind him to try to nab his wallet, his deft fingers brushing past him as he bumped into him innocently and moved to stand next to him.
Akakios
| Silence was something that was familiar to him, it was like a life long friend that curled about him and protected him from the world - silence was his weapon of choice most days. People assumed that because he was deaf he was also stupid. They thought they could get away with thing that they couldn't with others - they forgot that when once sense dies then the others get stronger. It wasn't just the vampire blood running through his veins that had Akakios' eyes sharper than normal. He could see the other male coming a mile away. The moment that the hand slipped into his pocket he was grabbing the wrist and yanking. He worked hard for his money, and he was not in the mood to share it with some kid who barely looked old enough to get into this part of the city. "Hands off." His words were muffled by the fact that his voice was only half formed, but they were clear enough to be understood as he shoved the kid away from him.
Jazir Pevinah
Surprise lit up Jazir's eyes at having his hand grabbed. Bone was felt in his wrist, the frame of his skeleton gaunt due to malnutrition and constant starvation. Physically even if his strength could supercede in a brief burst of power, he felt as weak as a toddler and was easy to push away. He even stumbled. His hands lifted back up as he faced Akakios. 'Sorry...its how I say hello...' The words weren't words, they were invasive, they were amused and eccentric and jagged inflection wise and they traveled telepathically between them as the sunglasses slipped down his nose a little and burnt orange eyes fired into contact with Akakios's eyes. 'Those who catch me I usually offer money back to...?'
Akakios
| The look in Akakios' eyes could have frozen hell fire. There was very little room for emotion, other than the raise of a single brow. 'Go, away' he replied in the same way he was spoken to - at least this way he didn't sound like he had cotton shoved in his mouth. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with the kid - though that wasn't a rare thing, he was rarely in the mood to deal with others on a social level. 'I am busy' with that he turned on his heel and walked back the way he had come.
Jazir Pevinah
He wasn't used to being dismissed so easily, usually his appearance and unhinged mannerism made people a little more off balance. He blinked, then licked his lips, he was starving, the pain of it was something he couldn't ignore and he didn't know where Mathias was. So he stepped after Akakios, moving to latch onto him before the other really figured out what he was after and dig teeth into his neck. His hold was far stronger than before, desperation making him quick and lethal. Almost as fast as he'd latched on he let go, blood staining his lips and fangs and life barely easing the constant agony in his chest. Doubtless this would turn into some sort of fight but he was past caring. Most people were okay with getting compensated for what he took, but Akakios didn't seem interested in money.
Akakios
| Most people ended up being confused by Akakios, they didn't understand why he didn't react the way they wanted him to. A lot of the time he does the opposite of what people want him to do just because he doesn't want to give them the satisfaction of being proven right. In this situation, what would be expected of him - after being being physically attack - would be to get angry and defensive, to grab his gun and let out a hail of bullets. So, of course, Akakios' hand raised to cover the bite mark and he was turning to give the teen another withering look. 'The ****?' he growled into the others mind as he started to move forward, aggressive but not violent.
Jazir Pevinah
He wasn't quite daredevil enough to stay close to Akakios after attacking like he had so he stepped back, letting the other chase him more towards a wall. He had his own weapons but he didn't draw them, the Fade held no fear for him, he'd been to it several times. "I needed...starving..." 'I was starving, I'm starving...I can pay you money or lure a human...anything you want...hunting isn't safe for someone like me.' It was honest and he looked like he was ready to share the pain of being hungry, he also looked like he was tensing up, his eyes brightening blood orange, his telepathic presence darkening and exuding a deepset sort of threat. He'd bite again if Akakios got too close. Until he was weak...if he had to. 'Stay back or I'll bite again.'
Akakios
| There was a heavy sound to his steps (not that Akakios himself could hear it), he sounded like a hunter stalking its prey - but still he did not draw his weapon. 'You should have asked,' he again growled as he kept moving, he only stopped moving when he was within arms reach. Akakios had yet to learn about these creatures, so he held no fear - like a dodo had no fear of humans until they were extinct. Being only a few feet away he was able to stare directly into the others eyes - and Spock would have been proud of the glare he leveled the boy with.
Jazir Pevinah
'You didn't seem like you'd say yes...' The response was simple, even if the way his hands shook and his eyes glowed was anything but, it was obvious he was still starving. If the signs had been hidden by false expectations before they certainly weren't now.
Akakios
| 'So you violated my space?' Logic would say that he should get rid of the threat, that he should take those steps and shove his fist into the others chest. There was something about this boy that had him shoving his hands into his pockets and trying not to come across as violent - though he was happy if they other still could see just how pissed off he was. 'You are still hungry.' A statement of fact. 'Come here.' Sure he should run, heck he should fight the kid - but something said that the kid just needed a brotherly...hug? No...a brotherly something.
Jazir Pevinah
'Yes'. There was no true guilt, just a sort of resigned aura to the statement. He'd do it again if he thought he could get away with it, he was debating it. You could see the agitation in his posture and in the quick way his eyes darted back and forth. 'Yes...I have not fed in too long...I'm sorry.' The apology wasn't really able to convey true sorrow at what he'd done, more it was a polite habit, something subconscious that just bubbled up and escaped. At being told to come closer he took a step closer, mostly because that's all he wanted to do, but common sense was warring with hunger.
Akakios
| The boy in front of him reminded Akakios of a cat he had once owned. It had been a small little thing that shook when ever someone came near it. When he had found the cat it had been a kitten starving on the streets and it bit his hand five times as he picked it up and carried it home so he could get some food into it - the kid was just like that, a little shaky and clearly he was also very bitey. 'If you are hungry - and can control yourself enough not to drain me - then you can have more' he held out his wrist - after all the neck was a little too vulnerable.
Jazir Pevinah
Long fingers quickly flinched out to latch around Akakios's wrist, a soft defensive hiss escaping him at the stress of the situation and then the tension seemed to ease out of him. He had profound self control, despite the ever present hunger and the almost emaciated look to him. He tried it to the limit often. It was just today his normal cunning was completely lacking, as were social graces. "I will only take as much as you are willing to provide...and I can provide in return, as I said, I can lure a human...and I can pay for blood packs...and anything you may need, I have connections..." The scent drew him downwards and this time the punch of fangs through skin was far more controlled and less agressive. It was simply a tight latching grip that eased off into the brush of lips and mere touch of tongue to promote healing and then he straightened with a relieved breath. 'Thank you.'
Akakios
| 'No need, I have money and I can find humans.' He didn't want the other to think he was doing this to get something, Akakios was just a nice dude who liked to look after those around him even if he did hate people on principle. With his arm stretched out he stood there and watched. It was strange, he had become so use to being the one biting that being bitten made his stomach jump and knot. It was wrong, every cell in him told him that he shouldn't be allowing this to happen, but if the kid was feeding then that's what mattered. 'No problem'
Jazir Pevinah
'What about a safe place to stay with access to the internet and a video game console? I could open my apartment to you. I also recently created a childer that creates powerful weapons who is willing to sell and even give them to people that I could introduce you to.' He seemed much calmer when he straightened the relief that was evident on his features turning his gaze calculating, curious. "Most would not accept me for what I am..."
