This RP is back dated for May 3rd
Dawn rushed through the Clocktower where Kindred was once she stepped into the studio she was greeted by two things, Celeste and the tablet she used to prepare just about everything, including the resumés of the two people she wished to hire for Kindred.
"Thank you, Celeste. Who's first today?"
"First on the docket is Noir." She said as she handed Dawn the tablet with his resumé on the screen.
Dawn took a step into the reception area and glanced around. Dawn's gaze was turned momentarily towards a girl practicing in the dance studio before her eyes dropped back to the screen. She swiped one way to read some more before smiling and turning,
"Noir?"

The vampire looks bored. A breath so hoarse and so faint echoes out of him as he sits there staring into open space. The room is tasteful in a corporate way with nothing daring enough to cause offence or at least it looks that way when he’s not really there. Noir is thinking about how normal people act: what they do and what they say down to the inflections of their voice and the gestures of their hands. If there was anyone else in the room, any other candidates going up for the job, then he would be staring at them. Analysing them so he can mimic their mannerisms. He’s so far away from being human that he doesn’t remember what that means. He’s only been this way for a matter of months but it’s enough to strip his soul right out of him and make him just a walking, confused corpse. Just like Frank the zombie.
Celeste, the woman who greeted him earlier and asked him to take a seat, calls his name a half dozen times before he hears her. He cranes his neck to look up and then bursts into action and speed which looks unnatural for his tall skinny frame. He follows her into the room but keeps his distance and then sits when he’s instructed to. He doesn’t even recognise that there’s this other person in the room until he’s sitting down directly opposite her. When she calls his name in a voice that sounds truly angelic, his eyes focus on their own and the details are sucked into his brain with such blinding clarity that it gives him a headache.
“Yes, hello there.”
Back home, Noir doesn’t have an accent. In the hills the way he talks is as common as the coarse grey shingle they cover the dirt roads with, but in this foreign city, miles away from home, it marks him as an outsider. To him, they're the ones with an accent. Everything he says flows as smooth as a meadow river with inflections marbling his low voice with a sing-song quality. For the social occasions, most people love his Midland Irish accent and want to hear him sing, but the minute it comes to employment and stuffy official activities, they think he’s some backwash stray who has no business being here. They think his speech is a sign of ignorance. One look at the woman in front of him makes him anxious for other reasons though.
She is beautiful. Snowy hair and pale skin and blue eyes mark her like some mythical arctic creature. He goes as still as death under her gaze.

As the young male spoke, Dawn smiled, a bright white and fanged smile. There was something cute about the accent, but then, as a girl who loved to tour the world, she was always intrigued by accents. Her own was a mix of her heritage, part Norwegian, part Russian, American in the way she spoke though. She was, after all, American made in the frozen heart of Alaska.
Dawn offered her hand to Noir and smiled a bit more. "Glad you could join us for an interview Noir, would you like to follow me into my office so that we can get to know each other better?" Dawn asked before turning her attention onto Celeste for a moment, "Celeste, when the next appointment shows, please make sure they are well taken care of." She said and then turned back to Noir, as Celeste nodded and made her way to her seat behind the reception desk as Dawn motioned for Noir to follow her.
She walked down the small hall off the reception area and pressed open the two large wood doors - doors that looked far too heavy for someone so small as Dawn, but she was far stronger than she appeared. Inside her office everything was just as sleek and white as her hair, floor to ceiling windows let in the beautiful view of Harper Rock at night, the pretty lights twinkling like the stars in the sky. Despite only being on the first floor of the watchtower, she had a great view. Her desk was huge, making her look tiny when she sat behind it, but there was hints of pastel colors all over. The chairs in front of the desk were pastel blue, there were pillows on the sofa and pretty flowers on tables and on the large, white baby grand piano.
She sat in her chair behind her desk and smiled brightly, nodding to the seat opposite her one. "Please, have a seat, tell me more about you!"
