Hey you guys!

I got Nathan here ready to develop and write (ok so theres a few obstacles to get over but Im mostly there). Hes a pure human on vacation at the wrong time. Hes a historian with an interest in fine art and antiquities (think indiana jones, but less cool and wrinkled). So I wanted to develop him with the help of you guys.

Hit this thread and we will start plotting.

Vacationing to Harper Rock sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Though it's really great, I imagine, for someone in Nathan's field. I can offer up either Az or maybe Salvator for plotting? I mention Az because he's an academic - though their areas of focus don't have a ton of overlap (unless Nathan has a love for dead languages).

But in general, Az is fairly easy to get along with, which I find tends to make plots with him pretty easy to sort out.

Salvator I actually need to write more with. He's a memoirist who loves history. His move to Harper Rock is a bit of a pre-mid life crisis. The last of his family (save for his wild child sister) have all passed, and he's the last of the Hastings - which sort of prompted him to want to bury some roots. Of course, then the Rift expanded and zombies are all over the place, so that's happening.

He's extremely well traveled, and a tiny bit pretentious because he grew up middle class, and is independently wealthy. Mostly though, he's a good guy.

Sorry, I suck at describing characters.

I could also offer up a couple. If you go with Josh up there, I could throw Valdimar in if you're writing with Az. He's Az's childe and is also into the historical artifacts (they're the reason he ended up dying and being turned).

Or I could throw Alaric at you, an elder. So, there's history there.

Or I also have Peter Parkman, who is himself an historian. He used to teach history and philosophy at the university and now runs a historical journal, and an antique book restoration business.

I have a few I can toss in as well depending on whom you choose to RP with! Most of mine are human with an odd vampire or two in the mix.

Its a great time to be alive and visiting the city of the walking dead!

Whatever works best for you! If you decide to play with Az, I'm pretty sure Valdi and Lea will want to jump in, though individual threads totally work as well (for me at least).

Salvator would be individual (unless Chloe wanted to combine plots with Alaric) etc.

Really though, just go with what you like =D

Ok. So what if we think up some kind of event and we can decide who youd have join because i duno who to choose.

Maybe theres some crazy guy/peller on the street ranting about this magical, lucky item. Im thinking a locket with a 4 leaf clover inside and all of our characters are on the street at the same time so they can all just come and go and react however.

Im up for any suggestions!

Depending on your character's background, you could go a step further and have it be some sort of upper class black market auction for various antiquities. Black tie masquerade type of thing where people sling around enough cash to buy and sell people (much less items).

Az might have dragged Lea and Valdi there to perform a heist, because who actually wants to spend that kind of money?!

Or it could be seedier than that, depending on your preferences. I'm super chill about most things, and can throw Az into pretty much any situation without too much concern XD
