Spending a decent chunk of time with Elizabeth paired with the conversation with Mordechai had given the red-head plenty of things to think upon in her free time. It was tough, but insightful and beneficial when it came down to it. One of the conclusions she had come to was that there was still one other person she needed to attempt to speak to; she owed the woman an explanation at the least. Reaching for her phone, she typed out a message to Mortll. "I know I have no real right to ask, but is there any chance we could talk?"

Mortll
Mortlls phone vibrated in her pocket. She ignored it at first her hands were elbow deep in her latest batch of fertilizer and earth. Spring planting was on her and there was lots to do. New growth and she was a month behind on some items . She took and hosed off her hands fishing the Phone out of her pocket . She was surprised at who was sending the Text . Her thumb moved across the screen as she answered Text: I can meet with you Just name the time and place

Amalea
Amalea hadn't really expected an immediate reply to her message; in some aspects, she wasn't even sure she'd get one if she was honest with herself. She hadn't exactly behaved in an adult manner where the woman was concerned which was part of what she wanted to correct. Sighing, she walked over to the window that overlooked part of the zoo, leaning against the casing. She loved watching the animals even if her view was currently marred by her reflection and that silver ring. Her phone vibrating saw it withdrawn from her pocket. Surprised, she quickly replied, "I'm free the rest of the night, if that's convenient for you. I'm currently in my office in Tomkin, but can come to you if you prefer."

Mortll
Mortll looked around her she would rather have a sit down here but seeing as how the other woman had an allergy to Mortlls second family the meeting would have to be elsewhere. Text: Tomkin is fine with me . She hadn’t expected the small town the Voodoo Dragons had taken over to become a sort of Refuge for vampires but That is exactly what it had become of late. It had become a haven for those who were starting to see Harper Rock as a lost cause mostly due to the actions of the woman she was about to meet. Mortll was curious as to what any if any explanations that she could possibly give.

Amalea
"I'll see you shortly." She replied instantly. There was a bit of surprise that Mortll was willing to come to her; all of the others she had met with, she had gone to. She'd wanted everyone to feel like they were in control and felt safe, if she was honest. Sliding her phone back in her pocket, she checked her reflection in the window; fingers rising to run lightly first over the silver ring before fixing the wayward strand of hair. Returning to her desk, she called Lita to have the thrall bring up some refreshments and tell the other employees to take an early night with compensation. If Mortll was willing to come to her, the least she could do was make the setting secure and comfortable.

Mortll
Mortll stepped out of Jardin and walked across the street taking the train to Tomkin She looked up at Dragon tower then across the street to the building that Amalea owned. Soon she was inside shaking off the cold and asking the receptionist or whatever she was if she could see Amalea.

Amalea
"Of course, she's expecting you. Upstairs and then back right corner. It'll be the only office with a light on." Lita smiled politely at the woman she was told to expect. "I'll let her know you're on your way up." She pressed the buzzer on the intercom to let the red-head know her visitor had arrived as soon as the woman walked away.

Amalea
Amalea's ears perked at the sound of the buzzer, knowing it heralded the arrival of Mortll. Smoothing her hands against her jeans, she moved towards the door to greet the woman. "Come in. I appreciate you coming here, but I would have come to you." She gestured the woman inside, "Your choice - seating area or the desk?"

Mortll
Mortll headed towards the Seating area might as well be comfortable. "No problem i need a hunting break anyway too much Work and no play make Mortll a dull girl " She smiled at the woman as she sat down " So what is on your mind ?"

Amalea
She wasn't overly surprised the wine went untouched; she could hardly blame the woman despite it being an unopened bottle. Hadn't she just experienced someone tampering with her own drink? "I should have come to you when I chose to leave Voodoo and given you my reasons then instead of just disappearing without a word." She shook her head slightly, "For that I apologize. At the time, I was still upset and a bit angry that you had told me to talk to Mord after he threatened me. Between that, his threat and the bomb threat made in the Labryinth, I had kind of reached a breaking point. So I left." She sighed softly, "After some time, I realized I was being an idiot, but by then, I knew that there was likely no way anyone would want me there. I should have talked to you earlier and for that, I'm sorry."

Mortll
"Heh " it was a involuntary sound that came from her hearing the blood thief’s words " You weren’t thinking ? That is a understatement What you have done is set that thing free and probably doomed us and human kind ... Have you seen what is going on out there ? And from what little i heard ... this wont be the end of it ... what if this thing can tear the rift wide open enough to merge the shadow realm and here ... You are human you have no idea what the shadow realm is .... but im sure you have heard stories ... You want to let her unleash hell on earth and have everything consumed by it ?"

Amalea
"No, I don't," the red-head answered the last question first. She sighed lightly, "I have seen what's going on; it's very hard to avoid seeing, really." There was a slight shake of her head, "She said opening it would require continuous effort which suggests there's a way to stop it. I just haven't been able to figure out what that is, aside from killing her, which right now is impossible as I suspect she's holed up in her chamber below the Labryinth." A soft, bitter laugh rose from the red-head, "Believe me, if I could get my hands on her, I'd do everything in my power to kill her and ensure she could never return from the Realm."

Mortll
Mortll laughed at her lack of vision of her just thinking in that little box ..."You really think that after shes been cooped up in that hiding hole of hers all this time she stayed put ... She could be walking among us and we wouldn’t know it. You let her free of her cage girl ....she can move .... How do you think you can stop her?

Amalea
"I don't know, honestly, but she said she wanted to be left alone with her creatures, in a nutshell. Her lair is impossible to find, which is why I believe she returned there. It's a guess, though. Nothing more." She shook her head lightly, "At the moment? I can't. I know that. Kill her now and she'll likely just return from the Realm an angry *****. But that doesn't mean I don't want to find a way to stop and/or kill her."

Mortll
Mortll shook her head one thing she had learned in her time in harper rock was to count on nothing and yet this girl had opened Pandora's box and seemed to be counting on everything ... " Best thing you could have done was walk out of there with the rest of them Yet you didn't ... You know that has price dont you ?" She at her "Some have already paid it "

Amalea
She nodded quietly for a moment. "Believe me... I wish I had. I also wish people would believe me about not being in my right mind but that's about as likely as seeing an unicorn run through the city." There was a soft sigh, "Everything has a price, yes. I can't say I'm fond of the idea of an eternity of nothingness though. Or whatever it is that happens to humans."

Mortll
Mortll was silent for a moment "Well i wish i could tell you it wont happen But Whatever happened down there cost me my childe I dont know his reasoning i just know he went into the void and now i can't find any trace of him he is non existent ... What your price is ii dont know it will be seen at least you are owning your part in it .... That is more than i can say for most ."

Amalea
The red-head blinked as she processed what the necromancer was saying. "I wish I could tell you what occurred to cause that choice, but I can't think of a specific thing that would have led to it. I am sorry to hear it, though. He was a good man." She nodded slightly, "I have no reason to hide it; never planned to - video or not. No matter if I was myself or not, no matter if I'm believed on that or not...it was my doing. Even if one believes it, it still doesn't negate the end result. I just wish I had been able to tell people about it myself. If I can't own up to it... then there's no way to move forward in trying to make things right with the people I've hurt or even within the city."

Mortll
"Well i wish you luck ... you are going to need it... I can't say what will happen i dont know myself yet ... If you come out of this you will come out stronger .... Im no stranger to stupid mistakes you always have to pay the price ... So we will see . " Mortll stood "Good Luck Amalea "

Amalea
"Thank you. I can only hope that whatever the price it isn't permanently final, but I know I really don't get a choice in that matter." She gave Mortll a small smile, "But I appreciate the sentiment, really. I do hope to come out of whatever storm stronger; time will tell though." She stood as the woman did, "Thank you, for coming, Mortll. I can only hope we'll be able to sit down again in the future for a chat or two."

Mortll
"I hope so too " for what it was worth Mortll really did mean that ... but it wasn't going to curtail what she had to do. She turned and walked out of the office not liking what she knew was going to happen but more sure of why it was necessary

Amalea
Her nose wrinkled as she watched the necromancer leave. There was little doubt that she would be seeing the woman again soon and the circumstances would be less than pleasant. She wasn't an idiot; a woman scorned was dangerous. One who'd lost a child, even if it wasn't biological, was even more so. There was little the red-head could do beyond hoping to survive the encounter with the barest thread of life.
