Way down to that floor's been blocked by some ritual, got a call from Prudence requesting I pop over to Aeryn and get her to dump a public house ritual on that place. Fronted the cash, got the all okay from Aeryn using the location tag above.

No Dice, Pru gets the mysterious force message, tries again a few minutes after, still no go.

Yeah, David himself just said that rit should do the trick so marking it an A.

Also been told it was the Claim Abode Power that was used, and that someone else reckons Public House never been able to trump that.

I wasn't aware of a ritual that overrode Claim Abode myself but Public House *is* supposed to do the job. If that is correct, then this is indeed a bug.

It can be countered, it's temporary, and it's on one specific target at a time.

I've never had Public House override Claim Abode, so I wasn't aware it was supposed to be able to.

For the record, we tested it on another location - and it did not allow the claimed character to enter the building.

So, if it is supposed to trump Claim Abode, it is, in fact, not.

I might have been wrong. Can anyone remember years ago whether or not it was said that it should trump it?

The only thing mentioned about trumping, is Public House trumps Fortify Abode, not Claim Abode, per the wiki.

I went looking on the forum and couldn't find a reference to Public House trumping Claim Abode. The only thing I could find mentioned was it trumped Fortify Abode.

Yeah, I saw that the other day.

Perhaps I'm remembering wrong.

What makes most sense? It's a tricky one, because the power is only useful against one target at a time, so I'm unsure if Public House *should* trump it. But then again ... something probably should, maybe?

I agree that something should, why not Public House?
