Kira ran the towel over her hair while Sof and Artio were still in the tub playing. It was hard trying to take a shower with cats who happen to love water. Anytime they heard the shower come on, they ran for the bathroom then of course demanded to be let in if the door was closed. As the steam from the mirror cleared, she didn’t see herself. The woman in the mirror had red hair and wore a cold expression.

“Damn it.” Kira muttered, rolling her eyes before pulling the towel over her face.

“Come on. You’re denying that overwhelming desire to kill someone.” Warrior said, “It’s just an itch that needs to be scratched.”

Kira really wanted to blame Aden. She somehow knew he had been battling, plus she has been pulled into his battles many times. Even though they hunted that paladin together, it didn’t fulfil the need to kill. There was different levels. That need to just go into battle, kill everything there like the creatures that were within the city. Then there was the need to kill, just one person. Making them suffer, letting the much darker part of her out.

“Dark Lady, Dark Lady. Come out to play.” Warrior sung, it was creepy.

Kira tore the towel off her head, “Shut the **** up.” she growled at the mirror. Warrior just grinned. “I have someone in mind, leave me alone.” she muttered. She reached for her hair dryer, by time she looked back to the mirror, she saw herself again. She shook her head, drying her hair. She took a hair stick, which was actually really sharp and could be used to stab someone and put her hair up using it.

She headed out, leaving the farm and going to a different house. She went to the desk, taking out a few papers. They were printed from some websites. There was a guy who got work as a nanny, taking care of babies. He had been fired from all his jobs though after the parents stated that their baby's behavior changed after he started working there but they couldn’t prove anything. Wanting the man out and away from their child, they didn’t think of setting up a camera. If this man really was doing something to such innocent beings, he needed to be put down. Her goal first was to get him to confess that he was a monster then she would go from there.

Kira disappeared, showing up a block away from the man’s house. She perched herself across the street and waited, she didn’t see a car in the drive. She waited, trying to focus on music and ideas for the lounge but found it hard to focus. Then a car pulled up to the drive and she saw him. She jumped down and quickly moved behind him as he went to open the back door. “Excuse me..” she started to say. The man jumped and tried to hide something behind him, in the backseat.

“Ah hi. Can I help you?” the man said nervously.

Kira heard a baby cry behind him. She pushed him aside, seeing the child in a car seat. She took in a deep breath...but she lost it. “Whose kid is this!?” she said, her eyes narrowed. She grabbed the front of his shirt and slammed his face into the metal of the car. The baby cried louder. “Don’t even think about lying to me. Where did you get this child!?” she pushed on his head harder as he struggled to get free. She let up only to throw him to the ground. “Answer me!”

The man fumbled trying to move back away from her. “I...I snatched her ok? I don’t know from who, she was left alone for a minute and I took her...Just take her, leave me alone!”

Kira’s hands tightened into fists. She couldn’t leave the child alone. She summoned Dave to her side.

“What the..” Dave said, looking around. “I wish you would warn me before doing that. What if I was like naked.” he added but then realized something was going on. He looked at the man on the ground. “Oh god, you don’t need to share this side of you with me. I’m not going to be part of this murder.”

“Murder!” the man said.

“Yes murder. You fucked dude, So dead.” Dave said, moving away then heard the baby. “Oh ****, Kira..”

“I know.” Kira said, “This little ****** is the worse kind of evil. He kidnapped her after parents were realizing that he may have been doing things to their children. Can’t get access to them so you decided to take one.” she said, “Watch the child.” she said and moved over to the man. “Well Phil, you had it coming.” she said, grabbing him and disappearing with him.

Dave blinked then looked back to the child. “This is just great.” he said, he removed the car seat from the car and set it on the trunk of the car. “It’s going to be alright.” he said, trying to calm the kid down.

Kira tossed the man on the ground. She had teleported them out to the edge of the city. “I don’t even know where to start. You’re the worst kind of evil there is on this planet.” she said, circling slowly as he sobbed on the ground.

“Let me go...I won’t ever...do anything ever again.” Phil said.

“Let you go…” Kira mused, “You can’t be trusted. There is no reform for someone like you. A bullet to the head is what you need.” she said, leaning in close. “But that wouldn’t be as enjoyable, for me.” she added with a grin. However she wouldn’t be able to take her time with this one. She had to get back. She made him suffer quickly, taking him apart and throwing the parts as far as she could. There were plenty of animals who could finish off the body. The head however, she made sure to crush, scatter his teeth into the river.

Kira returned to the house. She was still pissed though. She didn’t know how to calm down, at least Dave seemed to have calmed the child. She went up to the house, kicked in the door. She started to completely trash the place. She didn’t trash his computer, he could have stuff on their the police would find interesting, not that he would ever go to jail.

She finally came back out of the house, looking at Dave.

“So, now what?” Dave asked, “He didn’t say anything about who he stole her from?”

“He was too busy screaming. He did say before that he saw her left alone for a moment so he took her..” Kira replied, running a hand through her hair. “Even if he did, trying to go near them with the kid would be too dangerous. Too many questions to be asked. Even if we said, oh we just found her...same thing if we went to police. I’m far too well known by the police.” his disappearance would end up going on her record for sure.

Kira sighed, “We’ll wait...the family should be on the news. We can think of a plan then.” she said, “I don’t know if I can hide in shadows with...a child and just drop it off.”

“Well, if we are keeping her for awhile. We are going to need stuff..” Dave said, trying to pass her off to Kira.

“Hey, I don’t want it.” Kira replied.

“She cries every time I put her in the carseat carrier.” Dave said, “And it weighs more than she does.”

Kira ended up with the baby, they stared at each other for a moment like ‘what now’. “What if I break her..” she said softly, like trying not to set the child off.

“You’ll be fine.” Dave said, he thought this was amusing though. Her having to be gentle.

They started off towards a store.

“Ow, why is it grabbing my hair.” Kira complained, not sure how to get her hair free from the child.

“They do that.” Dave said with a smirk. He pointed to the atm. “I’m going to need some money.” he added.

Kira huffed and took out her bank card, she handed it to him to take out the money he needed. He handed it back to her and set the carrier down before heading inside. He came back out with three big bags of stuff.

“****, how much money did you spend?” Kira grumbled.

“Kira, language! Not in front of the child.” Dave said sternly.

Kira looked at the child, “I’m going to a hell I don’t even believe in.” she said. “See, this is a bad idea for me to have it. Maybe you should take it home. I’m going to pass out when the sun comes out anyway.”

“Oh no. I’m not suffering this alone. This is your mess.” Dave said, “I’ll help you since you do pass out but until then, you on baby watch.”

“But I have no idea what to do with thing!” Kira growled, the child started to become fussy and cry. “See!”

“Calm down for one thing.” Dave said, “Use your powers to calm her down, sing to her, something.”

“Let’s get home before we’re spotted.” Kira muttered, her singing did attract people but if it calmed the child down it would be worth it. She shrugged her jacket off and wrapped the baby in it. It would also help to avoid it being seen by the cameras. She started to hum as they headed towards the farm.

Aden had ended up working at Kira's place not long after he got let go from working with Doc. Which he still thought it was a little bit amusing because he didn't need the money. He worked because he like having something to do.

It was a lot easier for him to unload the truck. Then to let her other employees do it since he could do what took them an hour and about 20-25 minutes. And also this way he didn't have to deal with customers. Besides, that she would ask him to be a bouncer. Mostly he just stood there looked intimidating. While her other guys did what needed to be done. Leslie got a bit out of hand that he got the beat on someone. Which never really happened, but he just hoped.

He had been unloading the truck making sure all the boxes were separated into the different piles that she needed him to have them in. He checking the list of inventory making sure everything was done. And look like everything that was were supposed to be and everything had come in. There were no damages that he had to write off everything was going pretty smooth. Then suddenly out of nowhere, he got this horrible feeling. It was like somebody just punched him in the stomach. Then he knew exactly who it was. He almost feels as if he was near her. There was something about their bond only about when they were pushed to limit the other person always knew, but this was different. He had never felt this feeling from her before it was more intense than it ever felt this felt serious.

Cody walked up to him as he would normally hand the list off to Cody or one of the other people before he left. So they could go through the stuff I did the last bit of paperwork part that he never was willing to do. And put the last bit of stuff up where it went it.He was never down doing that except for the heavy stuff. Cody was looking over the list and get glancing at the different piles and smiled as everything seemed to be in order.

Lisa walked up as she was about asked him to move something heavy in one of the rooms before he disappeared like he normally did " Aden would you ......" As she was cut off in the middle of her sentence as all the sudden Aden went down to one knee. He reached up and grabbed the material of her skirt the point that a little bit of blood dripped out of his palm and his nails cut into his skin. His whole aura change everything about him almost became completely different for a moment he was lost in that primal rage as he quickly admitted aura of a stone cold killer. He knew someone had to die. They had to die now. Lisa completely froze as Aden raised his eyes to look at her. They were can completely back his whole face had completely changed from his normal cocky expression.

To her it must've looked like he had just instantly transformed into a demon like in the movies. She was absolutely speechless. She almost turned a little bit white. Cody felt that change and the aura as well and looked over at Aden both were absolutely terrified.

Aden looked up at Lisa " I got Go now." Without another word he quickly stood up, made his way out the back door immediately to his bike. Put on his helmet and the tire screeched as he slid out of the parking lot. Naturally filling out the feeling of where Kira was. It didn't help feel that she was in one place than all the sudden she managed to move as he was almost there. Then he could feel her completely on the other side of town, not just on the other side of town but completely in the outskirts of town. Doing a U-turn in the middle of traffic whipping around and heading the other direction, pushing his bike to the limits.

He was getting close. Could feel her and Dave Mr. ******* Sassy . " What the? Is she hurt?". Then he fell them on the move again, this was getting irritating. He could feel the destination though it's where she always ended up going." **** me!"

So we turned the bike around again and began to head up toward her farmhouse, which he thought it was weird. What was she doing with the farm that she couldn't even hang out with the horses during the day, never understood that he just figured she wanted horses.

He had apparently beat them to the farm as he had pulled his bike up not too far from the front door to make a point that he was there. As he was sitting on his bike, waiting for them to pull into the driveway. He was in quite a mood. He was about to yell at Kira. When he saw David get out of the car and pull the baby out the back seat.

" Holy ******* hell, you let her have a baby! " He looks in the backseat seeing the car seat and the stuff for the baby." Give me the baby. That moment does not need to be near the child.". His whole demeanor completely changes as he reached out for the baby from Dave. " Give me the baby, apparently I'll be staying here for a little while until whatever this is this going on it dealt with. Her with a baby. Are you Crazy Mr. Sassy pants? This better be good."

He softly takes the baby from Dave as he begins to cradle his arms. The baby instantly stopped crying and began to smile. Aden smiles back" Did the mean lady make you cry. I know she mean. Did Mr sassy have to hold you." he looks a Kira "You're going need more stuff." Reaches in is in his pocket, pulls out his card." I don't care how much they cost. There's enough in there to pay for five or seven houses. I want you to go get these specific things now. I want to baby changing bassinet station that also is a playpen. I want a crib and mattress three sets of sheets. And two cases of number three diapers. Yes, there number three don't argue with me. Take the ones that you had back they wont fit."

Looks in the car moves around at the bags." I want you to get Dr. Brown's bottles. Get the full set. Go back and change the baby food and get the gentle formula because it's gonna be hard on her stomach You don't want that. I promise you. Also take back the baby wipes and get the ones that are hypoallergenic. By baby bottle warmer. And by some butt paste, it's the one with the little baby on it. It's the best. Now I get babe squared away in the house." He shook his head.

"Aren't you adorable." He says, looking down at the cute little baby girl in his arms, giving her his finger as she wrapped her little hands around it." This is going to be a very good story" Looks at Kira. then back at Dave." Dave, I need you to also buy one of the diaper disposal things asked the guy or girl there's know what I'm talking about. Make sure you get two boxes of bags. Pin for the card is 345891 do need text it to you?" He didn't really give Dave a chance to respond as he made his way to the house to get the baby out of the cold.

Those who worked for Kira, knew she was a vampire, and they were sure Aden was, expressly now. "And I thought having Kira as a boss was dangerous.." Cody said with a sigh.

Kira stared at Aden, why the hell was he here? "Hey, I'd resent that remark...if it wasn't true." she said, she wouldn't trust herself with something small and innocent, other than an animal.

"She really wasn't that bad." Dave replied.

Kira growled, "I am not mean." she huffed, crossing her arms.

Dave was trying to write down everything on his phone, "Do we really need all this stuff? The kid isn't only going to be here for like two days if that." he protested. Of course, he knew where that would get him so he walked off with his card and got back into the van, taking off.

Kira sighed softly. She went inside. She distracted the animals from the baby smell by feeding them in the other room. She returned to the living room. She sat down on the arm of the sofa, staring at Aden. He was a completely different person right now.

"Guess you can donate that stuff later.." Kira said, she sure didn't want to keep it. She had no use for it. "The worse kind of evil had taken her since no one would hire him anymore to be a nanny. They think he was doing things to their children...so he decided he would just take one." she said, "Just so happens to be the same night I decided to see if what they accused him of was true." she said. "He couldn't tell me who he had taken her from, she was left alone for a moment and he took that chance."

"I can't exactly go to the police with this. They'll ask too many questions." Kira said, "Wanted to see if the family will make a statement so I can track them down and return her directly."

Before Kira could say anything else, there was a high pitch exacted sound. "Oh my god, it's a baby!"

Kira nearly jumped to the ceiling. "Damn it Tessa, don't do that!" she growled.

"Who the hell let you near a baby?" Tessa mused, "Yeah yeah I heard the story but...yeah."

"I am not the monster here. I killed the monster. I saved her." Kira growled at her.

"I know, I know. My little angel of justice." Tessa replied.

"Little? Are you making fun of my size now? You lucky you don't have a body to hurt." Kira replied, crossing her arms.

"Aren't we wound tight. Making you should go get some wine." Tessa suggested.

"**** off." Kira muttered, but went into the kitchen and came back with a glass full of wine plus the bottle since she already had half the glass drank.

"Well, I didn't mean get toasted." Tessa said.

"Why not? As soon as the sun comes up, I'm comatose and everyone is like, oh no Kira and a baby. That's a bad combo. It is, I know it but you all don't need to be such asses about it. I know she is too good for my hands to hold." Kira replied, drinking the rest of the glass.

"Don't think I don't know those lyrics from your upcoming halestorm cover show." Tessa replied.

Kira smirked, "It's a good song and it's true in my case.." she said bitterly. Most things were too good for her hands to hold.

Aden's ears perked up when he heard the word "Halestorm". As he was playing with the baby trying to get it to settle down, knowing that it was probably going to be hungry soon hopefully it was when Dave got back and not before is the worst thing on the planet. The sound of a very angry baby crying. He used the tape of it once to torture a guy and to giving up his comrades on one of the missions when he was a mercenary, They put him in a room with absolutely nothing and speakers hidden in the ceiling where they put the sound of a baby crying on loop didn't take long like 3-4 hour. That man told them everything they ever wanted to know and everything he had done wrong in his entire life. As long as they didn't put them back in that room which they threatened to leave them in there for like three or four days that constant sound of the baby just crying at the top of his lungs.

Babies were cute but when they cried especially as young babies. It was evil he was trying to avoid that situation, which is why he wanted Dave to get the gentle formula, not the normal formula because of it upset the baby stomach. It would just cry until it was time to eat again or finally feel asleep and this would be a miserable situation. He had experienced it once in his life and he was not trying to go through it again.

As he rocked the baby back and forth in his arms and it had slowly began to fall asleep. He made his way over to where Kira was the bottle of wine.

"Wait you actually have decent taste in music? The girls did not say anything about guys doing a Halestorm night. I doubt any of you could sing justice to that woman's voice. There actually one of my top favorite bands. Oh , I'm sorry about the crack at you being a mean lady earlier come on. It was a good one and well-placed. You did the right thing. Valkyrie. I know the babiy. Probably only going to be here for a few days at least that is the best case scenario. I figure we could give all the stuff to the couple that lost the baby or some brand-new couple that has a baby on the way baby stuff a crap ton it'll be worth it for them." The entire time he talked he walked. The way he moved almost rocking his body with his steps to keep the baby in motion with almost effortless ease. His normal aura of defensive and aggressiveness. If had completely changed and something very different.

He was still a bit primitive being. That's just who he was. But now he gave off more of the aura of a lion protecting his Cubs. He seemed to be a bit more playful and a lot less of Dick for some reason. " So I'm guessing we have to wait until probably tomorrow to find out with the baby name is because just calling baby is weird. I'm really hoping he gets back before the baby needs a change or wakes up hungry this is going to suck. If he doesn't have good timing and I did send him with a really big list. I didn't probably think that threw."

"Yes...I like Halestorm. The songs are good." Kira replied, "The guys won't be doing Halestorm. I am, they might help with back up dances though." she said, crossing her arms. "You obviously haven't heard me sing. Harsh songs are easy for me to do, love songs not so much."

"Or songs about sex.." Tess said with a giggle.

Kira rolled her eyes, "Yeah.." she replied, she didn't understand why there were so many songs on the subject. Even though it would make a lot of money, she rather not go that way.

"I'm sure the couple that baby belongs too already has the things they need. Just give the stuff to a poor family with a baby on the way." she said, she looked over at him. This was a different side of him, "I know very well I should stay away from children. I never had a family...so I don't have that nurturing side.."

She hate thinking about the fact that she had no parents and have no idea where she came from. She didn't have a past. Sof curled up around her shoulders, sensing she needed comfort. Kira petted the cat's head as she reached for the remote for the TV, turning it on to the news. There wasn't anything on about a missing baby though at the moment. She got on her phone to look at the news website to see if there was anything there.

"Missing baby, taken from a local park. Annabelle Jennings.." she read, but it didn't list the parents. Just to call the number if you had information. Nope, can't do that. She tried looking up the last name but any phone numbers must be listed as private. "I'm hoping the parents will make a plea on TV then we can find out where they live at.." she said.

Dave showed up, trying to carry everything in. "I...hope...I have everything.." he said, he was so done running around buying **** right now. He went back out to bring more stuff in before flopping on the sofa. "The sun is going to be raising soon."

Kira frowned a little, "Tess, you can watch the news. You don't need sleep so." she said.

"Right right."

Kira got up and started to open boxes to the items Aden wanted, she could at least put some of these crap together before she passed out.

Was really confused when she said songs about sex. Being that was most of Halestorm songs or at least the good ones. Was about sex he was about to say something, then decided not to.

"One of these days, when she has really good sex. She will understand." Which he assumes he is talking to the wraith thing which he gets confused about the whole thing. Floating talking vampires spirit people.


It looks over at Dave "Sorry for being an ***, about the baby stuff and will never get another apology for me ever again. But I will be nice to you for the sake of the baby until this whole thing is over. Then we go back to our normal back-and-forth agreed". He went over and grab one of the set of diapers opening it up getting out one of the small packs of diapers. Then pulling out one diper, grabbing baby wipes and setting them all down on the couch. He smiles and walks over to Dave" Can you hold the cute little thing for a moment. I'm going to set up the changing station change her."

He walks over watching Kira try to assemble the baby stuff which was always more complicated than it should be. " How about you just relax. Sit on the couch drink your glass of wine before sun comes up. If you passing out on the couch. I'll carry you up to your room. Dave has enough to deal with already."

He reaches over pulls out the parts of the bassinet and quickly begins to put it together once you get it done flipping it the opposite way. As it turned into a changing station. "You did great by the way Dave. And I know that the poop can seems unreasonable when you have a vampire nose there's something about the power baby poop. the kick you in the face.as well it will make this whole house smell too. Don't want that to happen either it's scary enough when you're just a regular human trust me."

He reaches out from Dave taking the baby setting her from the bassinet pulling out the last stuff from the bags that Dave had gotten. Getting out the baby powder the baby but paste and setting them up beside the little training station in a little assembly line. Then like he was a pit crew NASCAR he went to work changing the baby in a quick, efficient manner as if he had done it 1 billion times immense get the diaper on the right top right way the first time and taped up perfectly." Look at you all cleaned up, didn't even have diaper rash between your mom and dad have been airing you out giving you good baths. We have to air you out here in a few hours."

Holding the old diaper was perfectly in a little ball taped together, walking over. Opening the diaper ceiling container that Dave had bought. With the drop in the diaper and remember there wasn't a bag. Went back to the bags set the diaper down on the changing station pulled out the box that the bags came in pulled one out while still holding the baby shaking it out and then putting the diaper back in the bag. The canned sliding the bag in popping the top stuffing it around with one hand. Closing the lid putting the topic on and twisting it now who was sealed in its container. He was happy.


Then he walked back over to the bags snaking through them getting the bottle and the formula caring in one hand and the baby in the other making his way to the kitchen. He seemed quite natural to him. Holding the baby talking to her and being quite sweet as he made the bottle checking it several times on the inside of his wrist, making sure that it wasn't too hot and it was just perfect before heading her the bottle making his way back holding the bottle so that it wouldn't fall as she began to drink.

He smiled and walked over to Kira" Scoot over to the corner of the couch, relax your arm because you're getting the baby if you like it or not. And you both should probably fall asleep together to look adorable. Dave will probably cry." He says with a bit of sarcasm in his tone.

The wraith laughed, "Well, that shouldn't be too much longer. Huh, Kira..."

Kira blinked, hiding behind the big box the baby stuff came in. "Please don't bring up the word wedding. This whole planning thing is a nightmare." she muttered. There was no date planned or anything but she still felt like she wasn't ready for it. She tilted her head, "God, what language is this in?" she said, turning the manual over. "Fine." she said, she got up and relaxed back onto the sofa and finished off her wine. "No, I don't think you should take me to my room. Dave can though." she said. She was sure Reggie had a problem with Dave carrying her comatose self around but would see him as less of a threat. "Or just leave me here. Whatever."

Dave shrugged, he was used to carrying her around while she was passed out for one reason or another.

Kira looked over the back of the sofa. "That smell is from her.." she said in horror. How did something so small make that? And she thought the cats litter box was bad.

She watched Aden closely, this was a whole different side to him. It was kind of weird really. Things of the past that he didn't share of course. She relaxed back into the sofa, feeling the warmth of the wine and the tug of sleep from the sun raising. She closed her eyes, she was like a cat ready for a long nap. Until Aden brought up holding the baby, her eyes snapped open.

"Wait, what." Kira protested, "Didn't we agree that babies and me are not a good combo. Unnatural.." she said but it was too late. She stared down at the baby that looked back at her.

"Take it back before I break it, ruin it or s-some...thing..." Kira said, she couldn't fight the sleep any longer. Her head fell back to the side, against the sofa but her arm and shoulder was supported by the sofa, which supported the baby.

Dave chuckled, "This is a rather odd sight, cute though." he said, brushing back some of Kira's hair so it was out of the baby's face.

Looks over at Dave " See I told you totally worth it, you should take a picture."

He watched as the little baby named "Annabelle" grab some of Kira hair and wrap her cute little fingers around it. As she snuggled herself into her arms. " So much cuteness."

Then he turned back to finishing the last of the baby stuff which would normally have taken someone several hours took him about 20 minutes or so. He already had pretty impressive coordination when he was a human thing a vampire had made it even better it was like his fingers did exactly what he wanted them to do. Once he was done setting everything up. And as he did he could feel the pull of the sun being up feeling quite tired and groggy.

He was glad that he had the experience of in a mercenary. In all the special forces training that he had been through. It made it easier for him to be to get some things done the sun was up. It wasn't easy it always felt that you had been about 24 hours and as the day went on it's like most multiplied making more and more tired. Like you are on a field mission and you had been awake two days or three days.

" Tess, I think that's what she said your name was. Do not let Mr. Sassy pants I mean Dave. Sorry, it's a habit. Over here do all the work. He's going to need a nap and some rest. Please wake me up I can stay up a few hours and then go back to bed I'll be alright. Just say with a this with a little bit of bass in your voice you or Dave. Bloody Red time to move out. I've been conditioned to wake up to that instantly. I'll be a bit groggy at first give me a second or so."

Reaching over and softly scooping the baby up and removing her cute little fingers from Kira's hair. "Thank God the car ride did the trick and she's probably going to stay asleep. She'll probably wake up wanting her bottle. I will have it all set up all you have to do is put water in it to the waterline shake and put it in the baby bottle warmer. It goes all set it up for the right time, so just check in on your wrist make sure it's not too hot." He said as he walked over and sat her down the bassinet and covered her with the cute little blankets tucking them around her turning her into a baby cocoon-like they teach you at the hospital and in all the baby classes.

Aden gets up and makes his way to the kitchen setting the two bottles out and putting the formula and the right amount in like three bottles. Sets up the bottle warmer with the water and everything it needs in it and set the timer for about three minutes.

Then he turns and looks at Dave his eyes turned black this whole face kind of turns into a snarl looking like a beast ready to rip his head off " I'll be carrying her to her room. And you guys better wake me. I don't want to have to explain to her why to have to break a limb or a finger?"

Slowly reaching down as he made his way to the couch scooping Kira up as if she weighed nothing softly cradling her in his arms and slowly beginning to make his way back towards her room. Pushes the door open with his foot. Once he gets close to the bed managing to lean down grabbing her sheets and tossing them some to the side so that he could lay her there without having to pick her up again. He softly took off her shoes setting them
besides the bed.

He stood there for a second looking at her as she laid there passed out. And again his normal expression was not to be seen. She was pretty but that's not what he saw. It was weird that he had picked the name Valkyrie for her. The more he got to know her and the closer they became true in his eyes. Aswell the more he felt it was right in the heart if he still had one. " I do love you, you know. But in my own mess up way. You are my warrior, Angel. The only connection I truly have to this plane. I'm glad Odin guided me to you." He covered her up tucking her in. He softly leaned down and kissed her forehead." I am the demon you have at your a becking call. I will always have your back. He made his way back down to the living room plopping down on the couch taking off his shoes and curling up putting a little pillow under his head." I'm going to sleep here. If Reggie has a problem with me carrying her up there he can deal with it himself."

Then within seconds he was passed out.

Dave was taken back by the looks Aden gave him. "Hum, I don't think that's a good idea.." he started when Aden went to pick up Kira. God, if Reggie was here, he didn't want to see two killers fighting. And Kira not awake to stab them both.

"I'm already in charge of watching the the TV for information. I'm the only one who doesn't need to sleep." Tess replied.

Dave shook his head and curled up on a pull out cot. He already was up long enough. He kept odd hours because of her. He put his arm over his face with a sigh.

Tess watched the news all day, god it was boring. Finally the news went back to the baby. She was sure she had seen the house they were showing, the parents were pleading to bring back their baby. Tess left the house and went to the location, she confirmed the address and rushed back. "Dave! Wake up. Write this address down! Wake up!"

Dave fell out of the cot, "Damn it.." he groaned. He rubbed his eyes before getting off the floor. He grabbed a notepad and a pen, writing down the address the wraith said. "So this is where the baby lives?"

"Yes, I've pass that house a lot to my way to the clubs. Next to a park, real nice." Tess replied. The baby started to fuss.

"I'm pretty sure you wake her up." Dave muttered and went to go see if there was anything wrong. "Why don't you wake him up, I am not saying that sentence." he added, warming up a bottle.

"Me? What was it again? Sun is setting, should be getting up anyway." Tess said, it wouldn't sound right if she said it. "Bloody Red, time to move out." Marcus took over instead.

"Right, that.." Dave said, this whole split personality of this wraith was weird, even for this damn town.

Kira tried opening her eyes but all she felt was a furry warm mass on her face. She pushed Sof off, "If I was human, I'd say you were trying to kill me.." she muttered, brushing the fur off her face. She looked around, not remembering how she got here. She yawned and got out of bed, running a hand through her hair as she headed downstairs. She stopped when she saw all the stuff for the baby and then there was Dave and Aden.

"Right...so that happened." she said, "Please tell me we have an address."

"We do." Dave replied as he tested the bottle temperature.

"Good.." Kira said, "Let's get this kid back to her parents and all this stuff donated and out of my house."

"Me? What was it again? Sun is setting, should be getting up anyway." Tess said, it wouldn't sound right if she said it. "Bloody Red, time to move out." Marcus took over instead.

Aden heard the words and was literally in the air before the word move was even spoken. In the air he patted his body down checking his weapons and had a mental count of how much ammo he had before he ever hit the ground. His eyes had completely turned black like a shark.The expression on his face like he was going to rip someone through and through. Would hit the ground he looked around tactically scanning the room and then his face slowly came back to normal. He shook his head violently as if he was clearing the cobwebs.

" Why am I awake now like like just before sunsets? We were supposed to wake me to do a shift with the baby". Giving Dave the I would totally break you look. But knowing that Valkyrie was probably going to come down the stairs here pretty soon. As Dave's and his feud is supposed to be relatively on hold while the baby is here because he was impressed by how well Dave has been holding up.

Then Valkyrie came walking down the stairs.

Listening to her back and forth with them.

" So it was to just drop by middle the night put a baby in the crib and be like tada baby be returned? Whatever the Canada's version of the FBI is is probably at the parents house right now. And I'm pretty sure there's a lot of them they got tape recorders set up their phone at ready for the ransom demand for the baby. I'm pretty sure cops and detectives are like swarming the city."
