Right. So, there's been one vampire that's been cured, but not without hardships during the process, and after either. You can check out the "Before butterfly wings" thread with Lancaster, Gideon and Hannah. Also check out the thread in this area about naughty rogue Lancaster.

That being said, I'm offering up opportunities (a couple) to those that will rp the change. It takes time and multiple injections. Your character can be willing or...not.

I'm only offering two chances for now, as rl busy and experimentation results are something he's interested. Reply, or pm if interested.

I would greatly like to get involved in this. I have two characters that would both do it...but I don't want both to be done.

Varo Ricci and Patrick (those are the account names)

Varo Ricci is far more desperate, he's wanted to be human again basically since he became a vampire. He pretty much considers being a vampire a curse and would literally do anything to be human if he was capable of it. I would much prefer this one because he's far more emotionally invested in this, he tried defending the cure and basically hates that vampires would even think about trying to destroy it. Basically I think I can make a better storyline with Varo then Patrick.

Patrick is less desperate but only because he's more in tuned with society already even as a vampire, buying contraband blood is very common for him, or feeding off of things like rats. He's typically very non violent and mostly wants to be human because he simply doesn't want to have to rely on feeding off of blood anymore.

I'm watching this thread. I've got 3 potentials, which I might very well do all three. I just need to contact David/Josh for a few things before we can get this going!

I could see Jarrett taking the cure but how does that all work on the grid. Do they really become human again? O.o what happens with all the pxp and powers.

Yes, they really become human. So long as they go through the entire ordeal.
I believe they keep their pxp and get a refund based off powers they "purchased" in the past.

Okay! So I have 4...maybe 5 wanting to do the Cure route.
Before I 'pick' the first two...I want everyone to be absolutely certain that you're okay with the side effects and that you're gonna rp it out. Like once a week/flashbacks is fine-but something.
The transformation takes over a month...jsuk.

I don't want anyone to get discouraged if they don't get picked the first go around. I just plan on doing two for now and then doing the other two...or three later. I'm about to have a baby irl in just over a month...so I don't want to bombard myself with doing too many rps at once over the cure. I'll start 2 now and then hopefully around march the rest. Unless something changes in game with the cure or gideon.

I would like to update I'm taking Patrick off the list. As much as he IC wants the cure, it really woudn't change all that much for him. Varo Ricci I will absolutely rp out however, as I've been doing one person stories about this for quite awhile, and any rp's he's been in it's been at the very least on the back of his mind while he does whatever it is.

I'll definitely accept the change for him (as much as I'll miss some of his powers) but the main reason I want him is for rp reasons anyway, so don't really care too much about that.

Really? I kind of would have assumed it was the same way a human would go to vampire, they end up losing all the pxp they've spent I think right?

I definitely won't complain about a refund of course, I have spent quite a bit of pxp on varo, just want to make sure I don't get my hopes up if it might not actually happen.

I believe lancaster got all his back, or a great majority.
I'd have to ask chloe to verify....but I will ask.
