Playing with dead things. (Ripper, Open)

It was a cold night in hell or so it seemed with all the Vampires running around. They kinda reminded her of fleas… they suck blood and breed like rabbits. No way of stopping them, they just keep coming and coming. She gave a slight sigh and glanced at her which she does quite often as to being on alert twenty-four seven even in sleeping mode. Forecast read as cold and possible snow this evening. Well, they seem to be right about that, it is snowing but just how many feet or inches will we get up here?

She bundled up in her dark leather to blend in with the night skies the snow not helping much of her shadowing as of late unless perhaps it was a blizzard and she wore white, but those who did that during this time of season got mocked at.. Never wear white during winter season they said. Who the **** cares what color one wears at what season? She wore whatever ******* color she wanted. She could care less about the stares she got, she’d just end up giving them the ******* finger and say “What the **** you looking at *****???”

That usually makes them look the other way until you get some mouthy **** getting up in yo face and that’s when you have to just do a little more than to give her “That” look and “Those” words. This time it was a bloody ******* Lick. God she hated them with a passion and out came that sword and the lick backed off and said. “Look, I was just kidding man, I just wanted to scare you. You don’t need to off me. “He was begging for sure and she gave a smile and said. “Sure why not…. I’ll let you go this time. “ Or so she would make the lick think oh she was a cool hunter, and just as the lick turned she took that sword with one swipe and the head went rolling down the aisle.

Poor lick must be a young one she said more so to herself and gave a shake of her head while staring at the body. Most would have gone to ashes if they were older. Just as another figure had been watching faith from the shadows a smile formed on his lips while he checked her out in that leather. He did not make himself knowledgeable at this time. He could tell that this hunter was no joke. She knew how to wield that weapon like a pro and there for keeping his distance from her for now

Ripper sees something that reminds them of a deeply sad or troubling moment in their past, which they have not yet shared with the others present.

Every once in a long and seldom while Ripper actually did manage to have a quiet night in alone at his church. The location had been indelibly tied to his name now somehow through the events of the past, so as a consequence it was usually the first place people would look when they need a bone to be picked.

This had resulted in having him take increasingly long sojourns to now avoid his favored haunt and, of course, once he let Noelle in there were always cameras now and he refused to have and sneak into his own lair. Ever faithful Doppel had let him in the back way this time and we would have stayed buried to if it wasn't how that I need to nip down to the corner store for a pint and another carton of smokes.

Yeah, I noticed the human. Yeah I know it's local information that a vampire is now inhabiting the abandoned church. I still didn't see any reason so to lock my doors yet, ya know? There was just no keeping humans out of things anyways...

Moonlight Manor across the way was still boarded and shut up with no signs of life illuminating it from the inside. Who knows what the odds are of it ever becoming inhabited again? Perhaps he should back go over there tonight anyways just for old times sake and have a look around the place.

After discarding the remains of what was left of that vampire she glanced over at the church, something about that church gave her an uneasy feeling and normally that's not a good sign, the church is not holy, she had a knack for stuff such as sensing holy grounds. She had studied the Vampire that was eyeballing the Manor across the way and yea that gnawed at her curiosity as well and canted her head slightly in that direction. "Odd looking place isn't it?" She said quietly to Ripper her tone had calmed down some after that fight she just had.

she gave a soft sigh and glanced down at her leather boots and goes to adjust the straps on them and placed her blade back inside of its sheath and then glanced up at Ripper. " Have a good day and keep out of my sight. " Was that a promise or a threat? only one knows the truth of that if he continues to be in her presences. She started to head off back to her home. Not much of a permanent home but good enough for the night. Never stay in one place as a hunter, or you'll have more licks knocking at your door wanting your head or blood or whichever came first. And so, she whistled that famous tune that one does after a satisfying night with whomever.

Was she talking to him?

“Are you talking to me?” the Killer could not help but wonder outloud. He didn’t see any body else around in the area and it sure seemed like she was looking directly at him but her words made no sense in this context.

Ripper says:"alright, so than do your self a big favor for a next time then and remember to keep your eyes closed tightly shut then in the first place . "

Something about her off-hand critique of the once stately lake front abode set his haunches up on prickle. She was obviously fully ignorant of the building and it’s history nor the amount of great privileges that were once able to be found in there.

Plus from the fact that he didn’t even know her from Lillith only lent more puzzle to this occurrence.

She arched a brow over at Ripper and shook her head. " I do sir believe you need to be placed in an Alysium, I believe I saw one just around the corner from here. She brushed her leather coat down a bit and sighed as she spotted a few blood spots on it. "Now ain't that a *****, that's going to be one tough sucker to remove. " She shook her head and grumbles some as she started to part from Ripper. "How the **** am I suppose to explain this to the cleaners?" Oh ya, I was going around slaughtering Vampires all night long and then she'd look at me like I was the one insane. Well, she might be right about that one.

She shook her head again at the thoughts going through her mind. She laughs again and glanced at Ripper one last time. " Shut my eyes you say? Well now, I hope you don't plan on paying me a visit some night, unexpectedly. Because you just might find this blade slicing your head off. " She goes to pull it out and the handle on the blade falls off and a cling could be heard from the blade itself hitting the pavement. " **** me... This isn't my bloody ******* night.... " She had that British accent going on when she gets angry.

She kicked the blade pretty much close to Ripper and turns and storms off to find her another piece that was better than the one she had that broke. "If it isn't one ******* thing it's another. "

She ran for miles upon miles. Night flitting to day, burrowing underground, and fleeing once more. It had seemed like years since she saw the Sun, even if it was only weeks. Then there was the fact that she would never see the Sunrise ever again. Through the trees she sprinted until time no longer mattered, until the earth was as cold as her skin was now. The snow landed upon her yet she did not feel it; the wind chilled her to the bone yet had no effect. She didn't know anything anymore. Not who she was, what she was...no she knew that. Monster. What was left of Katalina recoiled at the thought but the demon reveled in it. The hunger coiled around her like a snake. She had made sure to stay away from civilization before the demon set in. So she could die out here or whither to nothing. The human in her didn't care so long as the monster was ended before the hunt could begin.

Voices. It could hear voices coming from far off. Not too far. If it made haste, there could be a meal. There would always be leftovers but the creature did not want a frozen host. The thought of fresh, warm blood had saliva pooling in its mouth and it's fangs poking out of it gums and sliding into full extent. The smell of human was tangible at the perimeter of an old, large building coming into view- along with something else. A cross adorned the top and even with the demon taking over her core, Katalina recognized the church. It had no effect on the demon, however, and the figure slunk up to the side without pause.
Peering around the corner, two silhouettes shone out against the snow. The fledgling vampire grinned. The human had it's back turned, digging through the snow and Katalina’s body- an emancipated shell of pale white skin, dark brown tangled hair, and hollow wild blue eyes- took a step closer. Wait. There was someone else there too. A vampire like her but older. That meant a competition that she may not win but it was too hungry. There was no telling when it'd find food again. She shifted her heel back giving a slight crunch that only immortal ears could hear before heading out in the open, straight for her prey.

Time for a snap judgement.

One thing was for certain and this neonate was not in control of her actions. Even a brief assessment could determine from the extreme pallor of their skin and pigmentation of the eyes that this fledgling still was caught up in the throes of feeling overwhelming thirst for the first time and would not be satiated until drinking their fill by tasting life blood from an open source.

"I can maybe give you five minutes." he warns the hapless human who just ill-fatedly dropped their weapon before being attacked. "Why don't you use them to beat feet and get out of town? There's nothing here waiting for you but a violent, bloody death."

He highly doubted she would take his good advice, most people never did, but his part was now done in the offering of it.

Standing in between a feral vampire and her intended target was usually a bad idea at best, but it was the only one that Ripper could come up with at the moment. He had determined here that neither of these two needed to be slain, but if push came to shove than that human had better be wearing some good running shoes.
