Blair brought a shot glass to her lips. She grimaced as she downed her 252, (Bacardi 151, Wild Turkey 101). Holding back a cough, she ordered a Moosehead lager to chase it down. The Handle Bar was quieter than usual, thanks to the "cure." Blair lit a cigarette and lazily glanced toward the stage, also emptier than usual. Her band, For the Blood, a pro vamp goth/punk 4 piece, played on that stage many a night. That changed after the leak. Then a bunch of vamps attack some lab, next thing you know people are marching in the streets, leaving town, staying in at night. No one wanted to see a pro vamp band anymore. They were basically blacklisted, save a few vampire owned venues, but because of the current atmosphere, they couldn't get a gig to save a litter of puppies. So they crashed a protest. Set up right in the path of the march. Blasted their most well known song, in certain circles, Deathwish...
Blair smirked behind her lit cigarette.
So yeah, things went wrong, one thing led to another and a few hotheads rush the band. So Blair hits a guy with a mic stand. A few blows are traded, big deal, then the cops show, and the ******* soldiers. Blair nervously took a generous swig of beer, she didn't want to think about that...
In the end, her band got busted, then left town, and now she was alone and essentially broke in Harper Rock. A Harper Rock spiraling down the shitter, full of those gun toting **** holes. It wasn't the Vampires Blair was worried about, it was the goddamned soldiers.

Even in relaxed casual wear, the shadow path could catch someone's eye. However, not doing so was just as fine to him for tonight, so the fact that the bar was less packed may have been a bit of a welcomed sight... if he would notice that is. He wandered over to the barside, claiming a stool as his, and leaving at least one-stool-space of distance between him and everyone else seated. There were just some nights where taking shots and getting wasted were needed, and tonight might just be one of them. Just making eye contact with the bartender, who acknowledged him with a nod seemed to be enough to order as they didn't both asking Sinister anything and proceeded straight to preparing something.
The feeling of already establishing a pattern and both being remembered and some mutual acquaintance or respect with the bartender was kinda nice, welcoming in fact. Admittedly, a part of him mildly hoped it would be on the house as low as the chance was, and in addition he was pretty bad at being and overly generous tipper at bar when he got really out of it, so frankly he wouldn't be surprised if he had paid for a few drinks in advance before he even walked in, just from tips alone. If that was a price to pay for drinking then so be it, it was well worth it as far as he was concerned.
The knock of a shot glass hitting the counter before him, got his attention and oh yes, there it was, and how sweet. No really, a sweet, cinnamon toast crunch shot in all it's glory: one part Fireball whiskey and one part delectable Rum Chata, garnished with brown sugar was enough to make him smile and shoot a playful look to the bartender like a inside joke was being shared, also: they had an inside joke now. He found his new best friend, or so the thought in his head went as he absent-mindedly cheers the bar counter and took the shot and - ... oh right that's right there was something about vampires can't digest or let alone taste foods wasn't there? Likewise, that was including alcohol.
Just as quick as his head went up and back to take the shot, it ducked down with the louder knock of the near-empty shot glass on the counter hitting harder than usual, and for whatever dumb reason decided to spit out it's former contents on the floor next to him. In retrospect, spitting it back into the glass may have been a smarter move as the vampire placed an elbow on the counter, hand balled into a fist and covering his mouth as if he was in thought when really, the slight widening of his eyes more clearly voiced the realization of the mistake he had just made, as well as the rather loud sound of the shot glass made that sounded louder to him when he recalled it thanks to some feeble embarrassment. He was pretty certain someone near him even glance his way for a second before dismissing it; yes nothing out of the ordinary over here, the sound of thick glassed hitting the bar was a common thing, nothing to see here. He held his look of hoping no one caught the social blunder, complete utter vampire mess up or was staring at him for that quite a while before quietly scoffing a laugh at himself and pinching the bridge of his nose in disappointment in himself. Way to go there, Sin. 10 out of 10, would vampire again.

Blair swigged the last of her Lager and stared at the bottles displayed on shelves behind the bar. Not really staring at them, just toward them. She was debating buying another round, but her cash was running thin, and she had no source of income. **** it, smoke em if you got em. Blair shifted her hips on the bar stool to reach into her pocket for the small wad of bills that represented the last of her livelihood, when she noticed the guy sitting next to her. Kinda cute, actually, he looked sorta familiar...
Blair furrowed her brow, trying to remember where she knew this guy from as she struggled to pull the cash out of her pocket. As she succeeded, homedude spewed his shot all over the floor beside her. She raised her eyebrows and turned in his direction, "Smells like Cinnamon. I'm not a fan either. Thanks for missing my boots." Blair smiled to show she was joking, sort of.

The holding of the bridge of his nose between his thumb and index, evolved into spreading across his face as if to hide it with a face palm. The pose remained before he finally moved a finger away and peeked at the lady next to him to confirm she was indeed talking to him and she had indeed witnessed it all. Eye contact meeting, he laughed and glanced away, his hand slumped off his face and plopped onto the counter.
"Tch... You saw?" he asked rhetorical, and mirroring her smile. "No, Cinnamon is fine..." he lightly tapped the rim of the shot glass all but nearly empty of it's contents, not exactly thinking about a follow up or any sort of excuse as to why the previous scene of him spitting it out on the floor, just happened. "I just, sorted remember what gave me last time's hangover. Like when you're drunk - you think it's good idea to eat fifteen of anything and now you can no longer look at a hotdog the same way, ever again."
"But hey, your welcome, wouldn't want to ruin those ..." he glanced down at her footwear, not at all disappointed. "Wow, knee-high platform boots, with the straps huh? You should see my pair." he mused, feeling some kind of deja vu and that he had defiantly seen those boots before. Yet, damn if he could remember, let alone put a name to her face. Better play along and try to figure out within the new mintues and pray she didn't address him by name or do anything that would make him give himself up.

Blair tried to suppress a grin that began to show itself. "Yeah I get that." Then she remembered him. It was like a eureka moment. After one of her shows. He was new in town, they were both wasted, one thing led to another...
"I know you," Blair replied, pointing at him as she fished out another cigarette, "Something with an S..." She quickly lit her cig and blew out a puff of smoke, "Sin, I think, right?

/ I know you /
His eyes darted to hers and made a quick glance away. Here it comes. ****, he still didn't have a clue on her name, maybe he could fake it? It was hard to remember certain nights, and one of a blackout drunk night wasn't any easier. Still, he still had the fractured vivid memory of her boots, and where they ended he recalled the stockings she wore and... what else?... Her hair. Wasn't it- ?
/ Something with an S... /
His racing thoughts were a bit alarmed at that. He restrained the urge to flicker his attention back to her and remaining there this time. Did he actually use his real name with her than his alias? Damn it, was wasted-him making those stupid 'sin' puns again? He really should've been more careful even if he wasn't sure about settling in Harper Rock - especially now his 'status' changed.
/ Sin, I think, right? /
He exhaled a soft laugh and cracked a smile. The jig is up, she got it right and he could think what letter her name even started with. Abandon ship, and abscond the **** out of there before it's too late. Too bad his inner monologue was more comical than practical.
"You got me - that is my name, love." Sinister admitted, taking notice of the cigarettes and easily distracted as ever tried to think back to whether or not he could have one of those since this whole vampire chang thing. Oh well, probably a questions worth asking Eva next time he saw her than making another blunder in front of this lady.
( To strangers, he uses his alias 'Tsumi' instead, but I'll chalk it up to him being wasted lol)

(ooc: totally my bad

"You got me - that is my name, love."
Blair smiled despite a wave of nervous energy that suddenly gripped her, something she was finding harder and harder to deal with.
Everything is ok, everything is fine, get it together Blair. Just talking at the bar, ****.
She took a large draw of her cig,
"Ah so you do remember me," she said covertly attempting to avoid eye contact. Blair looked around for the bartender,
"So, what brings you to this exciting establishment at this hour of the night," she asked with playful sarcasm,
"I'm about to order another round, what's your poison? Other than Cinnamon that is."

"Oh you know, just here for 'funsies'. And maybe a friend will meet up with me later, or vice-versa though frankly I'm just wasting time - looking for a reason to just be out, you know?" Sinister redirected his view to the near-empty shot glass and touch a fingertip to the it's rim, slightly pulling the smoothed edge forward lifting just enough to tip it towards him. He was pretty honest in that and surprisingly felt comfortable with her given the fact he was forgetting and had no idea whether or not their fling was perceived as something so casual or positive for that matter. Surely, if it was regretful on her end or in any way enough to establish avoidance then she would've left his side by now? He would be indifferent either way but just have another presence and some company did naturally feel better, perhaps keep him from getting bored at the very least.
"As much as I can't believe I'm to say this - I guessing my stomach's rejection rate I should go easy on the 'poison' today and by that I mean not take any... like at all." he shrugged, in that non-verbal vibe of 'eh, it's whatever'.

Blair nodded, "Ok, ok I get that. Everyone wants to get **** faced when they go to the bar, but sometimes you just want to chill." Blair motioned for the bartender and ordered another Lager. She took a generous swig, for the nerves, and finished off her cigarette. She turned on her barstool so she was facing Sin and lightly touched his hand. "It's good to see you again," Blaire smiled, "How have you been since, you know, so much has happened. Sorry if I blew you off or something. I didn't did I?

"Oh yeah, I guess it's has been like a few weeks since we saw each other huh? Borderline a month maybe? Sorry, my memory's a bit fuzzy - to be fair I could probably ask the same - blowing you off or whatever." Sin acknowledged the physical touch, turning to her. Not yet completely adjusting his seating to turn the rest of his body to her less, he'd have to move his hand away from hers and that be an accidental, easily misinterpreted sign.
"My days, all but bleed into one, with some patchy nights here and there. Though for a silver lining I guess I am getting more use to this town and who knows? I might be ready to admit I'm staying and not going anywhere anytime soon." A twist of the wrist of their connected hands allowed him to cup her's. The upper part of her hand being held, just above where the palm met the base of her fingers and he ran his thumb across her middle knuckles. The position was too perfect that he decided not to pass up as he wrapped his grasp tighter around hers and raised them to bring them to his lips and kiss the soft skin just below her knuckles. Perhaps that'd make up for the lack of his body facing her, you know one of those subtle details you're suppose to give to show interest or something. She didn't feel that different, but she definitely smelt different in this a whole new way, but didn't linger too long on it as he lowered her hand and met her gaze.
"How have you been?" Sinister returned the inquiry.
