I have gideon set on strongly prefer guns.
Lately, he's been attacking pcs with his sword even tho he has a gun equipped..

What gives with that?

Could be out of bullets, or it could be that the enemy got too close to use firearms. If the enemy strongly prefers melee weapons, they'll try to get close.

Wasn't out of bullets. This character has only ever shot my character, so I'm assuming they prefer guns.

But I get the latter argument, I'm just not sure that's the case every time
