I need some help on the ooc, but ic frontage.

An NPC here is willing to teach you how to improve your Blood Thief powers. In return he wants the names of 3 vampires, and $50,000 cash. You must witness the vampires feeding or using supernatural abilities with your own eyes, in order to be sure, and all sightings must be fairly recent (within the past month). You will also need 50 PXP.

I need 3. Hannah's not seen anyone using powers or feeding in aaaaaaaages.

Much appreciation ahead of time!

Btw...is that/should that still be a thing, since vampires are sort of...out of the closet? >.>

I'll throw a vampire your way if you give me a human-laden square to swing through.

As for the quest --- I do think it can still be a thing. Because, in spite of vampires being known, there are plenty who have powers to mask what they are / shroud themselves in such a way that their true nature isn't revealed. And humans, even classed, can't see race on character sheets.

I can easily see who is a vampire with my BT by looking at what names pop up in the 'feed' drop-down menu, but that always makes me err. I mean, one would presume a blood thief can tell the difference like vampires can with humans since they're a source of food, but there are vampires who give off mortal aura and that power isn' reflected on the grid, meaning that unless there is a way for a BT to 'sniff out' a vampire, there's really no way for them to know who is what. They don't have a power that reflects that (unless dual as a paladin) or have the power that allows them to sense the undead, but that is, again, not reflected on grid.

I think the only ones who can tell who is a human and who is a vampire (from powers) are paladins, as Josh confirmed that their power would override mortal aura and human complexion.

So, no. I think that this quest remains fairly relevant in spite of the masquerade falling.
Just my 2ยข

---- Either way, give me coordinates and I'll swing a vampire your way.

Thanks guys!

Her coords are at a sec 0, so hannah, in theory -should- be the only one to see a character using powers (she won't report anything, cause she's pro vampire so >.> )

You are currently outside, standing at 9, 15, Westwall.

I'll leave her there for most the night cause she's regaining some energy before I run her again!

And good points, Charlie mun. I see what you're saying!

:D
