Amalea : The tables had been arranged to allow attendees to move freely through the room as well as to leave a space cleared for dancing should anyone be inclined. For decorations, she had chosen simple pieces. Water-filled glass bowls anchored with silver glass pebbles and topped with silver, black, and red floating candles graced each table. Waiters clad in black suits with either red or silver shirts and accents were ready to serve the guests a range of hors d'oeuvres and beverages. As guests arrived, they were presented with a ticket for tonight's raffles.
Urchin was hanging out near the main area, donned in a bright red suit, black dress shirt, a black handkerchief in the breast coat pocket and a black and white bowtie. Silver and black shades cover his piercing blue eyes.
Mannequin is pressed up against the wall look nervous in her crimson cocktail dress.
Doc arrived with Ariadne on his arm. He looked quite pleased with himself, as .. he did, after all.. have a stunner as a date.
Azraeth held open the door for his sire as they arrived, only to take a raffle ticket as it was presented. He was garbed in a simple ebon suit with white shirt, and orange tie, which brought out the blue in his serpent slit eyes.
Mannequin looks at the raffle ticket puzzled.
Amalea had, with Cordelia and Penelope’s help, selected a simple but elegant gunmetal colored gown for the evening. The subtle detail down the front of the gown paired with the bead and lace work at the top had caught her attention the moment she had first been shown the garment. Trying it on only confirmed her thought that it was the ‘one’. For a splash of color, she chose a pair of blood red heart shaped glass earrings. The ensemble was finished with grey heels with red soles.
Doc took the offered raffle ticket, and slid it into his jacket pocket. He glanced at Ari, "Bar or Table?"
Nikolae wore a pinstripe suit and a hat fit for a 1920s cocktail party. He tucked the ticket into a pocket and hooked an arm with Raeth, dragging his eldest into the room to harass his youngest. He flashed a wicked little half grin and snatched Urchin into a one-armed bone-crunching hug.
Ariadne drummed her fingers lightly on Doc's arm as she looked around the room. "Table, I think. I enjoy having my back against a wall, if possible..."
Urchin was hugged, a completely unexpected reaction that took him by surprise, so much his glasses sort of went to the side and barely hung on to the bridge of Urchin's nose and right ear. "Hey, Nik." Urchin's hands go to his glasses to adjust them.
Azraeth was ushered along by his sire, and they came upon a face that was new to him. Though he could immediately sense the connection by blood. He found himself looking into Urchin's eyes to see if he had the Dragomir gaze or if it had skipped him, as it sometimes did. "Introduce us, sire mine." He said with a faint smile, attention focused for the moment on blood.
Amalea smiled as the first guests began arriving to the light melodies of the string quartet. Pleased the staff was doing their job to ensure each guest had a ticket, she decided greeting her guests were in order. Quietly she slipped up beside the trio of Dragomir males, "I hope, Niko, you're not trying to break my employee."
Doc: "A table it is then," Doc nodded and guided Ari through the room to a table where she could have her back to the wall. Secretly he approved her of choice, because he too liked to be able to everything happening around him. However, he knew if something was about to happen, Ari would warn him, so should it turn that he had a blind spot.. he knew he was still covered. Arriving at the table in the corner, he pulled out the seat for Ari. "Perfect view of everything.."
Azraeth: "Nikolae doesn't know his own strength. Remind me to tell you sometime about the broken bones, Lea."
Nikolae dotted a kiss to Urchin's cheek affectionately as he released the man and patted his shoulder in greeting. "Raeth, this is your brother Urchin." He replied with a proud smile, and chuckled to Amalea. "I'd never break one of my dragons, Lea."
Amalea laughed softly at Az's offer, "As long as there's no demonstration, I shall do so." A single eyebrow raised as she took in Niko's attire; it was rather ordinary looking for him. "Nice suit, Niko. And I would hope that you'd at least not break the unhealable ones. I just would hate to have to find and train a replacement for a rather good employee who looks quite spiffy tonight."

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Urchin stuffed a ticket in his pants pocket, glanced at the man next to Nikolae who seemed to be looking at him, or more specifically his face; which was precisely the reason he wore sunglasses in public. A kiss was put on his cheek, followed by a short explanation that all made sense, suddenly. Urchin draped a lazy arm around Nikolae's shoulder, then extended a hand to 'Raeth.' "Hey, how's it going, man?"
Mannequin spots her 'brother' and waves a little....quickly realizing she might cramp his style she puts her hand back down.
Azraeth lifted a brow to the name. Urchin? Well who was he to judge? Some people took new names after being turned, and even if it was his birth name. Well. Azraeth. Nuf said. He took the man's hand, and gave it a tug, dragging Urchin into a loose hug. "It's great to meet you! Welcome to the family." They were sort of 'all in it together' under Nikolae. "You should have seen what he wanted to wear." Az mentioned to Lea. "It's Azraeth, by the way."
Mordechai slipped quietly into the cafe in Honeymead, heading directly to the backroom that held the stage. Entering he noticed quite a few acquaintances and nodded to them as his eyes sought the diminutive blood thief that had invited him. Working his way around the room, he finally settled in the corner, letting the shadows encroach on his space.
Ariadne smiled at Doc and took a seat. "The decor is lovely, but I feel like I only know you and a few others. It's been a while since I've seen new people around here."
Mordechai : Greetings Doc, Ari
Doc after helping Ari to seat herself, asks, "Well.. it's new business. A grand opening. It is to be expected yes?" He glanced toward Amalea sending a smile her way, "Care for a drink? I am going to hunt down a bourbon.. wine for you?" He said just as Mordie strode. "Mordechia! Good to see you old man.. I was about to do a drink run.. anything for you?"
Amalea shook her head, "I can only imagine based on other outfits I've seen him wear. I suppose I have you to thank for reining him in?"
Nikolae brought a hand to his own chest and scoffed at Raeth. "I decided to be good for Lea and not wear that uniform today. Next time though." He winked to his dragons, by blood and by love, which of course included Amalea too.
Urchin: Honestly, Urchin was still trying to figure out this vampire thing and what people did when meeting others like them, or of the same 'family.' His hand was taken and suddenly he was embraced again. "Thanks. And, between us, it's Greyson, but I prefer the other name for a few reasons." Urchin admitted, low enough for just Azraeth to hear. He glanced around, noticing a few other people. "I should probably go be social." Urchin cringed a little. he could be social, with people he sort of knew, but new people and being social...total game over. "Wish me luck." He slaps, Raeth on the back, then heads over to Mannequin.
Mordechai: A blue ice, if you would... Bottle.
Ariadne: "As long as the wine is deep red and slightly viscous, yes. Wine would be lovely." She glanced up at a new voice and nodded as she spotted Mordechai. "Good evening, Mord."
Mordechai nodded in acknowledgement, then turned to Ariadne, "With luck it will be the quality of your imports"
Doc grinned, "Absolutely.." to Mordie, as he looked at Ari, "Dark, deep and full bodied,.. only the best for you my dear.. I will return shortly."
Azraeth pursed his lips at this mention of a uniform from his sire. He suspected it was going to involve a lot of shenanigans. "Good luck." He said quietly to Urchin, as the man pulled away from him and went to go socialize. "Try not to get yourself killed again too soon!" He called out just a little more loudly as the man was walking away. Which left him to squeeze against Nikolae's side. "Speaking of being sociable." He said. "I see some familiar faces. Lea, join us in bothering these lovely people?"
Mannequin caught the eye of one of the servers and smiled.....a nice glass of 'the red' was soon in her hand.
Noelle sat down next to Mannequin and grabbed the glass from her before she could take a sip "What is this?"
Nikolae: "Don't do anything I wouldn't do, Urch" He called after his youngest affectionately. He draped an arm against Raeth's back with a chuckle. "I spose we should make the rounds," He agreed.
Doc made his way to the temporary bar that had been set up for the evening. He placed the orders, specific for Mordie and Ari, then changed his mind. "Tell you want.. Bottle of blue ice; Bottle of the Arbor Vitae you have in stock.. and Bottle of your best whiskey.." He pulled out a credit card. "Two of each. Hold back one set until we call for it.." He winked knowingly and waited as the bartender filled his order.

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Noelle took a sniff, nodded with approval and handed it back to the adopted childe thing.
Urchin stopped in front of Mannequin after some good luck wishes from Azraeth, and a cold hand extended to her. "Welcome to the party. Enjoying yourself?" That seemed like a good place to start, right? Ten-Four. He thought so.
Mannequin: "The house red from what I gather.....How are you?" Quin smiled at her step-sire, it was really good to see her.
Noelle pushed a smooch to her temple "I'm well. Yourself? Staying out of trouble? Anymore issues with those asshats?"
Amalea leaned up on her toes to press a light kiss on Niko's cheek, "Much appreciated. Sounds like we need another, wilder, event soon." She had caught the smile that had aimed at her from across the room and knew she'd head that way soon. "Enjoy your night, Urchin, and don't feel like you have to hurry in tomorrow." A light laugh escaped her lips at Az's suggestion as it was almost as he had read her mind, "Well, I suppose I should. They are my guests after all," she teased softly. "So who is the first victim?"
Mannequin smiled shyly at the stranger, "It's lovely here, thank you for asking....enjoying it so far?"
Mannequin blushed at her step-sire, "no more issues, I learnt my lesson and I think they did too"
Noelle looked over Urchin. She didn't believe she recognized this one. However glancing around the room, she noticed a number of others she did, including Azraeth. She'd need to make introductions shortly.
Azraeth glanced around as he felt an arm against his back. It put Nikolae at the middle of their little trio. He recognized a few faces. Noelle, Doc, Ariadne, Mordie. He decided the best bet was to go with the other gathering. So he nodded towards Ari’s table. "That-a-way."
Ariadne sat there rather awkwardly without Doc. Resisting the urge to chew on her lip or fiddle with her purse as a distraction, she lifted her head and eyed Mord, gesturing to the unoccupied seat at the table. "Would you care to join us?"
Mannequin: "I'm Quin by the way...and this is my..er...well....Step-Sire...." , introducing herself and Noelle to Urchin.
Noelle: You have the wrong term hon.Step means I married your dad or some ****. I am your adopted sire.
Doc returned to the table, with a tray laden with three bottles and three glasses. "That was more difficult than I had envisions.. it's getting close quarters in here.. however.. I made it without making a complete botch of it. " He set the tray down, and followed suit by seating himself next to Ari.
Urchin: She was talking, but eyes that were hidden behind his sunglasses were focused on the cup in Mannequin's hand. "Huh? Wha?" He licked his lips, then snatched the cup out of her hand and gulped it down, so fast that it spilled over the corners of his mouth and down his suit coat. Then, he abruptly turned and began to search for...more. Lots, lots more.
Doc took the wine bottle and pour it slowly into he wine glass and held it out to Ari. He sent a brief glance to Mordie, "No need to stand on ceremony.. help yourself man.."
Noelle raised a brow towards the thirsty one "You may go get her another one now. That was awfully rude."
Nikolae nodded to Raeth, drumming fingers on his eldest's lower back as they moved toward the table. He heard his youngest stammering and quirked a brow. "Making a real impression our little dragon," he mused quietly to Raeth.
Mannequin blushed again, "Whoops! Sorry!.....I'm pretty new to all of this...erm....stuff..." She laughed at this, first derp of the day.
Mannequin: "Well...and I thought I had it bad." Quin watched as the spattered fellow wandered off.
Mordechai: At the words of the titian haired woman he had met a few times, and often saw in the company of Doc, the killer relaxed as a smile graced his countenance," I would be most happy to"
Noelle smooched her temple once more "I'll be right back." She got up and headed over to Mordie. She grazed his cheek with a kiss before looking to Az and Nikolae "I have news for you two."
Ariadne took the offered glass and sniffed it, enjoying the fresh smell of an uncorked bottle. "Always the gentleman, Doc. Thank you."
Azraeth cocked his head a little, listening to Nikolae. He'd taken note of Urchin grabbing and gulping, but for the moment, he didn't see the need to get involved. "Dragons always seem to do that." He murmured lightly to his sire, before they arrived at the table, and he offered a little bow to the ones there. "Good evening!" He said, which was right around the point Noelle arrived. "Uhhh."

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Nikolae: "I hope it's good news. Like you've found a prime spot for our castle to begin construction," he replied to Noelle with a grin, rubbing his hands together, golden serpentine eyes glittering.
Doc relaxed back in his seat and draped an arm on the back of Ari's chair. "Always for you my dear.." He glanced toward the crowd around Amalea. "I think it is quite the well-attended opening for a new business." He lowered his voice, "Any idea what kind of business it is?"
Mannequin went in search of more of the house red....she hoped the other person would be able to keep their cool for the party....the hungry was always gnawing are her so she knew how easy it was to flip.
Mordechai: As he accepted the drink from his friend, the approach of the female that had adopted him, brought another smile to his face. "Noelle, my friend, Doc, and his friend, the lovely Ariadne"
Noelle raised a brow. A castle? They would go big. "Well, not quite. However!!!! This one here..." She nodded to the giant Mordie man. "And this one over there..." pointed to the one Urchin had stolen the drink from. "Are my newly adopted"
Amalea had to wonder if Az had maneuvered Niko into the middle in order to keep an eye on the patriarch given his...flighty tendencies. She certainly didn't mind; she knew she was safe with them at any point and safe from all this eve. Eirene's Will had been placed upon the structure in the off-chance that any would seek to harm another or use violence to object to this venture. "Evening, Doc, Ari, Mord," she greeted the occupants of the table as the other female approached her companions bearing news.
Urchin hadn't heard anything either lady said, instead he was at the bar, sniffing empty glasses, then proceeded to climb; more like swim, over the bar. Once he was over it, the sunglasses were tugged off, and tossed to the floor as bottles were grabbed, opened and then guzzled down. Bright blue eyes, with elongated black pupils dared anyone to stop him, or get in his way as he grabbed bottle after bottle of blood, taking both a defensive and offensive stance behind the bar.
Mannequin watched as the hungry fellow started climbing the bar, "Oh dear...."
Nikolae: "I spose that's on par with castle news," he winked and caught Noelle in a gentle hug. "Congratulations lovey, it's been really good to see you embracing family life again. You're blooming." He dotted a kiss to her cheek and nodded to those at the table in greeting.
Doc 's grin froze on his face. What the **** was Mordie on about?! He tried his best to give Noelle, a passive blank expression, but more than likely, his expression was full on horror at what he just heard. "Hello..." His voice a bit hollow and awed in horror.
Azraeth glanced between Mordie and Quin for a moment as if trying to connect the dots. "Well you would have to have adopted Mordie. I think you would have to have gotten a ladder to bite him in the neck." He said to her. Oh, and look at that. Urchin was having a minor melt down. "This is lovely news, No-No." He said, before dragging the woman into a hug. "You'll have to excuse me though, juuust for a second." And then he ambled over to the bar.
Ariadne nodded to Amalea in greeting before leaning over to whisper a few choice things in Doc's ear. "Not a clue. I assumed cocktail party based on the invite, but the attire doesn't seem to match."
Noelle hugged back some. Hugging...something she wasn't really accustomed to as of late. She released and nodded as he moved off to the crazed one. She was quite content with her newly added. Mordie who could handle anything on his own, but could be her right hand man, and then Quin who was...a bebe and needed so much help still.
Doc nodded in a distracted manner to Ari, as he was still coming to terms with Mordi and Horrid Black-eye-browed-horror. He pushed his whiskey to the side. Tonight was a night he needed his wits about him.
Mannequin: "Eerr...dude....are you okay?..." Quin knew that this was not going to help but felt the need to say....something...to the guy climbing the bar.
Noelle kept eyes on Quin to see what she was doing.
Doc finally looked at Ariadne in a 'did you just hear that ****?' look on his face.
Nikolae: "Doc it's good to see you," He nodded to one of his childers best buddies. The thought struck him and he missed Enzo keenly just that quick. "And always a pleasure to see you, Ariadne. Beautiful as ever." He added warmly.

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Urchin: Slanted black pupils locked on to Mannequin, as his blue eyes narrowed. "Mine!" He held one bottle to his chest, the other in his free hand not far from his mouth, before he snapped at Mannequin like a dog, then dropped into a crouched position to finish the current bottle of blood.
Doc was grateful for Nik's distraction. "Ah.. Good evening Nik.. what a night huh?" He glanced at Ari then to Nik, "She is a stunner.."
Mannequin raised an eyebrow and slowly backed away....after the last time she got into trouble she was not going to upset anyone....welll...maybe.
Ariadne tilted her head to Doc to indicate her understanding of his questioning look. "Nikolae. A pleasure. I feel a bit under-dressed though."
Azraeth arrived at the bar right in time to see Urchin snap at Mannequin like a cornered dog. His hands came to rest on his hips and he eyed his newest sibling. "Apologies." He said to Quin. "He's new. Give me a sec to talk to him, you've done nothing wrong here." He said to her, before his attention turned back fully to Urchin. "Yes, the bottle is yours. Have you fed today?"
Mannequin: The hunger surged in her veins and her vision darkened....."Uh oh...." Darting forward she tried to snatch one of the bottles out of the guys hands.
Nikolae: "Quite a night, Amalea's outdone herself." He was pretty sure he was missing something, but then Nik could be oblivious to things that didn't affect him personally. "I think you look great, Ariadne. I was feeling a 20's vibe myself." He patted his pinstripes proudly. Of course he was half listening to the somewhat mad ravings of his newest acquisition. Dragons always had some little bit of madness, though, so he wasn't too concerned.
Mannequin stopped in her tracks.
Ariadne: "You appear to be appropriately attired, Nik. Most everyone is. It's a well put together event."
Amalea smiled at the small gathering around the table, acknowledging Ari's greeting with an incline of her own head. She made a note to thank Niko later for his comment, but for now she focused on the gathered group, "I'm truly pleased you could all attend."
Mordechai was attired in the same as he always was, black silk shirt over black leathers. An appraising eye ran lightly over the well-dressed ginger. "Ariadne, it is all perception, you look refined, and special, there is no need to match against any standards but your own."
Mannequin: "Sorry.....about....that..." She nodded to Azraeth.
Doc nodded in agreement with Nik's comment. "I adore what you are wearing. I am the ******* envy of every man here." His gaze drifted to those he didn’t know, who were by Az. He said to Nik, "New family...?" about Quin and Urchin.
Mannequin carefully eased herself away from the bar.....the hunger was kicking hard but she could not lose control tonight....not here.
Mordechai: His gaze continued towards the elders of his blood lineage, "Niko, Az, it has been a long time since we hunted, or gathered."
Mannequin sat herself down far away from the bar to avoid another 'reaction'.
Urchin: A foreign, animalistic look was riding the corners of Urchin's eyes as he started at Azraeth as if he were an enemy. As if he were going to take HIS blood. Raeth was now an enemy. The bottle in his hand was dropped before a hand was raised in the air, then brought down, only to miss hitting Azraeth all together. This only enraged Urchin more, causing the other bottle to slip from his hand as he made wild, jagged sweeping motions at the guy, hitting nothing but air.
Noelle excused herself from the group...too many people anyway and grabbed a bottle of bloodwine for Quin. She sat it on the table by her. "Drink up kiddo. You look like you could use it."
Nikolae: "You've got that right, Doc. On both counts." He winked to Ariadne for the former comment Doc had made and nodded. "Yes. I found Urchin not too long ago. And Quin is one of Noelle's brood, welcome among the dragons like blood just the same as our favorite human Amalea." He slid his serpent gaze to Mordechai and smiled a surprised expression. "It has at that, Mord. Forever since we've had a good brawl at the gauntlet, too. Best not tonight though, Lea would kill us." He grinned affectionately and laughed.
Mannequin resisted the urge to drink the bottle down and poured it into a couple of glasses. "Thank you, it's getting better...but jeeze....."
Ariadne raised her eyebrows at Mord and muttered under her breath. "Clearly he doesn't know much about me..."
Mannequin: "I need to create some sort of patch or lozenge....there has to be something to help..." She sipped her 'wine' slowly trying to maintain control.
Noelle: I'll have you talk to Ripper soon.

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Azraeth lifted a hand to wave to Mordie over his shoulder as he heard his name. "No worries." He mentioned to Quin, as she pulled away. He remembered what it was like to be newly turned, the need to feed. And then Urchin was swinging a bottle at him. He stared for a moment. Well this was certainly a turn. He'd heard of vampires who went crazy around blood, but he'd never actually seen it. This could spell out problems. "Alright. Urchie, I think it's time you and I went and had some brotherly bonding time elsewhere." He said.
Noelle: Or...actually let me see if I can find some other info for you too.
Doc silently took note of the names, Quin and Urchin. However, who was who, he wasn’t sure just yet. Both names were ambiguous and neither was sex specific. Quin could be either of them.. as could Urchin. Doc grumbled silently to himself. So much for getting names. He saw Ari's reaction, though he had missed what caused it, he drew a finger along the back of her neck, in a movement reminiscent of her gesture.
Mannequin smiled at her adoptive sire gratefully, "That's rock, I can't just end up like that guy...,"nodding in the direction of the crazy man.
Amalea shook her head in amusement, "Well, it could provide some entertainment, I've never seen what happens when someone tries to fight with Eirene's Will active." With a quick glance at her watch, she quietly excused herself; she had a speech to make.
Mordechai: "Tonight is for Amalea, she is a friend" he replied "With luck there will be no violence" Ears perked at softly spoken words from the beside him, unconsciously nodding to himself as he took in the mutter words. It was true, he did not, but it did not change his opinion of the suitability of the woman’s apparel
Amalea made her way to the stage and waited for the quartet to finish their number, "Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming tonight. We are delighted to have you here to help us celebrate the opening of Sanguine Services. For those who don’t know me, I am Amalea and I am the President of Sanguine Services."
Urchin: He bounded away from Azraeth, and found the bar with his two feet. Hands found glasses and shot them in Azraeth's direction, after making sure there was no blood in them first. None of the glasses actually managed to hit Azraeth, but that didn't stop him. That was, until Urchin found a half filled wine glass with blood. He hissed a warning to Azraeth, before devouring that down in a few large gulps.
Nikolae: "She's a friend and a dragon," he agreed with a nod, then glanced to his two childer curiously. That gave him ideas. "Is it time for the jello wrestling?" He called to Raeth and Urchin hopefully, then turned when Amalea started speaking to listen.
Mannequin: The smell in the air was becoming intoxicating.
Amalea: "Today marks the culmination of an idea that began nearly a year ago. An idea that would expand upon the common donation center model to evolve it to a higher form that would be community oriented. Sanguine Services is more than just a simple blood donation center that supplies local hospitals. Our mission is simple – Improve the community by bettering the lives of all of Harper’s Rock’s residents."
Amalea: "We are unique among our peers. Everything that is donated stays in the community. Hospitals will not be the only benefactor of the center; rather we will be happy to work with any local organization or business that has need of our services."
Doc sat up a bit straighter as Amalea started speaking.
Azraeth felt like he was in a Star Wars movie and Urchin was a storm trooper. However, the breaking glass was not great, and it was a party for Lea, who was a respected family friend. Well. Family by adoption in her own right. It seemed Urchin wanted blood, so he reached into a jacket pocket, pulling a blood bag he'd bought right before the event. He gave the thing a toss up and down in his hand. "Alright. So we're playing that game. If you want it, you have to come with me." He said, before darting towards the door. "NO." He said to Niko, along the way.
Amalea smiled as she finished, "Again, thank you for joining our celebration tonight. We look forward to serving the community as we go forward. Please enjoy your evening."
Doc offered applause for Amalea, hoping to draw the attention away from the conflict happening in the other part of the store.
Mannequin listened to the speech as well as she could, her finger nails driven into the underside of her chair.
Noelle mumbled quietly to Quin "Drink your fuckin drink. You'll feel better."

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Nikolae applauded gently to Amalea's speech, then stuck his tongue out after his eldest.
Mannequin released one of her hands from the chair and got to drinking her 'wine'.
Urchin: With the glass emptied and no more blood to drink, it wasn't difficult for Azraeth to have Urchin's attention. Not when he had the good stuff. "Mine!" He shot after Azraeth, trampling over the bar, sending more drinks and food to the ground and on people at the bar in the process of chasing after Azraeth.
Mannequin carried on with her 'wine' doing her best to ignore the rampaging guy sending glasses everywhere.
Noelle pet her hair some "That's your cousin of sorts...kind of in a weird fucked up non blood or familial way at all."
Doc gave Amalea a smile from across the room. He knew the journey she was starting; and he wanted to support her. He glanced at the ruckus, and then looked back at Amalea and winked.
Mannequin: "Well....at least it's not me tonight"
Azraeth waited to make sure Urchin was on his tail, before slipping through the door. The exact boundary of the ritual which forced neutrality on the location was a little hazy. Or at least, it wasn't immediately obvious where it began and ended. So he just kept trying to perform magic until BLINK. Urchin and Az disappeared right outside of the building.
Aden-OCarrol wanders in looking around softly stroking his beard.
Mannequin: "This place is pretty swish....I'll have to pop in again at some time..." *Quin spoke between mouthfuls.
Nikolae watched Raeth and Urchin depart, puffing a disappointed breath. He never got the jello fight he was spoiling for.
Noelle took a sip of the girl's wine. "I'll have to bring you to voodoo sometime."
Mannequin: "I'd like that, I've been hearing some good things about it...."
Aden-OCarrol walks over to the bar and takes a seat. Wonder what point of bar if can’t drink. Haven’t been to bar since he turned. Hope he does not break anything being not got used to his strength yet.
Doc noticed Aden enter. He leaned toward Ari.. "Excuse me.. I need to renew an acquaintance.. "
Doc stood and mad his way over toward Aden. He leaned against the bar. "Aden.. good to see you.. " he extended his right hand, "How are you?"
Amalea blushed lightly as she yielded the stage to the quartet. She smiled at Doc, following his gaze with a soft groan. That could be interesting. She sidled up to a disappointed Niko, whispering softly, "We'll have to arrange for a Dragomir Jello-wrestling party soon." Smirking, she slipped away before Az popped back in and got suspicious of her whispering.
Ariadne gave Doc a two finger salute and picked up her glass, busying herself with the contents while Doc was away.
Nikolae chuckled affectionately after Amalea and bobbed a nod. "Can't wait."
Aden-OCarrol smirked and shook Doc hand firmly "Sorry missed a few days of work ... Had switch to only night hours only. I am sure you understand why."
Kaelyn glanced around, taking note of those she knew. The blonde made her way over to the table Ari was at. "Ari, you look lovely as always."
Mannequin: "oh....hang on....isn't it a rule about blood on the sixth day?..." Quin looked slightly worried as she asked Noelle. "I suppose it can't be if everyone else is drinking..."
Noelle blinked "Uh what? No? Drink up..."
Ariadne: "Kaelyn. Good to see you. Please, have a seat."
Mannequin relaxed again, "Phew! I do get these things mixed up..."
Doc looked at Aden, "I had wondered.. " he canted his head to the side, "Anyone I know?" Meaning, without saying, 'who is your sire'.
Mannequin poured another large glass of 'wine', she was trying to pace herself...sort of.
Kaelyn glanced at an empty seat, pulled it out and sat down, crossing her legs. "You have been well?"
Aden-OCarrol nods" Call me Redbeard if you could. " Pauses for moment " Valkyrie .. I mean Kira."
Nikolae found himself a nice cushiony seat, easing a few buttons on his shirt open.
Amalea weaved her way through the tables, drawing closer to the pair of women. She recognized one yet not the other, "Good evening, Noelle." She turned to her companion, "I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met?"
Noelle nodded towards Amalea. "Lea, this is my newly adopted childe, Quin. Quin, this is Amalea."
Mannequin looked up and smiled shyly, "Hello, that was a lovely speech by the way..."
Mannequin: "pleased to meet you"
Ariadne nodded and sipped at her wine. "I have been. You?"
Doc: "Ah.. Kira.." He nodded briefly. "I met her just recently. Honestly I cannot say I know her well at all. I will trust she is a good.. " He looked about before adding quietly, "Sire. If you have cause for issue, I would suggest a mediator before violence.. "
Mannequin released one of her hands from the chair and got to drinking her 'wine'.

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Kaelyn nodded as well "I've been doing pretty well. Had been doing a lot of research on something I wanted to purchase....well did purchase in the end."
Amalea was beginning to think she was the only human in attendance. It was quite the irony given a blood collection center typically was for the benefit of humans and it seemed none had attended. "Nice to meet you, Quin. I hope to see you at family functions in the future."
Aden-OCarrol runs his hand through his hair, brushing some out of his face." Valkyrie is want I call her for a reason. I battle for her any day. ". His voice was firm yet not over powering as show his care for her. “Work has been good had to scare a few guys but so far pretty easy gig."
Mannequin smiled and nodded....her hunger was surging again near the woman and she had to keep her mouth shut to avoid showing her extended fangs. "MMMmmmm" She hoped Amalea wouldn't be offended by her tongue tied state...
Doc nodded, "Alright .. so night shift from now on. Leaves an opening on day shift.. if you know anyone. Send them my way. Good luck with your Valkerie." He gave Aden a crooked grin, "I must get back to mine, before someone steals her." With that, Doc headed back to Ariadne's table, Mussed the Chubs' hair before he retook his seat beside Ari. "Apologies Doll.. "
Mannequin: If the fangs didn't disturb her being in her presence probably would pretty quickly.....something about Quin made humans nervous generally...
Amalea eyed the woman carefully and glanced at Noelle in question. "Blood lust?" she queried softly. The red-head really wasn't worried about her safety, but wouldn't want to make the new addition uncomfortable.
Kaelyn tipped her head away from the musings.
Noelle: Something like that.
Ariadne: "Hmm? Ah. No worries. Kaelyn arrived and we had exchanged pleasantries while you were away."
Mannequin nodded sadly.
Doc: "So what did I miss?" He eyed Ari, then Chub and then Ari once more... "Dare i need be worried?"
Noelle turned head towards Quin "Would you like another bottle?"
Nikolae checked his watch surreptitiously. Had it been long enough to allow his dragon creations to commiserate about how amazing Nik was? He thought probably yes and stood up with that unnatural fluidity immortals seemed to have, moving toward the door with a smirk. He paused to blow a kiss to Amalea, then Noelle, and then ducked out.
Mannequin nodded smiling as much as she could in her 'condition'.
Mordechai: "So far i have seen nor heard anything worrying" he raised an eyebrow towards his friend
Noelle nodded towards Niko
Mannequin: Taking what looked like a long straw out of her purse she extended it.
Noelle: You don't need to hide them...she's seen more pointies than you can imagine.
Amalea nodded, "I completely understand. I won't keep you. Enjoy your night and drink as much as you need." She smiled at Noelle as she took her leave, not wanting to cause discomfort. She waved at Niko as he headed for the door, intending to catch up with the Dragomir males later. Hearing Noelle's comment, she laughed, "Or count. Even have a pretty little set of my own." She winked as she moved over to the table occupied by the small group.
Mannequin smiled again....fangs showing. "Okay, I was playing it safe...some people really don't like my 'happy teeth'"
Ariadne eyed Doc and set her glass down. "Worry? Why ever would you worry?"
Kaelyn eyed Doc.
Mannequin laughed feeling a lot more at ease. "The flossing can be a pain..."
Doc drew a breath intent on answering, when he decided... No.Two against one. In public. Shut the **** up Doc. So he shrugged instead.
Ariadne: Mmmm...
Ariadne reached over and ran a fingernail along the back of Doc's neck.
Kaelyn shrugged and looked around to find a drink for herself
Doc relaxed into Ari's caress. Yes. Sometimes, silence was golden.
Kaelyn: Ari, would you like to see what I purchased?
Aden-OCarrol nodded at Doc as head back to the table he came from. He knew 4 people Doc, his sire, her bf and Charlotte. He wonder why he when in side, was Doc aura the killer aura and the rest of the others. He was not quite sure his thirst for battle came an when. Be vampire made it lot worse. Yet felt weird in was he not yet understood, why was drawn in here.. Why was drawn to the town.
Mannequin put her 'modesty straw' back in her purse and got to work on a fresh glass of the house red, her fangs retracted as she drank.
Amalea wondered how she had missed Kaelyn arriving to the small gathering as she spotted the woman seated at her destination table, "Good evening, Kaelyn. Glad you could make it - all of you."
Ariadne: What sort of purchase?

Re: Sanguine Services Opening Gala
Kaelyn offered a smile towards Lea "Good evening. Congratulations." And then to Ari "A collector gun for Stag for v-day."
Ariadne: I would be happy to see it.
Kaelyn showed her the website she had first seen it on. She had then traveled to meet the seller in person and have the gun appraised and checked out before purchasing.
Doc thought... **** its valentine's day already? He glanced at his watch. Yes. He had time.
Aden-OCarrol pulls out his phone and checks his Fb feed.
Amalea smiled softly, "Thank you." It was going to be an interesting venture to say the least. She winced softly at the thought of the 'lovers' holiday'; she was not a fan of the day, if anyone wanted her honest opinion. It was likely a good thing no one had ever asked her about it. She glanced around at the group gathered at the table, "Could I get anyone a drink?"
Ariadne nodded as she inspected the gun in its box. "It's lovely. I'd inspect it, but it appears that all the parts are there. Very nice."
Mordechai 's eyes widened as he leaned forward, his eyes focused on the newcomers phone... "Where...where did you find that?"
Kaelyn smiled some "I had it inspected before purchasing." She then turned to the giant man "A lot of searching and looking for the perfect gift online."
Mordechai: "So few... So few of his earliest works remain"
Kaelyn nods "I think it was less than 150 or something like that. The guy that I had inspect and appraise it was in awe."
Aden-OCarrol turns and looks at who spoke " The phone?"
Doc watched between Chub and Ari. He needed an idea what Ari wanted. How should he steer the conversation?
Kaelyn had gotten good at gift giving.
Kaelyn glanced over to Lea "I would love a drink, please."
Mordechai: The sights and sounds of the room receded for a moment as his total focus was locked to the early work of the Master of his craft. “I have met and respect Stagger, if ever he is in need of work or refurbishing... It would be an honor to work upon such as that," quietly he slipped her a gold embossed black card, with the words 'midKnight Armaments on it
Kaelyn blinked a few times. A vampire that she was not aware of, knew Stagger? Her brow furrowed some. "He doesn't know about this...so don't spill any beans. How do you know, him?"
Doc nodded in concurrence with Mordi's comment.
Kaelyn had also taken the card and slid it into her purse
Mordechai: "We met once.... A contest of sorts... He is.. Honorable, deserving of respect. "
Mannequin sneaks out her stolen cell phone and plays angry birds under the table.
Amalea nodded, "Anything in particular?" She looked around the table, "Something for anyone else?"
Noelle was only here still because of the two childer things. Otherwise she would have ditched long ago
Kaelyn tips her head to the side some "He is...what sort of contest?" Focus on Amalea for a moment "Arbor Vitae of some sort, please."
Mannequin is only still here because the dress is hired and she is getting some use out of it.
Aden-OCarrol slowly get up and start to walk back out, he nods as he eyes meet Docs for moment.
Mordechai: a contest of skills, it was well played by all in attendance. He did quite well by the standards I measured him against. He was not found lacking.
Kaelyn couldn't hide her smile "I would have loved to have seen that. How long ago was this? He's never mentioned..."
Ariadne sipped her drink and just listened to the general conversation.
Mannequin: "DAMN IT!"...Quin quickly pockets her cell and grabs a glass of wine.
Doc met Aden's eyes and nodded ever so slightly.
Noelle raised a brow at Quin "Issues?"
Amalea took the silence that greeted her question as a negative reply. With Kaelyn's request in mind, she went to the bar to order a glass of Passion for the woman. For herself, she ordered a glass of red wine. Taking care not to mix the beverages up, she returned to the table, amused to see the topic of conversation hadn't changed. Setting the glass down in front of Kaelyn, she smiled.
Mordechai glanced at the hostess "May luck be with you in your endeavor. Are you perchance in need of... a drink?"
Mannequin blushed. "Nothing....just....arg....stoopid birds...."
Aden-OCarrol disappears back out the way he came.
Amalea smiled at the killer she had, by some odd stroke of fate, came to know. "Thank you, I'm hoping some good comes of it," her thoughts were occupied, for a moment, with trying to decipher the answer to his question. She knew what he meant, but needed to do the math, "It's getting close, though a day or two off, I think."
Ariadne: I would be happy to see it.
