There was a party in Oldtown last night. I got most the logs, save the stuff after I left-which is a little bit. Anyways, I notice the archives only go for like 1/3 the party if that and everything else after that seems to not be there.

Which is whatever, but ripper did show up towards the very end...I don't have anything for that time. But I did save some rpp for him that doesn't have him posting anything (because it sorta just stops at about the halfway point of the grid chat party, but I was there past that point).

Can I just give him what I have remaining, even tho it doesn't show him actually posting anything (I hope so...I see like a little bit of what he posted, but nothing before hand)?

Where in Oldtown was this? I need a location. Did the location of the characters change half way through or something?

It was the main floor of oldtown...the theatre itself.

No change of characters. I noticed ripper came in when I logged to go to ooc chats the next morning and only could see at most 5 or 6 thing he posted, but not when he entered and the stuff after.

I'm asking if I can give him the remainder, because I have a lot of stuff missing (like him entering and such), so it will basically be him posting nothing that he himself posted, as most of that is missing ><

Yeah looking at the logs there's just nothing else, even in the raw data. Yeah you can give him the remainder, sure.

Does this happen often? Where you'll post lots of roleplay to chat for ages, and it won't be in the logs afterwards?

Although I have yet to try to post up anything from a location chat, I do look at the logs sometimes. They have seen spotty at times but it is not something I am familiar enough with (yet) to know what amount of chatter before and after I enter with Alex s/b viewable. And I am referring to locations she owns so... maybe all chitchats should be.

Just had a New Years party at her shop Saturday night and it seems to all be there in the logs as far as I can tell but I will have to ask the players that stayed after I quit for the night if they said anything after that, as according to the log they did not.

This has s happened three times at most for me personally in about a year. So not a huge issue, but this has happened before, yes

The new chat is one of the next major updates I'll be working on, so it should be fixed when that's done.
