Tara was trying her hardest to get stronger. Her vampire family had problems with cowardly people awhile ago, things seemed to have gone back to normal but she wanted to be more prepared if something happened again. Not to say, she would need to be ready to defend her boyfriend if any vampire found out he was a paladin. She was worried about his well-being.
She spent a lot of time in the QZ, fighting zombies and ferals. She was getting better at it. She had a collection of zombie ears, seemingly these were used for something. It was gross for sure but she could sell them she suppose.
What she wasn't expecting was being attacked there while she was resting. She was caught so off guard that she didn't get a chance to swing back.
Tara growled, she hadn't even done anything to anyone. Who the hell was that? Some guy with long hair. She just recently punched a blood thief in the arm for feeding on her, she wasn't as pissed about that as she was about being just randomly attacked. She looked all over the QZ but she couldn't find him. Was he a paladin? She hadn't gotten a good look.
She sighed softly. She went back to training. When it happened again on another night, she was once again caught off guard, not able to track him down. She held her cell phone, looking at the crownet, wondering if someone from her family could track him, was it possible? She shook her head and put her phone away. She left the QZ, maybe there was some other place for her to train where she wouldn't be bothered.
She thought about asking her boyfriend if maybe she knew the man but she didn't want him to find out why. He'd be pissed and she was sure paladins were not supposed to fight each other. God why did life had to become so complicated, she thought as she ran a hand through her black and purple hair.

Earlier in the night, Gideon channeled his inner hunting skills and hoped to find one of two people. The first being Every, for obvious reasons, the second being this 'Doc' guy. With enough concentration, he had tracked down Doc to some second floor of some building called an 'Eyrie.' He'd never heard of it before, so that was a no go. Some other night, maybe.
He closed his eyes and tried again, and came across a vampire with dark hair that was sitting in a location he knew really well. Where a lot of those blood sucking parasites hung out at. He grabbed his gun, made sure it was loaded, then put it back on the ground beside his crossed legged frame, where he sat in full concentration during his hunting time. He stood slowly, grabbed the cross that was under his black t-shirt and kissed it for good luck. Not that he thought he would need it. The pistol was tucked away behind his back, the shirt covering it and he was off running towards a building called 'Sanctuary.' Whoever owned this place, did him a real good favor.
A few nights back, while searching the main floor, Gideon fell through some hole in the wall, or something. It was hard to explain, but the strange and odd was everywhere to be found in Harper Rock. He had tried to attack some other vampire that his senses tuned into, but it seemed she had some sort of protection power wrapped around her. Gideon attempted to raise his gun and fire a few shots, but he got cold feet or some ****. Was really ******* strange. Twilight zone-ish even. He shrugged it off and went to attack another, but they had gone up the elevator and were gone before he could even get a shot at them.
He used the same route tonight to get to the vampire. Pushed through the hole in the wall and was in the zone with all sorts of creepy **** that just wasn't right. An outright abomination to all things god created. Why didn't anyone just blow this place up, already? Get rid of all the zombies and the vampires hiding places? Maybe he would-some night. For now, he would settled on the dark haired vampire, and that he did. He ran through the flats and while running took some shots at her. He knew he had hit her when he saw red coming from her clothing. Gideon didn't wait to stick around. With the gun back behind his back, he was through the location warp thing and back to his own hide out. Hey, he had to play it safe, until he got the numbers running along with him.

Tara returned home for the night, careful to avoid letting Bryant seeing her wound. No sexy outfits tonight. She would just make it up to him later and played the whole not feeling well. She would pass out as soon as the sun rose and when she woke, the wound was healed. Thankful for either healing fast or the man didn't hit her hard enough.
She quickly took a shower and got dressed. Throwing her hair up in a ponytail then went into the kitchen to make something for Bry to eat. She was still slowly working on eating normal food again, she was thankful that she was the path that could. "I'm off to train! See you later babe!" she called out.
She followed the path from the sewers to the QZ. She hated the sewers with a passion though, the rats...she wasn't fond of them.
Once in the QZ, she made her way to the flats. She could only handle the zombies at the moment, the ferals kept kicking her butt.
Tara looked around, she went around the room and killed every zombie she found before taking a rest and checking her gun. Filling it up with more ammo. She closed her eyes. She was rudely attacked, her reflex kicked in and she fired at him. They had wounded each other this time. "You ********! What have I ever done to you!" she growled at him. Not that he stuck around.
She was fuming. She took out her cell phone, giving Jesse a text. 'Is there a way to track people? Like a human who needs the **** beaten out of him?' she sent to him. She realized she needed help with this.

Gideon wasn't going to change his tactics any time soon. Not when it was a cesspool of potential things for him to attack and kill. No siree. Mona might have more subtle tactics, but Gideon wanted blood here and now. Not in a year from now, not in five. Eventually her day would come, but his was going to be tonight and every night after it.
He was surprised to see the woman near the same spot he had seen her at last night. He didn't go for her. Not at first. Instead, his gaze went to another, standing by the ATM. Something seemed 'unnatural' about her. He watched her for a couple of seconds, then made his move, hitting her with his gun, then turning to shoot another woman a few feet from her. She was quicker than he was, and dodged the spray of bullets sent in her direction, causing him to flee. But, not before he found his current and most 'favorite' target that took Every's place since she seemed to be in hiding. Along with the 'Doc' guy. The one that played with Paladins, Mona said. Gideon hadn't seen much of it. If he was the best of the best when it came to the vampires; the one to be feared the most, Gideon wasn't phased. This city would be his for the taking if that was the case.
His shots slammed into the woman's body again before Gideon was off and running, disappearing into the hidden wall and back across to the other side of town. He didn't hide. Not really. He just stayed in the open, in a public area, where if they decided to come for him, and he hoped they did, it would draw some attention from some onlookers and cause the leeches some real troubling times in the future.
