New Relics

The purpose of this thread is primarily to discuss the clues David gave to find the new relics, or post if you've found one. Obviously, if you'd rather keep the information to yourself (if you find one), that's your prerogative.
The easiest find was probably the Mechanists Mask. It retails for $900,000 in the magic shop, which I believe means that Palterer does not work on it.
The relic does this: Makes weapon parts 30% less likely to degrade in the event of failed improvement attempt.
If I'm remembering correctly, there were a lot of people who were really excited for this particular relic!

Just to confirm, before the question is asked, with almost-max weapon crafting stats, plus this relic, your weapon parts will never downgrade when you fail to improve them, at all.

Four new relics have been added to the game. The locations of them can't be the same as they are in Path, so I've made two of them into random relic loot drops instead.
Enchanted Flak Jacket - random loot drop.
Deft Fencer's Jacket - random loot drop.
The above is quoted from blood.
I would guess the drops of these two relics had to be different on blood because the NPCs they drop from, do not exist on blood? So maybe it could it be assumed, on Path, the relic drop could come from one of the following, Abandoned Sewers, Sewers, Chemical Plant or Foucault Castle? Because those hunting areas all have NPCs that can not be found on blood.

Palterer might not work, but Myk got 10% off anyway. Probably because he's so handsome and skilled with his tongue. >.>
The shady merchant takes your money and hands over the item.
You managed to convince them to give you 10% off.

Just to confirm -- the name of the relic is misleading, so wanted to make sure:
Does this work for both gunsmithing and for metalworking? Or as it's a Mechanists Mask does it work only for Mechanics/Crafting?

It works for both. True, the name is a bit misleading.

Just found one on Az...so that's 3 (at least) found in one day. That does seem a smidge easy to find. >.<
Tho I do have a question: What does it do?
I went to check the inventory, but none of the relics have descriptions. Which means that even if people do get the Deft Fencer's Jacket, and the other 2 not sold in shops, they won't know what they do >.>;;

The relics do usually have descriptions don't they?
