UPDATE: Wendigo Forest

At 23, 41, world, there is a new NPC combat area where you will be able to fight wendigos.
These demifae are tough enemies roughly equivalent to the Lionelli in terms of difficulty and reward. I'll finish adding images for them tomorrow, and also add them to Blood at the same time.
Until now Wendigos had been unseen in modern times, though it seems that they've recently set up home on the outskirts of Harper Rock, possibly drawn by the sundering, or the undead, or maybe just all the death and carnage. These strange creatures were rumoured in ancient times to have been created by the fae, but have seemingly undead characteristics and practice necromancy, which is not something that the fae are usually known for.
In older times, they were said to be cannibalistic spirits who possessed a human through a dream. The human would gradually change into a beast-like monster, who had the appearance of something between a human corpse and a gigantic wolf. The victim would begin consuming human flesh, until the spirit had been sated, and then it would leave to eventually find another host. The living wendigo would continue on as a demifae, hunting and killing humans for food, until it too died and became a wendigo spirit, who would start the process all over again with a new victim. Their reappearance in modern times (in far greater numbers) seems to confirm most of these old legends.
Due to their beastial tendencies and their propensity to feed ravenously on human flesh, it is likely that humans could blame the crimes of these twisted beings on vampires. As such, they could pose a threat to vampires, though they are not interested in feeding on the undead.
