(8 digit grooveshark.com ID)
I checked out grooveshark in order to find out about getting an ID, expecting it to be a regular streaming site like soundcloud or 8tracks, but it looks like a ticket sales website?

Grooveshark shut down about a year ago. There was much sadness.
I haven't figured out a new site yet.

Why can't we have YouTube?
This is sad. :/

QFT
Or remove it altogether. It's a bit bothersome getting the alert pop up for music every square in some places when there is no music to hear if you click.

Yes. Removing it altogether would be my request if we can't access a site to give music. The message at the top is annoying if it is not functional.

Oh man.. it must have been doubly annoying for you. My sympathies..
However in fairness.. it was an AWESOME feature when it worked.. rather sad you did not get to experience it.

Honestly, I'm torn between these two options:
Remove Grooveshark ID and replace it with a system where the user can use another streaming site or playlist link
Offering a maximum of x-storage for lair owners to upload their music to the Mooncalf server (included in the purchase of a lair)
On the one hand, if music is going to be a thing, it would be nice if we could have it from a streaming site that actually worked. Having it uploaded to the Mooncalf server would be a giant drain, I would imagine. However, it would add that extra value to your purchases.

I agree about having something functional if we are to have anything at all. I don't know much about servers and allowable bandwidth or the cost, and as such am not sure whether offering music storage space would be something that is possible, since I don't think it'd be particularly profitable. That said, as you mentioned it, it would add value to purchases. After all, spaces don't come particularly cheap once you've got your fadeportals, elevator, etc calculated in.
I went ahead and made a poll for this.
