Here I am again. Just shy of half a decade and everything I thought would happen has happened. And now we're at the point of no return. The point of integration. It's go time. Time to make it count, or die trying and either one is on the table, staring at me. The book is complete. It's in the works of being published now. I never thought I would write a book, let alone a book about my life as both a man and a vampire, but hell, even I surprise myself sometimes.
And yet, five years have passed and I'm back where I started. In a couple ways. I'm surrounded and supported by familiar faces. Lorde, who is back in California. Lizzie, who is supportive of my choice to come out to the world and a friend I've recently reconnected with...And hell, why not add in my ex-wife as head of security? I'm not an idiot. I know people will want to do things to me. Potentially try and kill me. So when Lel got in contact with me, I knew which position would better suit her. What might tickle her fancy and I've got the cash to get her what she needs and wants for this crazy ride.
I've also got a few new side-kicks coming along for the ride. My Personal assistant and some lawyer she's hired. I figure you can never have too many lawyers and let's not forget about Little Miss Important; Grace. She'll primarily be staying at home in Cali, but I'll be taking her with me to some places and be stopping home every so often. If things to smoothly and if I survive this book tour.
This can't possibly get any stranger. Oh wait. We're vampires. Anything is possible. And everything is strange.

Re: B O O M E R A N G
We started off in Texas and it was amazing. I had people eating out of my hands...or wanting to. I had high hopes that this was the way things were going to go at all stops, but I couldn't have been more wrong. While still on my high of good vibes and making a good deal of cash for the books sold in San Antonio, I was floored when we got to Boston and was met with rage and hatred. Protestors lined the bookstore streets with signs, used a lot of words that I would have used had there not been a few cameras and news channels around. I was feeling defeated and exhausted and unsure of how New York would feel. Would they share the same ill-contempt as Boston?
They didn't. And once again I felt a spark of hope, only to have it vanish as quick as it came when we got to Chicago and ended in Toronto. I think Chicago was still having problems with whatever happened to its 'sister-city' Milwaukee a few weeks ago, and people were just flat out angry there. Would explain the new scar on my right shoulder. It was a pretty close call to say in the least. Thankfully, Lelantos was there and with her calm and collected nature, things ended favorably. Or as favorably as they could for someone in my predicament. It's good to be 'home'. At least I can heal properly now. And get ready for the party tonight. But while it's good to be home, I'd like to be in California more. Soon.
To date, the book has sold over two hundred thousand copies that I know of. I'm still waiting to hear about sales on the west coast, but not bad for two weeks worth of work. Maybe. I'm not real sure how 'good' a book is, judging by how many copies sold. My Publishers say they aren't worried about it, it's only been just shy of two weeks and they're confident they'll make the ten million they paid for it and then some.
