Side Story: Coming Out of the Coffin

Keen on getting heavily involved in this side story, Kaspar particularly has a lot riding on the outcome and would be working on doing his best to ensure that enough people see vampires in a decent light. While his group will be working towards figuring out ways to improve human/vampire relationships and present them as largely willing to cooperate and work together, and it seems quite a few people are doing so as well. Some are already talking about straight up revealing themselves in a very public fashion as a vampire, even Kaspar is considering whether to announce it and get his fan base on side early in the piece.

Is there anyone out there who would outright go against this? Be trying to put the cat back in the bag, as it were, and restore secrecy? Or perhaps people who figured this was the opportunity to declare themselves overlords?

I'd like to do an initial Open thread, people are welcome to participate voicing their views, concerns and suggestions going forwards whether they are there to argue against revealing who is a vampire or in support of it. Basically, people getting the opportunity to decide whether they'll be "coming out of the coffin" or not and what this would mean. It would be in a place once again that was open to the public but specifically hired out for this purpose, invites would be sent out and the vampire community informed.

Syndicate of Novitious members and allies will be encouraged to join in, but this will be an opportunity for anyone who wants to be in a thread but isn't sure how to get involved could join in.

The plan is for this then to lead into a series of other threads, maybe two or three people get talking and come up with an idea they agree on leaving the larger group to go enact this plan etc.

You know I'll be involved in some way, shape or form.

I have a whole bunch of characters to figure out. But Adley'll no doubt be with Kas. XD

I should point out, for the benefit of everyone, that secrecy cannot return at this point. The cat isn't just out of the bag, it's away and over the hills.

I have a character who is going to straight up hate vampires and the fact that they're 'coming out.'

I've got Caligrace who wants to co-mingle.

That's about all I have figured out, but if I find someone that wants to fruitlessly try and shove that wicked cat back in, I'll let you know. <3

David: I am aware of that, and OOC everyone should be but there is always one or two absolute mentals who are like "no, no we can fix this!". If that's a general, rather than pointed, reminder then maybe it should go somewhere more people will be sure to read it but I doubt anyone legitimately thinks they can undo this... I mean, I really HOPE no one would :P. People panic at times like this, some might try to just reel it back in. It's a stupid, but valid reaction and while it couldn't possibly work there might be someone off the rails enough to try.

Ally: Lmao >> yes... very good

Awesome! Yeah, a few of mine will have varying opinions. Would love to have Caligrace involved in discussions, or even the less agreeable character. Honestly the more interaction and discussion the better!

I'm not sure how Nerissa is going to go about this, but she's not the type to make herself well known. She'll probably just try to hide deeper in the shadows, but that's no fun so I'm gonna try to figure out something.

It can be tricky working it out, for sure! Anyone is welcome to jump in the thread to discuss options.
