Essentially, it's a game of fantasy gladiators, where you take control of a ruling noble tasked with capturing and trading warriors to fight in the games. Each player travels from city to city, building up their team and amassing their fortune as they fight in four contests. Players can assassinate rival gladiators, gamble in the pits, send their gladiators for training, bribe officials, and more in the lead up to the final grand melee at the end of the game.
