Classed humans: strength in numbers

I'm playing around with a plot idea which would tie into the city level being critical, the birth of political factions, and add some conflict between classed humans and vampires. I'm looking for active blood thief characters who would be interested in working as a unit to hunt down stronger vampires, in order to gain more power when feeding. Alliance with paladins and sorcerers would be a possibility too, though I'm primarily interested in getting a group of blood thieves together - preferably with a variety of attributes and skills.

I'm working through the details, but before pitching the idea in full, I'd like to know if there is enough of a presence for this to have any chance of becoming something. I think that, if the truth about vampires is inevitably going to come out, there could be cause for a strong classed human faction trying to exist in-between humans and vampires.

Please come forth if you play a classed human and are interested.

Not a classed human - but if you wanted vampires, then Robert feeds them willingly while CC will sell hers to them. It's been RP'd for a while, so it's widely known in the NPC blood thief community. lol. Totally up to you and the others if you take that as known by your charries. :)

It's up to each player to decide what relationships they want to have with vampires. Personally, I'm interested in exploring the other facet of blood thieves, not the diplomatic way which involves permission or payment. The NPC vampires to feed off on the grid don't give any conflict or chance for roleplay development, and the alternative, well, not all blood thieves might be willing to pay or want to be trust buddies with vampires. I think that it's worth exploring other options, namely a darker facet, thus offering playable blood thieves the opportunity to shape their community in more ways than one. In between witnessed feedings and hacked evidence, along with identity sharing, there is a way for something sinister to come of the city alert level being critical. The question is, are there even any blood thieves active? And if so, how many would be interested in this kind of storyline?

I have 2 blood thieves.

One is a BT/Paladin and the other dual classed BT.

Let me know if this takes off. I wouldn't mind joining in.

Good luck with this. If I had a human character, I would sign up in a heartbeat.

Lol. I didn't say it wasn't a fabulous plan, or that you shouldn't do it. Just offering up another possible layer to your plans, or some info that could be taken into account as your plan and group grows.

As an example, the group you make could take powers from CC or Robert - to make them stronger and more formidable for when they went out hunting for other vampires to do their thing with. All depends on your plan and what it is you're looking to do once you've hunted down the strong vamps.

Another example would be that those two are known in BT circles, as are the places they frequent and where they can be found. Nothing to say that once your group is made, they test their tactics out on 'easy' targets. Unless of course you didn't want to RP with vampires and were planning on NPC'ing them.

Good luck with however you move this forward! :)

I'm tempted. At the very least, I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread! I currently have two human characters in play, though only one of them is a BT at the moment. This would definitely appeal to him, though, so color me interested.

If you do manage to gather enough interest for it to get off the ground, I'd be happy to throw one or the other in. Good luck!

I've only one human right now and she's already involved in a unit of sorts. But I'll nudge the leader this way! They're paladins, but who knows? If I make another BT I will def look I to this. Good luck!

A Paladin/BT alliance could be really cool, and might actually work super well for whatever Mackenzie has planned (not that I know about it at all), but I'd love to see something like that spring to life.

I have a Sorc who might be interested in helping out if you go in that direction, no blood thieves currently.
